All I can say is wow! Jimmy Wah's has to be in the top 5 restaurants I've ever tried in the Gold Coast. We tried the multi course feed-me menu with the wine pairing and every single course was bursting with flavour, and the sauces from each dish were incredible. The chicken wings were honestly the best I've ever had. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend eating here! 👌😋

Our first visit to Jimmy Wah’s in Burleigh Heads was overall a delightful experience. We arrived right as the doors opened, excited to enjoy a good lunch in their beautiful setting. Upon entering, we inquired about seating options, the menu, and any allergy accommodations. While the waitress welcomed us, her reaction felt a bit reserved, especially when asking. A warm smile and a touch more enthusiasm could have made this initial interaction feel more inviting. We ordered the “Lunch Feed Me” option with five courses. Fortunately, our experience quickly improved thanks to Marcus, one of the newer staff members, who made us feel incredibly welcome. He was attentive and personable, always smiling and ensuring we felt comfortable throughout our time there. Despite the initial interaction, we left feeling positive and appreciated the warm atmosphere Marcus helped create. We look forward to returning and enjoying more of their delicious offerings!

Word's cant describe this experience. It maybe tells something that we went twice (for dinner AND for lunch) during 24 hours in the area. Just go, order the Vietnamese Pancake, and you will understand. The service is outstanding: very friendly and professional (great recommendations for both food and drinks), the vibe is lovely and it is a cool space with both indoor and outdoor seating. The portions are of fair size, especially the mains! The Vietnamese Pancake and the Chicken Curry were just too delicious, but everything else we ordered was also excellent. Can't recommend highly enough – many thanks Jimmy Wah's!

We had amazing service from Noa- very helpful and friendly but also was attentive to our needs for more drinks, plates and napkins. The food was outstanding as you can see in the photos. We got the banquet for x 4 people and it amazing!! So many explosions of flavour, texture, and just outstanding combination of culinary delights!! Well done guys - keep up the good work.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious, the staff are on point. Every single bite from what I tried was magic. Try the special drinks as well, you won't regret it.

Jimmy Wah's was recommended to by at least 3 people, and I knew I had to try it out. It was hard to pick out of all the awesome restaurants along this strip, but Jimmy Wah's was the winner of the lot. The vibe of the place was simple but still had an air of authenticity to it. I liked the simple decor and the design of the menus too - any Vietnamese place that features a street-food Granny gets a tick in my book. Here's a lowdown of everything we ordered and EVERYTHING was incredible: - Tempura Barramundi & Betel Leaf: Insane! Such a simple couple of bites but the flavours were fantastic and teleported me back home. The textures were fantastic and I wanted to eat 14 more. - Tempura Oyster & Black Tobiko: The waiter did suggest I ordering one more when I decided to order a single one and after eating it I would have to agree. I could have eaten so many more of these delicate bites. It was so delicious! - Soft Shell Crab Banh Mi: Two of my favourite things combined, I couldn't say no to this dish. I am a sucker for Softshell Crab and Banh Mi at a relatively nice restaurant is always a fun twist. - Grilled Eggplant: A classic. The flavours were perfect and the textures and sauces were amazing. A fantastic vegetarian dish! - Caramelised Pork: Ridiculous, absurd. Flavours were insane and the crispiness of the pork whilst still being as tender as it was blew me away. This dish was perfect. - Coconut Pandan & Mango Sorbet: Light, delicious and refreshing. - Fried Bao, Peanut Ice Cream & Salted Caramel: Unreal. Arguably the best dessert I've had in a while. Everything about this dessert was a winner. The food was far beyond my expectations and I loved the fusion of traditional Vietnamese ingredients with other cultures and the fusion of it all; especially with the cocktails too. I cannot recommend this place enough and I cannot wait to go back there!

We celebrated a birthday with a late lunch here. Our table chose the chefs 5-course menu and it was a great choice. Every course was delicious and there was plenty of food - we didn't finish it all. The food was fresh and flavours well balanced. Nothing had too much heat for our non-spice lover but the fresh chilli enabled others to enjoy a little punch. Cocktails were great, especially loved the Ginny Wah. Caters great for young children.

Yelp
Had dinner here 2 weeks ago with a friend and we did the Feed Me Chef menu with wine pairings which was both delicious and an excellent value (at the US$ exchange rate especially)! The tempura oyster and tempura barramundi bites to start were two of my favorite new foods of the trip. The special chicken wings & pork belly dish were delicious and we were literally slurping up the broth that the wok tossed squid came served in - a great flavor balance! The wine pourings were very generous and equated to 4 full pours of wine so be prepared to get a little buzz

Yelp
The best food and service in Australia so far! We were party of 9 and everyone ordered different items from the menu. Every single dish was cooked and presented to perfection! Service was impeccable, from arranging the table to cocktail service, serving the food and attention to detail! Thank you for the great experience!

Yelp
A well put together menu. Id eat here regularly if I lived at Burleigh. Rarely is every plate at small plate venues faultless as it is here. We ate here twice in three days. The other evening was at Rick Shores which was crowded and the food was fairly pedestrian. We came back to JW for the great flavours. PS the Orion on tap is a perfect liquid accompaniment to the Viet inspired food. Definitely a "don't miss" if your tastebuds run to tasty and fresh. Tempura oysters, betel leaf kingfish, etc all excellent.

Yelp
Great food and flavours. Wait staff were very good with recommendations when asked for advice. Went twice in 2 days. May need to book in evenings

Yelp
Restaurant name sounds Chinese but it is neither real Chinese nor Vietnamese. Pho is prepared using Kuey Teow, not the usual Vietnamese rice noodles, and its broth is not the usual pho broth. Portion is small. The only thing I like about the restaurant is its toilet.
