Jimbaran Bay Beach is way way way better than Kuta Beach — with clean, golden sand, calm seas, and gentle waves. It offers the perfect setting for a slow, relaxed sunset away from the crowds. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views make it an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a tranquil evening by the ocean.

The beach is washed by the waters of Jimbaran Bay. It's wide and white sandy. The tides are moderate. The entry into the water is gentle and shallow. The beach is unique because it faces due west. Just before sunset, it becomes crowded with people watching the sun disappear over the horizon. Planes landing at Denpasar Airport are clearly visible. The airport is a 15-minute drive from Jimbaran hotels, and its lights are easily visible. It boasts the largest concentration of seafood restaurants in all of Bali. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to breathe not only sea air but also the smoke from grills.

A beautiful, wide, sandy beach with a very gentle slope into the water, it's a perfect place to relax or take your first surfing lessons. In the evening, the beach transforms into a restaurants, which is also worth experiencing.

Love this place. Magical sunsets across the beach and ocean. There are some hawkers but nowhere near as bad as Kuta. There’s a variety of restaurants right on the beach with amazing seafood at great prices. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here. The water is much calmer too so you can paddle your feet safely, unlike the surf beaches to the north. Mozzies and sandflies were not bad either. Quite often see fireworks along the strip too which is an added bonus

The sunset was absolutely gorgeous, but getting there was a bit of a hassle with heavy traffic beforehand. Once on the beach, it was pretty packed with people, which made it a little hard to find a quiet spot and enjoy the view peacefully

One of the most beautiful beaches in Bali, especially famous for its sunset view. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, with long stretches of golden sand perfect for walking. The main highlight here is the seafood dining experience right by the beach—grilled fish, prawns, and calamari served while you watch the sun go down. It’s romantic, perfect for couples, but also great for family gatherings. The vibe is lively in the evening but still feels safe and comfortable. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Bali.

Fabulous place for sunsets. Water is calm and it’s a great place for a walk. On beach dining available, but gets very busy in the evenings. A bit of trash littering the sand / water, but not enough to spoil the experience. Recommended!
