Convenient hotel for one night stay for not very demanding guests. Pros: Spacious and elegantly decorated rooms, tasty food at the hotel restaurant, nice and helpful staff. Cons: very poor Wi-Fi strength and low water pressure under the shower.

The hotel is a convenient location for Jibreen fort which is less than 10 minutes drive away. This is a large traditional Omani hotel quite opulent in style. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a corner room which provided plenty of natural light. Very large comfortable bed and good shower with plenty of hot water. There are no tea/coffee making facilities but the rooms do have air conditioning and WiFi although the signal for us was a little patchy. ||Breakfast the following morning is sufficient. The is a small buffet table offering tea, coffee, juice, cereals and toast and you also get a personal plate of various food items containing fruit, cheese, tomato, cucumber, cake and various jams. Eggs cooked to order also available. There was no restaurant open at the time of our visit but there is a very good restaurant just across the road that was better than we expected. ||For the low price offered this is a very good option and perfect for an overnight stay.||

Very friendly welcome. Generally very attentive staff. Fulfilled individual wishes e.g. a special fruit drink, had our vehicle cleaned for us. Excellent cuisine. Although the location is on the main road, it was very quiet at night. All necessary possibilites for shopping and services very handy.

A big hotel, quite empty at this time of the year. We are the only visitors here. The room is spacious, luxurious and oriental with a big, comfortable bed and three windows. The bathroom is nice and clean. The linen and the towels are white and clean.||We get a big breakfast. The staff is nice. The price is a bit too high, I think. We pay 29 OMR for one night.

I was doing an Oman round trip with a 4x4 car and after some nights in the tent in the desert just needed ashore and a real bed. So I stopped over in Bahla. The hotel was absolutely reasonable, clean with good and friendly service. Bathroom, shower and toilet fine, bed brilliant. Small in house restaurant makes good Indian food. Next morning I was able to do an early start and went to Nizwa. So, nothing special and luxurious, but I would recommend Jibreen Hotel.

It was a decent place. (It looks fancy in the photos, but that's plastic furniture.) The breakfast is lovely, and there are 2 lads to cook omelettes for you and greet you in French and Arabic. Be advised that the rooms are not noise proof, so you may hear the chatty French mother next door bathing her 4 children. To be honest, next time, I will likely just stay at that hotel in Nizwa with the white catfish shark. 🙂

The room furnishings here take a bit of getting used and breakfast is a bit off-beat to but we couldn’t help but like the hotel overall. We had a straightforward double room and it was clean, tidy and cavernously large with one of the biggest double beds I’ve ever seen. Furnishings are very grand (not sure what the theme is) and, I would say, a bit of an acquired taste. There was no kettle and no bedside lights. Breakfast is a bit of a mixed affair. There is a buffet table with toast, cereals and juice and omelettes are available to order. In addition, everyone receives a personal platter with a pre-packaged croissant, a cup cake, some sliced tomato & cucumber, an apple and a selection of butter, jams, honey, cream cheese triangle and a processed cheese square. The hotel is located on the side of the main road through Bahla but is some distance from the centre so it’s essential to have a car. There are a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance on the other side of the road and a small shop just along from the hotel. All in all this hotel is a reasonable place to stay for the price.
