Jjamppong

The name presents its pride in taste for the one meal, Jjamppong. It is definitely one of the most delicious 짬뽕 in Calgary. If you like spicy seafood soup, you should definitely try it. For the 탕수육, we enjoyed that it’s tender rather than hard compared to the other places. I like both of them and am glad this restaurant has different styles than others that I can enjoy both depending on my craving. Servers were friendly, and food was served in a timely manner. Just one feedback for the owners: both my spouse and I felt that it would be better if the disposable wooden chopsticks were a bit on the longer side to enjoy the delicious food better.

Okay, this is the best Korean restaurant ever! Like seriously. The noodles hmmmmm. Who would ever know my son that is super picky loved the black bean noodles. So now we order the half and half. The sweet,spicy and sour pork is the bomb (M2), it’s super good and super spicy. You should also try their soy sauce chicken. You’ll just never find it anywhere else. On top of that, customer service is just to the next level. Anyways, if you need a Korean go to restaurant try this one

I’ve visited Jjamppong many times and went back recently, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. It’s one of the best spots in Calgary for Korean-style Chinese food. The combo menu is always a great value with generous portions, so it’s my go-to choice. I also tried the new shrimp dumplings and they were crispy and tasty.

I ordered jajangmyeon, white jjamppong, jjamppong, sweet and sour pork, and kkanpung shrimp and ate out at a Korean restaurant with my family after a long time. All the food was delicious, but I was a little disappointed because I expected white jjamppong so much. I should order back jjamppong again when I visit next time. The parking space is large and the staff is kind, so I think I will go back with my family next time.

Back again having dinner at Jjamppong, one of our favorite Korean noodle restaurants. Very delicious dishes that we enjoyed a lot. Ordered the classic Spicy Noodles and Black bean noodles dish along with the popular Fried Pork with sweet and sour sauce. Friendly staff and fast service. If you want to try the popular fried pork with sweet and sour sauce, I do recommend to eat in instead of take out (if possible). We tried take out a few times with the Fried pork dish, but nothing like dining in when we can taste the freshly made fried pork …. You will know what I mean for the dining in fried pork. Highly recommended!

Better than any Korean Chinese restaurant Ive tried in Korea. So delicious and always consistent.

The food here is really tasty, service was great and the amount you get is for an amazing price! I really enjoyed the black bean noodles. Will be back!

I LOVE the seafood noodles jjamppong here!! Noodles were chewy and broth was divine!! We got the set menu of black bean noodle/jjamppong/ fried chicken. Everything was simply divine!! I ate so fast i forgot to take pictures. Will definitely be returning!
