New favourite London cafe!! Coffee roasted on the premises, which is delivered with a great taste and visually perfect… Food menu is exactly what you need on a hangover and just generally good! Chilled music playing, lots of space….

Beautiful, airy, and cosy spot in Islington. The food is genuinely delicious, and the atmosphere makes you want to linger. The menu is also much bigger than I expected, with plenty of options for any time of day. The highlight of my visit was discovering Kurdish coffee (spoiler: it’s not actually coffee!). It’s brewed from roasted white pistachios, naturally decaf, and even healthy. The taste is incredible: rich, nutty, with a hint of cocoa. It’s instantly become my new favourite hot drink. This place works for everything: a laptop session, a quick lunch, a sunny Aperol break, or simply to try the Kurdish coffee. And if you’re a purist, they also serve proper Greek and proper Turkish coffees.

This is my second visit to this cafe. The employees are so warm and sincere that I felt myself in my office. While doing my job, every request was met with a smiling face and even solved the problem I had on the computer:) The girls were studying at good universities, they owned the place like their own homes. Their breakfasts and salads are very good, and although I stay away from gluten, I love the pastries here. Now I have an office in this area that I will enjoy working. Thank you

Really not in the business of giving negative reviews - particularly in the difficult economic climate, especially for hospitality. But I entered the cafe today, fifteen minutes before closing time and with plenty of customers still with food and drink - and politely signalled that I wanted to use the toilet before buying something, so the proprietor didn’t think I was just trying to use the loo. He informed me somebody was in there to which I responded I was happy to wait. What followed was one of the most bizarre episodes of my life, where he completely lost the plot for no apparent reason and began screaming at me repeatedly in front of all the customers present that they were closed. If he didn’t want my business, he could have just said that rather than saying something which was patently untrue. He didn’t appear at all well so I hope he can get whatever treatment he needs, as other people won’t respond in such a sanguine way as I did.

Yelp
What have we here!? This cute little corner shop just tucked away a short walk down Goswell Road from the hustle and bustle of Clerkenwell/Old Street we have Jimmy & the Bee! Now, this place has taken on several personalities over the years, none of them particularly interesting -- but when I noticed little Jimmy and his Bee had set up shop, I had a hunch things were gonna be different, folks. And I was right! This little cafe is equal parts slick and sweet. The interior is clean, with lots of seating, a roaring espresso machine and small menu and treats to keep the noshers happy. I came at the inopportune hour of 2ish -- so they were mostly out of lunch salads, but I'll be back earlier next time. I snagged a long black, made a mental note of the decadent hot chocolates they were whipping up, and was on my way. Easy peasy, very pleasant and plenty of folks reading, working (assuming there is wifi), chatting and otherwise enjoying the space and its plethora of seats and tables. Very nice indeed! I'll be back Jimmy & the Bee. I'll be back.

Yelp
I just love this little coffee shop....first important thing it makes very good coffee (even if slightly more expensive than my average flat white I must admit), but to top it all it is also managed by very nice people, they will also give you a warm and friendly welcome. They also offer lunch options, with salads, quiches or sandwiches...I had the quiche and salad once and it's worth the try if you are around there for lunch and looking for a quick bite, cakes are really good if you want something sweet to go with your coffee (banana bread with chocolate chips, do I need to say more?) I also love their stamps card system: you put your name on the card and leave it at the coffee shop, this way, no risk of forgetting the card and ending up with 5 cards as you keep on forgetting it (yes....this is the sort of things I do). I am moving away from the area soon and I am very sad to leave it behind!

Yelp
This was a very pleasant discovery. The shop had previously taken a few different guises none of which were massively appealing, so its great to find great coffee (they know their stuff, Alchemy as house standard and The Roasting Shed beans currently on guest) and an eclectic selection of cakes and tempting sweet treats. They also have a nice set up so you can either pop in for a quick takeaway or have a proper sit down. The staff are lovely and will offer recommendations on the coffees they have. You may even get lucky and catch them on a day when they are handing out samples! Top coffee, tasty bites and lovely staff. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The food is outstanding and very much out does anything local to this area and I have to say I was particularly surprised when I popped in. Great relaxed atmosphere and you can spend hours working here / reading papers without hassle. The staff are great apart from one particular guy who tends to be quite aggressively abrupt. If you're planning on getting a decent coffee, look for the young lady who smiles a lot.

Yelp
Had to try this place because ot the name. Got carrot juice which was extremely sweet and almost completely pulp free. The brownie was wonderfully chocolaty and moist while the almond croissant was nice and flaky.

Yelp
Friendly, very accommodating. Had a slow brunch one day, but had to grab a quick breakfast the next day, and they prepared breakfast and drinks for 5 of us quickly, with great quality. Could eat or sip coffee here any day!

Yelp
A nice, friendly, cozy and delicious, good-value neighborhood spot. Always come back when I'm in the neighborhood.

Yelp
If I was local, I might hesitate to review because I don't want them to be over-run, but this place is perfect. Excellent wifi, tons of outlets, and awesome staff that don't mind you settling in to work for hours. Coffee and food (pastries, quiche, sandwiches) are great too.
