One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at (and we travel a lot!). Definitely recommend the room with the private plunge pool (which includes your own personal butler). INCREDIBLE view to wake up to in the morning and you won't regret it! Also the restaurant is so good, we ate every single meal there and couldn't get enough of the food. They made excellent local Sri Lankan dishes with so much flavor and spice. Spa services were also excellent! The hotel was also able to arrange transportation from Colombo airport (through Charlie) which made it seamless for us. Charlie helped us with ride services and ensured on time pick up and drop off. We will definitely be coming back!

We hosted our wedding at this hotel and had an excellent overall experience. The hotel staff were outstanding and supportive throughout the event. GM - Mr. Farrel, Mr. Krishantha, the chef Mr. Thushara, Ms. Shashika, and the entire team contributed greatly to making our day a success. There were a few issues with some event-related arrangements handled by an external vendor (Anywhera Events). However, the hotel team went above and beyond to step in and resolve those issues immediately, even when they were not under their direct responsibility. Their professionalism and willingness to help truly stood out. The hotel stay for all our guests was excellent. Rooms were comfortable, service was attentive, and the spa treatments really stood out and received great feedback from our guests. Despite the large number of guests, service during the event was smooth and never delayed. Every request was handled promptly and with care. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and booking the entire property was absolutely worth every penny. The food was excellent, and the team was very flexible and accommodating with our custom requests. Feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive. The only minor point mentioned was that the car parking area was a bit far from the hotel, which is understandable for a large wedding. Highly recommended for weddings and special events.

Our butler Hashini was amazing and took great care of my wife and myself throughout our stay.||The dinner and breakfast were delicious, the private pool was very clean and well maintained, and we really enjoyed the complimentary foot massage. The place has a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and is perfect for a relaxing getaway.||Highly recommended, we would love to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at Saman Villas. Exceptional service, great food and comfort. Attention to detail from all staff that made our stay amazing. Special thanks to Niroshan and Kavindu who looked after us at all times and made our experience flawless. Sadly they were fully booked these days due to holiday season and we couldn't stay longer but we would definitely come again next time.

We recently returned to Saman Villas for a two-night stay, a place that holds a special place in our hearts — it’s where we had our pre-wedding get-together and photo shoot two years ago. This visit was every bit as magical as we remembered. We stayed in the Deluxe Superior Pool Suite, which offered complete privacy and stunning ocean views. The private plunge pool and the main infinity pool were both incredibly refreshing — perfect spots to unwind and soak in the scenery. The service was exceptional. Our personal butler Budde was an absolute gem — attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of our needs. Kavisha and Sashika also communicated beautifully, making everything seamless from check-in to departure. The food was fantastic, with a wonderful variety and fresh flavours. We especially loved dining next to the pool — a truly romantic and memorable experience under the stars. From the views to the hospitality, every detail at Saman Villas radiates warmth and luxury. It’s a place that feels both intimate and world-class, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.
