Absolutely our favourite experience in Burleigh! We had a fantastic evening with our daughters (12 and 17). The ambience was lovely, the service was attentive and helpful, and the food was outstanding. We tried the fresh oysters, beef tartare, spring rolls, wok-fried squid, pork belly, and soft-shell crab with papaya salad (not quite hot enough for us and probably the least exciting), and finished with the Vietnamese pancake with larb and prawn🦐 🙌🎉 Our top favourites were definitely the beef tartare, pork belly and the oysters. It is on the pricier side, and the lighting was a bit too dim and the room a little loud, so that’s where the one star comes off for ambience. Still, we absolutely recommend a visit — it’s worth the experience! 🙌

Absolutely amazing place! I am still thinking about it days after and wish we had a restaurant like this back in Sydney! The food was unreal and everything was cooked to perfection. I can’t even pick a favourite because everything was amazing but the caramelised pork belly topped it all off. The service was immaculate, they didn’t bother you but came and grabbed things off our table at the perfect time and kept refilling our water without us having to ask. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing and we will definitely be coming back if we are ever around the area again! Highly recommend!

The food at this place is out of this world. Contemporary Vietnamese with a hint of Aussie fusion built into preparation. Must try their delicious cocktails, oyster tempura (to Die for), and betel leaf with barramundi. Never had Vietnamese food this good. A must go when in Gold Coast.

What a fabulous ‘feed me’ lunch experience we had! Absolutely mouth watering food, great atmosphere - everyone sang happy birthday to me, and awesome service. We will definitely make a trip back there in the near future. Thanks for a really memorable experience Jack and Diane xxx

Average food with a below average experience to end the night. Negative review as we were charged $20 for 2 bottles of ‘still water’ when we also ordered tap water. Waiter claiming we ordered ‘still water’ instead of tap water, but why we had already drunk tap water so why would we start ordering still water. No compensation was offered. Food wise, got the duck rolls, dumplings, kingfish sashimi and pork belly for entrees - portions were small, some of them were nice but nothing exceptional. Vietnamese pancake, chicken and beef sirloin for the mains, chicken was the highlight here. All in all, fairly small portions of unexceptional food. Can’t say I’ll be back.

We were fortunate enough to be treated to dinner at Jimmy Wah's by a friend. We opted for the "feed me menu" and wow, were we well fed! All 7 courses were beautifully presented and tasted like a carnival of flavours. Complementing the delicious food were the warm and friendly staff who were not only good at their jobs but made us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you Jimmy Wah's for giving us an experience that we'll cherish for all the right reasons!

Loved our dinner here. We ordered the $79 per person ‘feed me’ option. Service was fast and friendly. Enjoyed trying lots of different dishes. There was plenty of food and we didn’t have any room for dessert! We will definitely return to have another meal here the next time we’re in the area.

Had such a great experience at Jimmy Wah’s in Burleigh! The yellow barramundi curry with rice was absolutely delicious and a must try– so rich and full of flavour. The betel leaves were a standout and definitely a must-try as well. We also had the ocean tartare and chicken wings, both were really tasty. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Had dinner here 2 weeks ago with a friend and we did the Feed Me Chef menu with wine pairings which was both delicious and an excellent value (at the US$ exchange rate especially)! The tempura oyster and tempura barramundi bites to start were two of my favorite new foods of the trip. The special chicken wings & pork belly dish were delicious and we were literally slurping up the broth that the wok tossed squid came served in - a great flavor balance! The wine pourings were very generous and equated to 4 full pours of wine so be prepared to get a little buzz

The best food and service in Australia so far! We were party of 9 and everyone ordered different items from the menu. Every single dish was cooked and presented to perfection! Service was impeccable, from arranging the table to cocktail service, serving the food and attention to detail! Thank you for the great experience!

To. Die. For. 100% recommend this place. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is perfect. Great location right near the beach. Definitely try this place!!

A well put together menu. Id eat here regularly if I lived at Burleigh. Rarely is every plate at small plate venues faultless as it is here. We ate here twice in three days. The other evening was at Rick Shores which was crowded and the food was fairly pedestrian. We came back to JW for the great flavours. PS the Orion on tap is a perfect liquid accompaniment to the Viet inspired food. Definitely a "don't miss" if your tastebuds run to tasty and fresh. Tempura oysters, betel leaf kingfish, etc all excellent.

Great food and flavours. Wait staff were very good with recommendations when asked for advice. Went twice in 2 days. May need to book in evenings

Restaurant name sounds Chinese but it is neither real Chinese nor Vietnamese. Pho is prepared using Kuey Teow, not the usual Vietnamese rice noodles, and its broth is not the usual pho broth. Portion is small. The only thing I like about the restaurant is its toilet.
