As a fan of Korean food, visiting the Jajangmyeon Museum in Incheon was such a fun and fascinating experience. Dedicated to Korea’s beloved black bean noodles, the museum takes you through the dish’s origins in Chinatown and how it became one of the country’s most iconic comfort foods. From old kitchen tools and recreated restaurant settings to displays about the cultural history of jajangmyeon, it was a quirky but genuinely interesting way to learn more about the food I’ve eaten so many times. Of course, the highlight was seeing how deeply this humble noodle dish is woven into everyday Korean life, from old movies to family gatherings. It’s a small museum, so you don’t need a lot of time to explore, but it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re already visiting Incheon Chinatown. And honestly, nothing beats finishing up the visit by walking out into the nearby streets and sitting down to a steaming bowl of jajangmyeon right where the dish was born.

Two storey small museum. Not much to see. Entrance fee is 1000 won. Less than 30 min stay time.

Quaint museum on the history of Jajangmyeong (or in Chinese Zha Jiang Mian) and how it came to Korea and developed into its own unique Korean staple. Takes 30mins to view and costs 1000won

I started to like jiajangmyeon thanks to seeing eat it at the K-drama. Jiajangmyeom dragged me into the K-drama world. I'm surprised that ""moving jiajangmyeon are eaten after moving into a new house.(just like Japanese custom)"" quite interesting museum for all you jiajangmyon lover.

A small museum to showcase the history of Chinese noodles in Korea, jajang noodles. Quite interesting place to spend your time here, especially it is located in the korea Chinatown area.

I love noodles so this museum was amazing to me. It's got some history, some stories, videos to teach you how to make jajangmyeon. And all for a very affordable entrance fee! But again, I love noodles so I could be biased. Haha

Pay 1000 won to enter, explore the history of jjajangmyung... very simple museum, don't expect a lot. Can do the entire self tour in 5 minutes if you walk fast and if you read the stuff, give yourself around 30 minutes :)

Small but informative place to visit. Ticket at 1000won per pax is affordable too.
