Ji Restaurant Bali

Absolutely loved this Japanese rooftop restaurant I visited yesterday! The prices were very reasonable, and the view overlooking the ocean was perfect for watching the surfers ride the waves. My cocktail arrived with a dramatic dry ice effect, such a cool touch! The waiter was so lovely and attentive, even brought me extra wasabi without hesitation. Great vibes, great service, and a stunning setting. Highly recommend if you're in the area! 🌊🍣🍸

Absolutely amazing food! And beautiful view. We watched the sunset, and enjoyed a variety of starters, sushi, the ribs (fantastic), and dessert. All of it 10/10! And Sapna our waitress was so sweet and attentive.

The food is exceptional, very very high quality. We had tuna tataki, ribs, sushi and all of them were amazing. The desserts were so nicely executed. The whole experience was one of the best we had in Bali. The view is on the sea. Also the staff was so friendly. Special thanks to Sapna for being so lovely with us.

We were staying three days in Canggu and tryed out this Restaurant and stayed! It's a lovely place with AMAZING Food. The staff was super friendly, especially our waitress Sapna a real ray of sunshine and a blessing for Ji Restaurant. We would always recommend comming here. Great experience and high quality food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A masterpiece of Japanese fusion with ocean vibes While staying at the enchanting Hotel Tugu next door, I discovered ji Restaurant – and it quickly became my favorite spot for dinner in Canggu. Set in a breathtaking 1930s Javanese teakwood villa, originally part of a 1706 Chinese temple, the space is filled with Asian antiques, art, and soul. It’s elegant, unique, and full of history – one of the most atmospheric places in Bali. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views over the Indian Ocean – perfect for sunset or watching the surf lineup during the day. The food is Japanese fusion at its finest – fresh sushi, creative small plates, and bold, balanced flavors. Every dish is beautifully presented and deeply satisfying. And the cocktails are outstanding – especially the Kublai, a bold and earthy mix of tequila, whiskey, tamarind, turmeric, and ginger honey. It’s a sophisticated tropical drink with a clear nod to Jamu, Bali’s traditional herbal elixir – rich, vibrant, and unforgettable. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You feel looked after without ever being rushed. A must-visit in Canggu for anyone who appreciates great food, artistic ambiance, and a bit of Bali magic.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Our waiter Aldi took great care of us, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly and warm. We ordered a bunch of things to try as much as possible and every dish was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chefs and the whole crew at Ji!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at this Japanese restaurant in Bali. From the moment we arrived, we could see why our hotel had recommended it. Every item on the menu seems to catch your attention, and you really don’t know what to order — lol. The sushi and sashimi are of the highest level. The dessert was also very good — a melted chocolate ball. We would like to give special recognition to Devie, who made our evening even more special with her attentive, friendly service and genuine concern for providing us with the best experience possible. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Bali. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

Really nice vibe especially for sunset. Great japanese food. Great please to just chill talk and enjoy the sunset. Staff also so friendly and Ari is nice he even explain some Balinese ceremony. Really nice and I recommend you to come for sunset.
