What a beautiful museum with a history of the Jewish community in augsburg. Very powerful and moving. The artifacts and stories in the museum are awesome. The synagogue is beautiful. Lots of items and affordable prices in the store.

The museum is only in German, and the leaflet in English that explains the displays is very limited. However, the Synagogue itself is beautiful, and well worth a visit (especially considering that when we went admission was free)

Auf jeden Fall sehenswert. Die Ausstellung könnte ein wenig größer sein, dafür ist sie nicht so negativ und dramatisch wie manch andere jüdische Ausstellung. Man erfährt viel über die Geschichte der Juden in Augsburg. Es gab kostenloses Kinderbasteln, wo der Kleine ein Tshirt gestalten durfte. Echt gut. Die Synagoge ist schön, leider darf man keine Fotos machen wegen potentieller Gefährdung der Einrichtung. Polizei vor der Tür. Die für solche Museen typische Taschenkontrolle. Das macht mich traurig.

Sehr interessante Darstellungen des jüdischen Lebens in und um Augsburg (in Schwaben). Gutes aufbereitetes Museumskonzept, Audio und Videosequenzen. Die große Synagoge überrascht. Derzeit leider (oder endlich?) Bauarbeiten in der Synagoge mit einer Einrüstung, die den optischen Genuss der Synagoge aber nicht allzu sehr schmälert. Leider sind keine Fotos in der Synagoge erlaubt, es gibt interessante Details zu entdecken und abzuzeichnen... Netter Museumsshop und Café. Beachtet die Öffnungszeiten!

Es war so wunderbar!!!! Das Museum wurde sehr schön gestaltet und auch der Besuch in der Synagoge ist ein Highlight. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfreich! Komme bald wieder !
