We’ve been dining at JINYA Ramen Bar for years — it’s our favorite go-to spot whenever we’re craving ramen. The flavors are always on point, and the vibe is consistently great. During our visit last weekend, I ordered the new Chef’s Special - Birria Ramen (rich, bold, and comforting), my husband ordered the Spicy Umami Miso Ramen (perfect level of heat and deep flavor), and we shared the super refreshing Matcha Lychee Lemonade — a must-have drink! We also enjoyed the Pork Gyoza, which we redeemed for free using our JINYA points (love their rewards program!), and the classic JINYA Bun — soft, savory, and delicious which is also one of our favorites. JINYA never misses. Still our #1 ramen spot!

They don’t take reservations so expect to wait a while. Especially because it’s a small space. They gave us an ETA and it took twice as long. Idk if it was worth the wait. The broth was rich and had good flavor. The biggest highlight = the pork belly was incredibly tender and soft. The service was decent. Overall, good.

Stopped by Jinya Ramen Bar and had a great experience. I ordered their ramen, takoyaki, and edamame, and everything hit the spot. The ramen was rich and flavorful, with a savory broth and perfectly cooked noodles. It was super comforting and satisfying. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and topped just right—definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in Austin. The edamame was a nice light starter, well-seasoned and fresh. Service was quick and friendly, and the vibe of the place is cozy but modern. Great spot if you’re craving Japanese comfort food in The Domain area.

Google
I had a good experience at Jinya Ramen overall. I ordered the Birria Ramen, and it was delicious—flavorful broth with tender meat and just the right amount of spice. The service was decent as well; staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The only downside was the atmosphere. It was a bit too warm inside, likely because the AC wasn’t working very well, which made the dining experience slightly less comfortable. Still, the quality of the food and service more than made up for it.

We tried the Vegan Red Fire Opal Ramen Bowl — the soup had a nice flavor, but it could’ve used more vegetables to balance it out. Overall, it was a good dish. We also had the vegan dumplings; they were decent but could benefit from a bit more seasoning or boldness in flavor.

The food is absolutely delicious. The broth, the noodles, the toppings. - all wonderful! And many options for people with various dietary needs The service is friendly - very accommodating to first-timers

We recently found ourselves browsing The Domain and wanted a nice warm ramen to cap the night off with. So naturally, we ended up at the ever busy JINYA Ramen. We arrived and were quickly seated at the Ramen bar and our orders were taken just as fast. What happened next was quite surprising… We ordered a Tonkotsu Original 2010 and a JINYA Tonkotsu Black. The Tonkotsu Original had enough garlic in it that it would be considered a bioweapon in Transylvania. The smell and taste of garlic was so overwhelming that we quite frankly have no way of justifying it other than it was a bad batch of broth. Either way, that coupled with the very salty chasu meant that the whole dish was not good. The Tonkotsu Black was a bit more redeeming but ironically lacked a bit of flavor. The toppings were just okay and the egg (one of our favorites) was bland. We were incredibly disappointed as we hoped that given the price and location the food would be at the very least average. To put it frankly, our JINYA Ramen experience (at least this location), was propped up by the quick and friendly staff and the nice setting. The food was a complete letdown and we’ve eaten so much ramen over the years that we genuinely mean it. We only recommend that you stop by if you have a blood oath with Count Orlok that you just can’t quite shake.

Google
To be completely honest, ramen is not the first thing I think of when I want to go out for a meal. But I gotta say, Jinya Ramen Bar was a pleasant surprise. It’s a nice place to sit outside, people watch, and get REALLY good food. I had a beer and the spicy tuna tacos. The tacos are tiny, but man, are they good. My family had the ramen bowls, and really enjoyed those as well. Nice place, with good food. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

Yelp
Great location in the domain! We stopped in on a Monday night, there were folks waiting out the door. We were told about 20m wait but were pleasantly surprised with a 10m seat. The restaurant has made the absolute best use of the small space! Nice big sit around bar seating, full table as well as counter seating. Wonderful decoration and lighting. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, so much so that I have already been back twice! We ordered Pork Gyoza (6pc) Edamame Wonton Chicken Ramen Shrimp Wonton Ramen All were superb, you need to go here and order anything-you will not be disappointed. Our experience was great, good food, good service and good value.

Yelp
This is a fun and easy place to have a good time with friends. The drinks are reasonably priced and they have lots of things to choose from on the menu. I will say, this isn't my favorite ramen in Austin, although still very good. JINYA Tonkotsu Original Ramen was rich and flavorful. Spicy Umami Miso Ramen wasn't spicy at all. I wish there was more flavor and toppings for this one. (For both, I didn't love the texture of the noodles and wish it was a tad bit chewier. Maybe personal preference though.) Lycheetini was yummy and cheaper than a lot of cocktails in Austin. Junmai Ginjo: Sho Chiku Bai was great and I would recommend.

Yelp
Came here for lunch as we needed a nice ramen to warm us up on a cold and rainy day. As a first time customer it was nice to see the restaurant pretty packed especially during lunchtime. They offer indoor and covered outdoor seating options and it appeared the high top tables are seated closely together so you may make a new friend! I ordered the JINYA Tonkotsu Black (no additions) and added chili oil on the side...ramen was served in cute bowls, hot, with nice flavors...oh, I asked for no hard boiled egg (I just can't in my ramen). Next time I would add more pork as the pieces you receive are small. My co-worker ordered the Spicy chicken ramen, added broccoli, and she said it was t spicy at all and would order again. Ask for Katie (or Kadie) as your waitress cuz she provided great recommendations, attentive, and really sweet!

Yelp
Jinya Ramen has a sleek, modern vibe, but the atmosphere can feel a bit stuffy, especially during busy hours. The space is relatively small, and the seating arrangement feels cramped, which doesn't make for the most comfortable dining experience. And the service is ok. They seem to get a bit overwhelmed when they are busy. As for the ramen itself, it's... fine. The broth lacks depth and richness, the noodles are average, and the toppings don't quite stand out. While not bad, it's certainly not the kind of ramen you'll be dreaming about later. One thing that stands out is the price. For what you get, it's a little on the steep side. Austin has plenty of better ramen options at more reasonable prices, so unless you're in the area and craving ramen, this one might not be worth the splurge. Overall, Jinya is okay, but it doesn't quite justify the cost or the somewhat stifling atmosphere.

Yelp
We orders red ophir and vegan spicy tofu noodles with aldante!! I enjoyed the flavor and the texture and everything! Keep up the good work and service!

Yelp
Ordered vegan menus here! Good food, it was just in a bit of a greasy side for my liking. Service was good too, we didn't have to wait a long line to get in.

Yelp
I got the black garlic ramen last Friday night and it was delicious! The char siu was melt in your mouth and the marinated egg was cooked perfectly! It was also quite a bit of food, i actually took half of it home for a late night snack! The broth was rich without being overly salty. It was a bit on the oily side but I did not mind. My order came out less than 5 minutes after I put the order in and the service was fast and courteous. No complaints from me! I don't live in austin but would absolutely come back to jinya if I am in town and craving ramen!

Yelp
I am a huge ramen connoisseur and am on a mission to find the best ramen in Austin. Although I don't think Jinya takes that title, their ramen is pretty damn good. Their menu includes numerous pork, chicken, and vegetarian/vegan options, making it a great option for all eaters. The broth is flavorful and the meat is tender. Service is great and the location is in a very popular area. My one qualm with Jinya is that one bowl of ramen costs upwards of $24. While I thought the food was good, I'm not quite sure it's worth that much. Overall, a good experience

Yelp
We visited this location on a Friday around 7p and waited almost an hour for a table. It was so crowded in there and it is a pretty small space. We ordered the below: -Jinya Chicken Ramen 5.5/10 -Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen 8/10 -Iced green tea Overall, prices are high for what you get. Definitely not worth returning.

Yelp
Some of the best ramen I've had! I was recommended the Tonkotsu Black by a friend and then had to return to try the Premium Tonkotsu Red with a level 5 spice which were both delicious and perfect! Restaurant was comfortable and I loved the bowl they served in. So much that wanted to buy one but unfortunately they weren't for sale lol. Service on the main floor and at the bar was great. Both times servers were attentive and friendly and got our orders out quick.

Yelp
I've heard great things about Jinya ramen and tried it for their chicken broth! While the meal was pretty good, it wasn't the best ramen I've had and something felt lacking. Perhaps some more flavor in the broth would have made this ramen more exciting! When we finished the ramen, the bottom of the bowl said "no ramen, no life" which was cute. I loved the chicken karaage. In addition to the soy dipping sauce, it came with a yuzu sauce. Perfectly crispy too. I would come back to Jinya since I'm a ramen fiend. While not my first choice for ramen, it was a good meal and convenient option in the domain!

Yelp
I haven't been to Jinya in almost 2 years and it maybe 2 more before I go back. Our waitress was nice and checked on us regularly but I wasn't impressed with my ramen. It lacked flavor. The restaurant was clean and the green tea and edamame were good.

Yelp
JINYA Ramen has a nice vibe to it. We came in with a party of 6. They play really good music and also has an outdoor dining area. Our server was pretty nice and attentive. She answered all of our questions. The food was pretty great! My friends enjoyed their tonkatsu ramen. They said it was flavorful and plentiful. I got the chef's special. It was really great, and I asked the waiter for a spicy sauce. After adding it the spice, it was perfect. Definitely recommend coming here. Feels pretty trendy. We were on the list for 25 minutes, but we only waited about 5 on a Friday night.

Yelp
Nice spot near Lavaca bar! The bartender attended to me quickly & the ramen noodles soup was so good. It obviously a gem as the wait time for table was 40 min the day I was there. It is a small restaurant but high demand. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Delicious food! Great atmosphere! Super polite and welcoming staff! Went here for an afternoon date and really enjoyed our time! We both had the Tonkotsu Black Ramen and a Jinya Bun.

Yelp
Ok, before I start with the review. I understand I'm giving this a 4 star review but not to steer you all away. I was super hyped to try Jinya for the first time since I've seen many locations around the US and have heard good things about it. The service was top tier, super friendly staff and our waitress was amazing. Don't want the review to take away from this at all. The reasons for the 3 star and maybe I'm rating this or approaching it differently than some of you may be thinking were due to these little minor things: 1) The area was clean for the most part but for some reason had a slight smell of like dirty water or something pungent that my girlfriend and I noticed right away. Maybe it was a fluke and isn't that way all the time but just details we noticed. 2) It looks very nice inside but seating can be a little crowded depending on the amount of folks inside. Not a small space but some tables can feel crowded. Not a huge deal here though. 3) The biggest reason why this is getting 3 stars in my eyes. The food. It was just ok. Like literally nothing spectacular but nothing terrible. It was good but not good enough for me to choose over other ramen places in the Austin area. I won't name competition here out of respect of course. They do give a good portion of the protein choice you get but the broth was decent and the noodles were okay too. Again, not bad but just expected a bit more due to the hype I had heard and the location being at the domain gives set the bar higher in my mind. Pork bun was decent as well! Overall not a bad place to come to. Area is nice, the food is good to enjoy with company as well. I'd come back for sure but only if I'm already walking around the domain.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a few coworkers. No wait time at all around 5pm and plenty of seating inside as well as some outdoor seating. Very intimate restaurant. The seating is more family style. There is one big table for seating. Also, a few smaller tables that are separate on the side. Staff was very friendly. Seems like the whole staff greets you when you come in and when you leave! Plenty of options for meat lovers, vegans/vegetarians, ramen lovers, and also a few options if you're not in the mood for ramen! I tried the vegan impossible rice bowl which was great! Great serving size and great flavor. I also tried one of their summer drinks, the watermelon refresher, which was just as tasty as the food. Quick service and delicious food! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
3.5-4 stars The ramen was good! Definitely worth a try. Not the best ramen ever. Wish the spicy umami miso ramen had a bit more spice to it, was craving something with a bit more oomph lol. We also got the spicy chicken ramen, mild level, would recommend going up at least one level if you really like heat. Patio was a nice vibe, great for people watching. Loved how the tables were spaced out, too. Not bad!

Yelp
I've been here so many times and I would say their quality is pretty consistent. Not the best ramen in town but definitely a safe choice. Good vibe, always got seated quickly and servers are very attentive. Their menu expanded too, so many more food options now aside from ramens. My husband and I would come here often if we need to do a quick dinner date and can't decide what to eat. Parking is easy right across the street.

Yelp
I've had Jinya a few times in Houston, but this was my first time visiting this location. My family had never tried ramen so I figured Jinya would be a great place for their first experience. Since it's in the Domain (Northside), it can be a bit of a hassle to get there. We found street parking, but there is a parking garage nearby (I believe it's free). I tried to get on the waitlist ahead of time, but the link on the website wouldn't work. When we arrived, we were told it would be about 30-40 minutes. They texted a link to the waitlist so I was able to track our place in line. I think we ended up waiting about 25 minutes before we were able to sit. You have 5 minutes once they text you or else you forfeit your spot. The waiting area is small, but they do have a few chairs. We opted to sit inside but they do have covered patio seating as well. Our server was Bao. He was nice and did a good job, especially since he was hustling to keep up with his tables during the Saturday night dinner rush. I started with a Lycheetini. It was good, but it's wine based because the bar at this location only serves wine and beer. I was disappointed by this because I was hoping to get a cucumber martini. For my meal I ordered the Jinya Chicken Ramen and Brussels Sprouts Tempura. I've had both before and it's so delicious! I love the dipping sauce for the Brussels! The thing I love about ramen is that the flavor of the broth intensifies the next day. I had plenty for leftovers and it was so yummy! My family ordered the Jinya Quinoa Salad, the Jinya Bun, the Spicy Chicken Ramen, and the Jinya Chicken Ramen. I encouraged them to add a boiled egg to their ramen and they loved it. My stepdad ate his ramen and then joked that he wanted to order another one so I know he really liked his meal. I'm happy they were finally able to try Jinya!

Yelp
Let's talk about the fried chicken... the Jinya fried chicken keeps me coming back. I never expected to be dipping juicy fried chicken thighs into soup, but somehow it works and it's absolutely delicious. Every time I go to Jinya, I order the same exact thing - Jinya Tonkotsu Black and crispy chicken (I skip the topping and get a whole plate of it). In Houston, Jinya was my go-to ramen place and now that I moved to Austin, I had high expectations for this meal. But - the fried chicken was not the same! The difference is in the little details, of the seasoned egg being broken, the napkin being dirty, not being greeted with an enthusiastic "Irasshaimase!" by the whole staff. This Jinya location can make some improvements. What did meet my expectations was the seasoning of the pork broth, so flavorful and rich. I do recommend you visit and take this recommendation of Jinya Tonkotsu Black and crispy chicken (10 piece plate).

Yelp
My friend & I came in that night 12/16 for some good food. Plus we haven't had Jinya in a very long time. Its close enough to a lot of parking so chose to eat here. There wasn't many people at the time I got seats, around 5pm or so. I loved how accommodating the patio was. I got us seats first and waited probably 6 minute while they cleaned the table. I was seated after they had cleaned. A waiter came up to me almost immediately and handed me 2 menus and asked if I'd like drinks. I ordered 2 waters, while waiting for said friend to come. The menu is quite extensive - rice dishes, appetizers, sake, beer and other alcoholic drinks, ramen (there's several types), combos.. no lack of options to choose from. Food is very consistent. I usually order jinya ramen black because if the flavor and it has mostly everything I want in there. Within I'd say 15 minutes of ordering they brought us our food! Very quick and delicious service. Temperature that day was a little chilly but they lowered the rain/waterproof coverings so heat wold stay inside patio and cold was kept out. It was good environment to hangout and relax for a couple hours. Overall nice ambience. Delicious food Great service. Would totally come here again.

Yelp
Drove 30 minutes on new year day to come with 2 people for lunch. The restaurant completely ignored because we not dressing fancy. Checked in before a group of 4 fancy people but the host walked them in first to the table while we were still waiting. After that, she came outside and walked us in to the high table, while throwing the menus on that high table. Not even ask us if we want this high table or willing to wait for a normal table. While we were walking in, the old female server stopped us and asked us to step outside because we were walking in by "ourselves", because the host is busy chatting with other servers. Completely ignored when we were trying to say we already checked in with the host. Chasing us just like homeless. We dressed normally (jeans and t shirt/ dress). Please do not judge a book by a cover. Thank you and happy new year. Never come back here again.

Yelp
Have been going to Jinya for years and it's still my favorite Ramen place in Austin. Great atmosphere and very consistent ramen! They have a rotating menu which is cool so you can branch out and try something new, but they also keep the "OGs" on the menu so you can get your comfort ramen.
google avatar

Riya S.

Yelp
I ordered the vegan ramen and it was delicious, The broth tastes like it's been simmered for hours and it's so creamy and has so much depth of flavor. I don't usually like silken tofu, but it pairs perfectly with the slightly spicy broth. Only critique is the portion is a bit small for the price, as it's more on the expensive side for ramen, especially considering that there's no meat. The restaurant itself is nice, although a bit small and crowded. Service was decent.
google avatar

Anisya N.

Yelp
This was my first time trying ramen and I'm so glad to have started off with Jinya! I got the spicy creamy vegan ramen and absolutely loved it. The flavors were so complex: a combination of tangy, creamy and an extra umami. I loved how well the crispy onions and spinach paired together with the soft noodles. I will say, the broth can be a little hard to have in one go so I'd recommend having it in between noodles. I ended up adding a chili sauce into mine because after a point I was bored of it. I also didn't find the tofu to add anything since it was plain and didn't really soak in any flavor- but this could just be typical of ramen. Seating is pretty limited but the atmosphere is nice, service is fast and you're paying typical domain prices. Definitely a must try from my end!

Yelp
This was a great place to come but I took two stars away for the wait and the service. We came here as a party of 4 on a Saturday night and waited an hour. The food made it worth the wait but the service was very sub par. We ordered appetizers which came fast. We waited about fifteen minutes for the ramen. Our server completely forgot our drinks and I had to remind him after we got our ramen. When I go out to eat, I am used to the drinks coming first not last lol. Parking was easy to find since there was a parking garage across from the place. Aside from our server forgetting our drinks and forgetting us I would return because the ramen was delicious as were the appetizers. The ambiance was nice, it was very busy but then again it was a Saturday night. Perhaps I will try to come back here for happy hour or something!

Yelp
Went here for dinner on my trip to Austin. This is located in the Domain a nice shopping, eating , partying and hanging out place. I started with a refreshing, nonalcoholic watermelon drink. It was great and not too sweet. We had some impossible meat Gyoza dumplings which were delicious. You couldn't tell it was plant based meat. I had the shrimp and pork wonton ramen. It was really good. I added a little chili oil and siracha to give it a little kick. I really enjoyed it and was stuffed when I left. It's a cute spot for a meal. The service was fast and the staff was friendly!
google avatar

Carson C.

Yelp
Honestly, not my favorite. Service was good, but the broth felt "from a packet". If you've had a $.10 ramen, you understand. Wife and I had the Black tonkatsu Ramen. Not sure if that screams basic, but 4/10.
google avatar

Johnny L.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday evening around 6pm and there's no wait at all. Love the ambiance and music here! Lively atmosphere with some great music selection. What I got- Spicy chicken ramen The chicken is tender and noodle is soft. I wish the noodles was a tad bit firmer. The soup is at a good level in terms of saltiness but it definitely lacks any flavor or depth. Added corn and seasoned egg for toppings but the corn was not sweet at all and egg was very runny. At 3 bucks a pop for each topping I expected better. The portion is very filling but I can't say I was satisfied. In my opinion it's quite pricey for the quality of the ramen and it's ingredients.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Since it's located in the Domain, there is always ample parking which is always a plus! We sat on the patio which was nice. The staff was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. I had the Spicy Chicken Ramen. I was getting over a cold so I got it mild (I know, it doesn't make much sense to get something spicy with no spice). It had a good flavor, but wasn't life changing. I thought it was a little pricey for the amount of food received. You had to pay quite a bit more for any extras. Since my taste buds weren't top notch when I came here I wouldn't mind trying it again. However, as of right now I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Yelp
Traditionalist may claim that true ramen can only be made with fish, pork, or chicken, but JINYA Ramen Bar is out there proving them all wrong. For an omnivore restaurant that otherwise sticks pretty close to the classics, they have a stunning array of fully vegan options, each one every bit as thoughtfully curated, cooked, and composed. Shattering the notion that plant-based will only be second best, these full-on flavor bombs are honestly the best bowls of ramen I've had in years. Case in point, the Flying Vegan Harvest. Starting with thick, chewy noodles at the heart of this bowl, my dining partner in crime questioned suspiciously, "Are you sure these aren't egg noodles?" If not for having "VEGAN" right in the title, I might be more concerned, too. They swim languidly in a savory miso broth crowned by umami Impossible meat and silky tofu cubes. Charred broccolini, bean sprouts, and corn complete the meal with veggies even haters will crave, all tied together with crispy garlic and touch of chili oil. There's also the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, and typically one rotating seasonal special for plant-based eaters, too. Of course, you can't go without ordering a round of Impossible Gyoza, which may have been my favorite part of the whole meal, closely tied with the Tempura Brussels Sprouts. Vegan options are clearly marked, and better yet, staff are all highly knowledgeable about what can and can't be modified to follow suit. You'll have a giant bowlful of comfort lightning fast, but I promise you'll want to stay a while.

Yelp
Updating because I've been back and I haven't been impressed. The service has been pretty fast and solid both times, but the food is not very good and the prices are ridiculous for the quantity. This restaurant seems to have gone downhill. Also, the chicken that comes with the spicy chicken ramen doesn't seem very good quality and it seems like the menu prices nickel and dime for toppings. You're better off going to another ramen spot- the prices and food are much better.

D U.

Yelp
Don't wait in line. This place benefits from the popularity of the food category and location. The service and food are really a solid 3 with prices that reflect that of a 4-5 star rating. To each his own....

Yelp
We really liked the food at Jinya ramen! We started off with edamame and each got a bowl of ramen. Their selection of beer was also good. I tried the spicy creamy vegan ramen and the broth was so yummy. I'd recommend getting a seasoned egg if you like to add that soft yolk. My husband and friend got the chicken and jinya black and they both really liked it. Service was prompt and they gave us enough time to order. Food came out within 15 min. The ambiance is dark with an Asian influence and their patio is nice on a spring evening.

Yelp
I used to goto Jinya Ramen Bar in Houston and it was my favorite ramen restaurant. The overwhelming garlic savoriness and thin noodles was a 10/10, but unfortunately Jinya Austin does not match this by any extent. We ordered the Seaweed Salad which came out frozen and led to a disappointing start. The Chicken Kaarage was good and we got the Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Original. Both seemed underwhelming in terms of the broth balance (overly fatty) and the noodles also seemed a little undercooked relative to usual. Thankfully they still come with free garlic and a crusher upon demand but overall underwhelming. Service was fine but not particularly notable either good or bad. Ambiance was also a bit underwhelming - it felt a bit stale like any other restaurant in the Domain and didn't have anything stand out to enhance the ramen experience. I'd rank Jinya as outside a #4 - 5 option (behind Tatsuya, Marafuku, and Musashino).

Yelp
Baby it's cold outside so I gotta get meself a bowl of piping hot ramen :) The vegan creamy spicy ramen was really delicious and soothing on a very cold day. The spice level was perfect and it comes with a side of hot sauce if you want to make it spicier. Glad I got the ramen as takeout (was ready in less than 10 minutes) as the seating inside is limited and wait times can be long during the weekend. There's a fairly nice bar area that serves various drinks, cocktails and sake.

Yelp
Austin is huge on ramen so here comes another review. Jinya ramen, located on domain definitely comes in that list. 45 mins of wait time for a weekend dinner. Close to the domain parking lot so not of walking needed. Liked the spicy level of ramen, it was perfect for me. My husband although missed having the option of spice bomb on the side like other ramen places. We also found the portion size to be little less than other places as we were able to finish it very easily. 3 options for vegetarian/vegan so that's good. I got spicy cream vegan ramen with kale noodles. My husband got vegan red fire opal with standard thick noodles. Kale noodles were definitely a winner between these two. Less veggies as compare to other places. Both ramen were tofu based and not that spicy. Printed napkins with Jinya name and logo. Interesting fact: when I tried to Google the logo - it gave me a translation of 'array' and said it belonged to language Hausa, not sure if that's true. Word 'jinya' translates as 'Nursing'.

Yelp
I came to Jinya with a group of friends. There was a wait time, but we were finally able to get a table to accommodate all of us. Jinya has many vegan friendly options, so that was good since many from my group were vegans. The server was very helpful with recommendations. We had Takoyaki and the Spicy Chicken Ramen, overall the food was average. The Takoyaki had a different texture, which wasn't alluring to me, and the ramen, though highly recommended, wasn't up to the mark.

Yelp
I loved the food here! I got two orders of mini tacos and a bun (all either pescatarian or vegetarian). It was a cool place with a bar by the chefs and also sit-down tables. It was busy! The service was good enough, not notable, although I like how everyone greets you in another language when you walk into the dining room! It's fun & reminds me of Nobu. Although this place is super casual, which is what I wanted on my first night living in Austin :)

Yelp
Today we had Cham as our server and she is amazing too! She was very cheerful and kind! We enjoyed sitting outside on patio. We enjoyed our Ramen and edamame! The entire experience has been great twice now! We love coming here! Cham went out of her way to think ahead. She got me more Diet Coke before I had to ask! She was great! The food was great! The wait time was maybe 5-7 minutes! We will be back!

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite ramen bar. The staff is always friendly, they're quick to serve, and I'm usually seated easily and quickly. The food never lacks in quality, and I always look forward to my next visit. My favorite thing here is the crispy chicken appetizer. I frequently order it to put in my ramen. You should try it.

Yelp
Located in the Domain, came in at noon on a cold day for some warm ramen. The wait was about 20 minutes so I ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender was attentive and the atmosphere was active. Here's what I had: Tonkotsu spicy- good broth and but little meat and the presentation was just ok. If you're looking for Ramen in the domain, it will do but there's a lot better in Austin.

Yelp
I just picked up my takeout order of Spicy Creamy Vegan ramen and considering I've paid almost $20 dollars for it I'm so disappointed to receive such a meager portion. You guys need to sort out your portion sizes!

Yelp
I'm a lover of ramen and so is my fiancé. I spent 6 months in Japan back in 2016, and fell in love with the dish. We came here on a recommendation with high expectations. The Gyoza was spectacular. Great dumplings, great sear and the filing was juicy---after that it went downhill. The Takoyaki (one of my favorites) was underdone in the middle, full of wet batter, in combination with all the sauces they serve it with it jut became a really unpleasant wet mushy texture. Additionally the batter was bland and flavorless. The ramen itself was also flavorless. I got the Jinya Tonkotsu Black--the broth was basically salt and nothing else. The pork was nicely cooked, but again flavorless. The only good part of the dish was the egg. My fiancé got the spicy ramen. Her noodles were really undercooked, chewy, and clumped together. The broth had some spice to it, but lacked salt, acid, and umami--pretty much anything else. I paid $20 a bowl for ramen that was worse than what I could have made out of a $2 package. I will say however, the only thing saving this review from being worse, is the excellent service we received. Our Server Kate was hands down one of the best servers I've had at a restaurant. She and she alone made the experience tolerable.

Yelp
Service was a little slow. We had to wait awhile just to get water. I ordered the Tonkatsu ramen as it comes, but ended up picking all of the spinach out because it was so bitter. They put an entire egg in the ramen, rather than a half which is what I am used to, and it was very tricky to eat. Cutting it in half before putting it in bowl would have made such a difference.
