Superb little cottage with everything you need. It was warm and cosy with a lovely welcome pack. The fairy lights around the fireplace looked amazing. All the little extras were a nice touch. We are already planning on returning very soon

This charming cottage was a real delight for our weekend stay in Matlock! It is perfectly equipped and the huge bed was the comfiest we’ve ever slept in! I love the attention to detail and really appreciate the high quality bedding and the high standard of cleanliness. The location, whilst up a steep hill from the town was actually great! What a fantastic way to burn those extra calories consumed in the fantastic cafes and bars in town at the end of the day! Thanks Jo! We’ll definitely be back

What a treat! Such a beautiful cottage, furnished to a high standard and in a great location. We had the best nights sleep as the bed's are SO comfy and the cottage has such a cosy feel about it. The host Jo was very welcoming and her communication was excellent. Will definitely be returning and told all my friends, as a great place to stay and so much to see and do right on your doorstep. Thank you Jo.

It's a self catering cottage so service not scored, but it is will appointed and comfortable. Old building so steep stairs and uneven steps, just in case that matters to you. Two massive, very comfy beds.
Pubs/bars v close and a nice deli.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst exploring the area. The cottage was cosy and beautifully furnished with high quality items throughout. An old stone cottage modernised to a high standard but maintaining its character. The bathroom was modern with a nice powerful shower. The huge bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding. There are a couple of small bars on the doorstep and the town, with many bars and restaurants, is a short walk (10 min) down a very steep hill (an uber back was under a fiver). The cottage was spotless throughout and all arrival instructions were easy to follow and friendly. The onsite parking was fine for a 5-seater MPV. All in all great value for an entire cottage for a comparable price for a Hotel.
