JHANKAR HAVELI

We had an amazing stay at Jhankar Haveli in Jodhpur. The building itself is stunning—an authentic haveli full of character, beautifully restored with traditional Rajasthani details. The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of charm, with carved wooden doors, colorful textiles, and a peaceful courtyard that made for a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. What really made our stay special, though, was the hospitality. Vikram went above and beyond to help us during our time in Jodhpur. He was incredibly kind, generous with his time, and full of helpful suggestions. Whether it was arranging rides, recommending the best spots to visit, or helping us navigate the local area, he made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome and at home. The location is great too—right in the heart of the old city, just a short walk to the clock tower and markets, and close to the Mehrangarh Fort. The rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view of the fort, and the food was also excellent—fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. All in all, Jhankar Haveli is a beautiful place to stay, and thanks to Vikram, our experience in Jodhpur was even more memorable. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

What a lovely place in the most amazing part of Jodhpur! We stayed in a beautiful, spacious and clean room, with tasteful furniture. The stuff was helpulf, super nice and professional. We are now enjoying a yummy breakfast and really good coffee in the charming restaurant in the hotel and we already regret we have lo leave :) Totally worth the price! Recommendable 100 %

Jodhpur is one town full of culture and traditions. We can call it Maharaja city of Rajasthan.||We had planned a short visit to Jodhpur and wanted to stay right in the heart. Finally we zeroed down to Jhankar Haveli. The moment we entered,  we were greeted by Mr. Vikram who was extremely pleasant and very accommodating.  This is one of the best addresses to stay in the city. All good reviews hold true to them. The rooms were absolutely rustic with all modern facilities. The reception and restaurant are quite nice. ||Few minor cons, the board put outside is pathetic.  Charging for just 1 water bottle was unexpected.  They need to offer package with breakfast as ordering works out expensive. ||But one thing for sure would definitely like to repeat and stay here only. Personal touch is remarkable.  One more thing, Vikram was great in suggesting good place to have non-veg dinner as this hotel is veg.||

The room we were initially given was extremely hot (35–40°C), and the air conditioning couldn’t cool it down. It was clear the staff were aware of this issue, yet they still offered us the room. We eventually switched to another room and were refunded the price difference. Unfortunately, the new room was never cleaned during our stay—it was dusty and very noisy. The food is good but we saw mice near the wall of the hall, so not a good sign. On top of that, the hotel arranged a camel safari for us despite a weather alert in the area. The experience turned out to be terrible: we spent only 15 minutes in a heavy storm and had to return. The hotel refused to refund the cost of the safari and offered only 400 INR for the dinner we missed (which was supposed to be in the desert, but the location didn’t resemble one at all).

Jhankar Haveli is honestly one of the best restaurants in Jodhpur – the food is delicious, the vibe is so traditional, and the live folk music makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Jodhpur! And of course, whenever I come back to this city, Jhankar Haveli will definitely be on my list again.

This is an amazing hotel to stay in! The staff is excellent, the food was awesome, and the vibe was fantastic. Cleanliness was top-notch—everything was perfect. In fact, there was live music, which made the day even more special. The rooftop was great, offering a nice view of the fort, and all the tourist spots were nearby.

Amazing historic building, well maintained in the heart of the Old City. Vikram, Subhash and team went out of their way to make sure this was an unforgettable stay, accommodating late changes to our booking and going the extra mile to welcome us and make us feel at home in Jodhpur. The evening with local Rajasthani entertainment was a particular highlight, whilst the view from our room and the rooftop was spectacular. I only wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely look to visit again.

We went here for dinner. The food was average, but the ambience was good—it’s an old haveli with an antique charm.
