Great thrift store. Their collection is eclectic and unique. They have a lot of second hand furniture of good quality. Workers were welcome. Will definitely be back when I'm more serious about redecorating my home.

This place is so fun to visit. Inventory constantly changes, and there's always something fun to buy. Highly recommended!

I LOVE Chloris & Prase. So much so that I'm there almost every weekend. It's a great spot to pick up gifts for friends (plants, planters, perfume, bath soaks, candles, etc) but tbh I'm usually buying for myself. Chloris & Prase has the best planters- they're unique and affordable. They're my go-to for everything plantie.

Great store to look for props or decorative items - So many good looking objects. Only downside is that the items aren't actually cursed... or are they?

A beautiful, always well stocked houseplant shop. There are terrariums, houseplant supplies, gorgeous pots, candles (Dilo 'Desert Kush' is a candle game changer!), and more. This is a 'must visit' for houseplant lovers.

They've got such great vintage/ antique furniture and decor at very reasonable prices. The folks who work there are also very friendly and helpful.

Unique items fair priced

I stopped by Jinxed on Washington Ave after having lunch nearby. I was drawn in by the open garage door exposing the beautiful furniture pieces they have for sale inside. They are currently requiring masks for entry, in compliance with the new city mandates. The main entrance leads you into a beautiful little plant shop area. They have incredible planters and a wide variety of plant options. I saw a pineapple growing while inside and was so impressed! The store itself offers fairly priced vintage and used furniture, decor, and clothing items. I was shocked to see how inexpensive some items were! I am in need of a small couch and they had some options, but I couldn't find anything that matched my decor. I will definitely return to see what they have in the coming weeks!

I live fairly close to Jinxed and didn't even know it! My husband and I were on a mini thrift store tour, checking out the different stores in the city and we came across Jinxed! I really liked this store because they have a lot of vintage items and there is a cute plant store right next door. This is a great place if you're looking for good quality and vintage items.

This is the biggest of the four Jinxed stores, which used to be thrift shops, but I wouldn't call them that anymore. They have a long-standing policy of no haggling, which was OK when the prices were low, but things have changed... and they're not very cooperative about holding items once you've purchased them, or helping you arrange delivery. They gave me a card for a man with van, whose quote brought the price of the $600 console/dresser I was considering up to 800+. They also don't have particularly stylish stuff, just garden-variety used furniture. All that said, I still check it out periodically when I need something specific, because it's the kind of place where you could get lucky. There's a lot of turnover.

Unfortunately my experience at Jinxed was not the best. My niece, a budding designer, loves stores like Jinxed. I was excited to bring her . As she excitedly browsed the store she picked up a few items to purchase, including a set of sewing needles and threads with a $1.99 price tag. As the young lady was totaling the order a man, I believe his name was Joe said "Oh that's $5 (referring to a poster) and that's $5 too (referring to the sewing needles and threads) . I said "but the price tag says $1.99" He tells us "Oh that was the price the original owner paid , it was being sold with the sewing kit." I said "I'll put it back." I walked the item back to the kit and as I placed it in the kit I heard Joe behind me say "Thank You" He actually walked from behind the counter and followed me to make sure I put it back.

Prices are really reasonable here. Had to leave a review to say how kind and generous the Jinxed staff was with me getting a large piece out of the showroom this week (I reaggravated a knee injury and struggled to find help with transport). They went above and beyond and now I have a BEAUTIFUL Hoosier cabinet in my kitchen.
