Jimbaran Bay Seafood (JBS)

This restaurant is a seafood paradise. Not recommended for vegetarians or other types of foods. The restaurant is directly on the beach, it’s alongside various restaurants over the same beach strip. There was an independent band passing across the various restaurants over the beach and they were singing songs in various languages. I have uploaded a video of the band. Recommended…!

We enjoyed our sunset dinner here! We chose the Ketut package, and it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious, and it even came with a free drink. We went with beer ofcourse! 😃 The staff were very accommodating and they let us move to a table closer to the beach. My favorites were the shrimp and lobster!

Food was good but VERY expensive compared to similar restaurants and food quality on the same beach. Service was average. The atmosphere on the beach is amazing

If you go for fresh fish or other seafood in Jimbaran this location is a must to go. It is a local warung style restaurant with an astonishing amount of tables at the beach. If you are sitting in the front area you might want to consider shorts and flip-flops since the ocean is always good for a little surprise. To share the fresh seafood with a lot of friends is the best choice. See you there next time - I will be back for sure. 🤙🤗

I had high hopes for Jimbaran Bay Beach Seafood, but unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. We decided to visit for dinner, looking forward to enjoying fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. However, we found the overall experience to be quite disappointing. First, let’s talk about the price. We ended up spending around 1 million Indonesian Rupiah for a combo meal that included lobster, shrimp, crab, clams, fish, calamari, and what I believe was Malatang. While I understand seafood can be pricey, the quality of the food did not justify the cost. The menu feels overly commercialized, and it seems like they’re more focused on catering to tourists rather than providing an authentic seafood experience. The seafood we received was not as fresh as we expected, especially considering we were dining by the beach. The lobster and shrimp were somewhat dry, and the cooking lacked the vibrant flavors you would hope for in a seafood dish. The clams were also underwhelming and didn’t taste fresh, which was disappointing. Overall, the meal felt mediocre and didn’t live up to the coastal dining experience we were looking for. While the ambiance of the beachside location was nice, it couldn’t compensate for the lack of quality in the food. It felt like we were paying for the view rather than a well-prepared meal. In conclusion, I can only give Jimbaran Bay Beach Seafood a 2 out of 5. While it may work for those looking for a casual dining spot near the beach, if you’re seeking a genuine seafood experience with fresh ingredients and reasonable prices, I would recommend exploring other options. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

AVOID AT ALL COST. Driver keeps saying this is the place that he visited for the last 5 years. All bullshit. Way more expensive than other places. Food was below average. We had to leave 50% of the banquet for 2 as it tasted funny. To the owner: if you want proof that we dine in your place, here you go.

For me, it's relatively pricy (maybe it is cheap for some others). The taste is rather similar among the food there. But you can enjoy the sea view as well 😸

Great experience from booking a table to quality of the food. Greta location to done and watch the sunset. The personnel was amazing super nice and accommodating! A must visit!
