Jim McLean Golf School at The Biltmore Hotel

I’ve been taking group lessons with Nick Hayes at the Miami Beach location for almost a year now. I’m a part of a ladies golf association here in Miami and once a month Nick teaches a different topic to my group. He makes lessons fun and interesting. He has so much patience for us and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I’ve often been told by some of the ladies that the lessons with Nick are their favorite and I absolutely agree with them.

Had such a rewarding and enjoyable experience at the Jim McLean 2 day golf school in coral gables! Great facilities, super customer service and an amazing instructor in Ji Kim! Fixed a number of basics that increased my consistency and ball striking. And The Grind is a great way to build muscle memory.

This place is incredible. The biggest difference here is the instructors. These guys are next-level. Super knowledgeable, patient, and really tuned in to your swing. No generic advice. No cookie-cutter drills. They meet you exactly where you are and build from there. They explain things in a way that actually makes sense, using video and simple feedback that you can take with you to the course. I finally understood what I was doing wrong and, more importantly, how to fix it when it shows up again. The whole vibe is relaxed but professional. You never feel rushed. You feel coached. And the Biltmore setting doesn’t hurt either. Beautiful, calm, and a perfect place to focus on your game. I left hitting the ball better, feeling more confident, and honestly excited to play again. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants real improvement and great instruction.

This golf school is no joke! It’s a lot of work but they cover every aspect of the game in depth. The instructors are excellent and have a wealth of knowledge and first hand experience. They can tell pretty quickly what improvements can be made, and then specialize your personal instruction to focus on those areas. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their game, but willing to put in the work to do so.

Go check out the Sunday clinic! Great experience for both beginners and seasoned players. Mitch and Shawn on the McLean team are smart and approachable guys who understand the game well with a positive and proven style of teaching. Left with a little more confidence and looking forward to coming back soon!

Took a golf lesson with Luke Collum and he was a great instructor. Very professional and articulate. I took away a lot of learnings from just one hour of lesson. Highly recommend him. The practice area and where you get lessons are very nice. Beautiful place.

My husband and I had a great time at the 3 day golf school! I can’t say enough about the format, instruction, and setting for the program. Glen, our amazing instructor, was so helpful and knowledgeable at each step of the school. As a beginner, he was able to quickly recognize my strengths and areas of improvement and help me develop next steps. He used his expertise and knowledge to guide our lessons and instructor. Each of us (only 3 in our group) had a great time and gained unmatched coaching and experiences. I highly recommend Jim McLean Golf School for all ages and golf leveled. We hope to return soon!

Time and money well spent. Rafael was easily able to identify issues and provide guidance on correcting them. Also used video to show my son before and after on each type of shot. We booked a 90 minute lesson focused on short game and it was excellent! Beautiful facilities too.

I absolutely loved my lesson today with Jim McLean. His knowledge of the game is incredible. He gives excellent advice. I immediately experienced improvements and can't wait to go back.

As a member of the Biltmore its a great privilege to have Mcleans school move from Doral to Coral Gables. Instructors are top notch, friendly, reasonably priced and extremely knowledgeable. Expect immediate improvement after each lesson. I strongly recommend Grayson and Chad, but can't go wrong with any of the instructors.
