Jin Myungdong Korean Noodles

Amazing and fairly priced kalguksu in Markham! (~$20-25 per person) I like to come here whenever I'm craving kalguksu, a warm and soupy Korean noodle dish. I usually order the kalguksu + bossam combo for $22, but there are many other options that are cheaper or around the same price. The portions are fair and the flavor of the dishes are remarkable. The kalguksu is very delicious and soothing, and the bossam is great with the spicy veggies. They are a bit stingy with the side dish refills (only limited to 2 small dish refills), but they make everything homemade with high quality ingredients. Their kimchi is absolutely phenomenal too! Overall, great food and very kind Korean aunties and uncles working here. Not the cheapest thing in the area, but good quality. Beware the wait times at dinner and bring cash for 10% off over $40 spend!

This place is always so busy during dinner. I finally decide to come by for late lunch. The foods were amazing and the staffs were great!!! Very authentic Korean cuisine. The dumplings were Big and tasty. We also ordered the spicy pork and soup noodles combo, was perfect. I highly recommend.

The kalguksu at this place is especially chewy and flavorful. I had the bossam set today, and it exceeded my expectations. The bossam was perfectly boiled—soft, juicy, and paired wonderfully with the seasoning. Highly recommended!😊

Very similar to the noodles we had in Seoul at a spot called Myeongdong Kyoja Extension. Food was great, service was even better. It gets super busy be sure to pop your name, number, and party size into the tablet at the front door.

Bad service, please us the tablet for waitlist but never been update. We were waiting right at the door after put in our info, they have free table and still not call us in. Until the people behind us walk-in to talk to them directly, then they gave us the table. Food is good, but just as good as other Korean place, not a WOW factor. Their bosam is dry. They gave us free pop drink for complimentary as sorry for the wait, I appreciate it but still better work on your service.

Delicious food and friendly service. We each got a combo and though it came with more food than we can eat, I wish there were more slices of pork in the spicy pork dish. The noodles tasted homemade and comforting and I loved the side dishes. We also shared an order of dumplings and they were so huge and delicious - highly recommend.

I’ve visited this place many times, and it has never disappointed me. The service is absolutely flawless, and the quality of the food is consistently outstanding. Every visit leaves me genuinely impressed. The spicy kalguksu and kimchi dumplings are simply exceptional — rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. They are easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Honestly, 5 stars are not enough — I would gladly give 10 stars if I could!

For the price 🥰🥰 absolutely delicious, and enormous portions. The mandu are die for, the noodles were smooth and fresh, the soup was savory and extremely addictive. Absolutely perfectly flavored. The kimchi is made in house and is not extremely fermented 😭😭😭 Soooooo good.
