We booked The Jetwing Lighthouse Cardamon room to host a dinner for 22 guests recently. After having a few correspondence issues initially, I was contacted by Amila from banqueting and catering, and from then on it was fantastic. All my requests and queries were answered by him immediately, professionally and with absolute clarity. There was nothing that was an issue with them. The evening was a huge success, with waiters serving and looking after all the needs of our guests, so that we could both relax and enjoy the evening too. Chef Awantha personally escorted those with dietary needs, explaining the dishes and by making some extra special dishes like crab curry and hoppers. Thank you especially to Amila and Awantha and the staff for making a buffet dinner, a 5 star experience.

The location is perfect, right near the ocean with breathtaking sea views and close to the Galle Fort. The hotel is very clean, calm, and beautifully maintained.||The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always helpful. From check-in to check-out, the service was excellent and made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a relaxing atmosphere.||The food was delicious, with good variety and quality. Breakfast was especially enjoyable with the ocean view. The pool area and surroundings are peaceful and perfect for relaxing.||Overall, this hotel is ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking for a luxury and relaxing stay in Galle. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.||---

This really is a lovely hotel hotel. Cannot fault any part of it, the staff are all very courteous and freindly Lovely big rooms Good food. The only thing that you need to be aware of is there is not really anywhere around the hotel to go to. Not an issue but sometime if you stay somewhere for a extended time it is nice to walk to somewhere different for a drink or some shops, that is not an option here.

We stayed there for a couple of days. I really liked the rooms with the huge balcony and some chairs and even a lounge bed. The service is great and every hotel staff is so friendly. Breakfast and Dinner are really good. All in all a really nice stay! Thank you.

We stayed at the John Davy Suite and the stay was just perfect. With a British - Sri Lankan ambience, the suite comprised of a plunge pool with the perfect view of the Southern Ocean. |We were there for a birthday getaway and it was such a delight to receive a surprise cake that was rich in chocolate goodness to pair well with our champagne. ||Our Butler Pradeep was consistent in his service from the time we checked in. He anticipated our needs and attended to it timely, always with his pleasant demeanor. He gave us an informative introduction of the premises and the available services. ||The spa has a wide selection of treatments and experienced Indonesian therapists. ||We had dinner off a set menu with a great selection of beverages and mains. The breakfast buffet had a selection of different cuisines and some favorite Sri Lankan staples. ||The staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Will definitely stay with Jetwing Lighthouse again.

I don't usually post reviews, but I thought why not, epecially with how everything went during our stay here. Now, what I loved most was the location. It’s built right onto the rocks, so you get these uninterrupted views of the ocean that are especially stunning at sunset. The rooms are massive and have a great "old world" tropical feel without feeling dated. A huge shoutout to the staff who were attentive without being hovering. Honestly, sipping a drink on the terrace while the waves crash below was the highlight of my trip. Btw, we thought parking was pretty limited, but turns out there's a huge lot just across the street. Highly recommended.
