We have been here during a trip to Paris. We found the restaurant by luck when looking for places to eat in the area. We had to wait a few minutes as we did not had a reservation. The wait was worth it. The food was very tasty and a damn good price for the quality we received. The staff was super nice and attentive the whole time. If I am back in Paris, I will be for sure back here as well. For us, it was one of the best meals we had in a while and the best ramen my partner had so far. The portions looked a bit small at first, but we were stuffed when we left. They are the right size to ensure, you are not going home hungry.

Amazing experience, I was here with my bestfriend, the staff is adorable and so sweet. 🥹 The food is so delicious! We ordered tempura and maguro katsu as apetizers and as the main dish I took the Karaage don and she took salmon don. Well seasoned, crispy and perfectly tender. For dessert, yuzu cheesecake and black sesame panna cotta, amazing, perfect balance of flavors. Thank you 🤍

I recommend getting in line for dinner AS SOON as it opens. We showed up an hour after opening and waited in line for about 50 min to be seated. Food and service was well worth it! They had delicious drinks and Japanese beers

Had dinner at this cozy Japanese izakaya in Paris. The vibe is spot-on lanterns, vintage posters, and shelves lined with sake bottles give it an authentic, energetic feel. They’ve got some great Japanese beers too tried the Isekado Gohan Lager and the Sakekasu Hazy IPA. Both worth a sip. The food was a bit hit-and-miss for me. The shiitake mushrooms and chicken donburi were both too salty, which threw off the balance of otherwise nicely cooked dishes. On the flip side, the poulpe salad was fresh and well-seasoned, and the black sesame ice cream (no photo, sorry!) was a great way to end the meal nutty, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. I do appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the effort in presentation. With a few tweaks on seasoning, this place could easily hit higher marks. For now, a fair 3.5/5.

So good and the most amazing staff. Yuzu lemonade is very refreshing and the chicken katsudon is the perfect bowl of food.

Jinchan Sokudo is fantastic! The staff are warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The food was outstanding—especially the soba, rice dishes, and tempura. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Japanese comfort food and great service in Paris!

I ordered the Tempura Don, salmon skin, and karaage. Overall, the food was enjoyable, though the karaage was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor. It would be nice to see more greens on the menu. That said, I really liked the atmosphere and the service was excellent.
