When you're 45 years old you hardly appreciate hostel bunk beds, shared rooms, small bathrooms, BUT, I was chaperoning my teenager and she didn't complain that much.
I appreciated the gluten free options at breakfast, but not too much diversity in terms of fresh vegetables (must be a cultural aspect), and the sports youngsters needed better nutrition overall. Our gluten free dinners were very good, the staff very helpful.
The noise from the other rooms and from the street (busy highstreet nearby) made it very hard to get some sleep.
