Ji Restaurant Bali

Absolutely amazing food! And beautiful view. We watched the sunset, and enjoyed a variety of starters, sushi, the ribs (fantastic), and dessert. All of it 10/10! And Sapna our waitress was so sweet and attentive.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Our waiter Aldi took great care of us, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly and warm. We ordered a bunch of things to try as much as possible and every dish was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chefs and the whole crew at Ji!

We had an absolutely incredible experience at this Japanese restaurant in Bali. From the moment we arrived, we could see why our hotel had recommended it. Every item on the menu seems to catch your attention, and you really don’t know what to order — lol. The sushi and sashimi are of the highest level. The dessert was also very good — a melted chocolate ball. We would like to give special recognition to Devie, who made our evening even more special with her attentive, friendly service and genuine concern for providing us with the best experience possible. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Bali. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

Ji Restaurant was so so good!! Super easy to get to from our hotel, you enter through the coffee shop downstairs and then walk up to the third floor for the restaurant. The service was great, the staff were really attentive and they were all super nice. We ordered six different dishes from the menu and all of them were delicious. Perfect spot to grab a drink and dinner during happy hour, and also get a pretty view of the Bali sunset. Highly recommend!

Love this place, such a stunning sunset beach view and amazing service with a great varied menu and delicious steak and sushi. Love the atmosphere, cool eclectic Indonesian interior and art with a beautiful roof bar deck overlooking the ocean. Thank you Astawa for a lovely evening!

3 stars The setting is stunning with breathtaking ocean views, and the cocktails were excellent — definitely a highlight. However, the food was inconsistent. The seaweed salad and tempura prawns were delicious, but the sauce with the prawns was bland. The tuna tartare was dry and lacked flavour, and the gyozas were undercooked with an overpowering ginger aftertaste. I was expecting more based on the reviews. Beautiful ambience, but the dining experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.

We had a beautiful night at Ji last night! Our food was so delicious and all the fish tasted so fresh. I really enjoyed my chirashi don, while my friends loved their salmon lava rolls. The miso soup, ramen and udon were a really good addition to our meals. The service was really kind and helpful the whole night. The ambiance on the roof was also so lovely. If we had more time in Canggu we would have loved to come back a second time!!

Literally the best japanese food I’ve had since I moved to Bali 4 years ago! The service was excellent! Aris was a star! Even though he was by himself attending to all tables, he brought our food quickly and addressed all pur requests with a big smile and outstanding professionalism! The views are great as well and location is unmatched! I cannot recommend this place enough! And specially if you get Aris as your server.
