JNcQUOI Beach Club Restaurant

The place had this calm, effortless vibe — my friend called it the quiet luxury of Comporta, and it couldn’t be more true. Everything felt perfectly balanced: the setting, the sound of the ocean, the food. Each dish was incredible — the kind of flavor and quality you only get in a place that really cares. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but completely worth it. The service was flawless too — friendly, attentive, and never over the top.

We had lunch here a couple of days ago. Have to say all the food was superb, and the cocktails to begin with were also a highlight. Windows and fans on in the lower area kept a lovely temperature and breeze flowing making it all very comfortable. The views down the beach really are out of this world too. Sadly the one negative would be they could improve on their service. They have a great range and quantity of staff, some of which were amazing but a couple let the team down. This would be fine but when charging the amount they do this detail matters. Must say the majority of the staff were wonderfully kind and attentive. I had the prawns and oysters to begin and then the lobster and rice broth. Both were great and I also tried the tuna tartare which I must say was outstanding. Food was faultless, and packed with delicate flavours and excellently presented. We spent a good few hours here and really enjoyed our time.

Top highlights are the view and high-end vibe. Similar to their other restaurants… carefully curated decor, clientele, and atmosphere. Feels high-end with a clubby vibe. Location and view are fantastic, highly recommend. Food was good, particularly the Prawn Paella, Picanha, and Chocolate Plaisir. But other food items were average. Very high prices for ‘average’ items brings down the overall experience. Service was also very slow and not matching of the high end restaurant. Need to ask 2-3 times to get water, etc. Friendly staff, but not operating at level of high-end place. Felt like a lot of staff, but not well organized and missing a manager orchestrating. Restaurant, decor and music were all on point. However would be nice to have better ventilation with windows with screens to allow for breeze without mosquitoes. Overall, recommend for a high-end dinner out or clubby cocktails - but overpriced for quality of food and service..

Amazing experience at JNcQUOI Beach Club! The food was absolutely delicious — from the Lobster Hot Dog and the Pil Pil Codfish Paella to the famous Shark’s Drool, an absolute must-try. The stunning sea view, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere made it a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended!

The location is ideal and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The food is truly delicious, but unfortunately the service doesn’t match the quality of the cuisine. It’s very slow, and at times orders were forgotten or mixed up. It’s a pity, because with such a stunning setting and amazing food, the overall experience could be exceptional.

fabulous. The food. the location. the staff. faultless. The scarlet shrimp rice dish was so good we are talking about it days later. Worth every penny for a memorable meal.

Terrible service and atmosphere. We arrived and the staff member Joao C. was immediately unwelcoming and unfriendly. We asked if there was sunbeds. What followed was a preaching education class about the specific dates in Portugal the summer season starts and ends. Okay, who cares? Just say no. Then there was no insistence in getting us in the door. I had to keep asking "Okay can we eat here?" until another female (and Brazilian of course) staff member helped us and said "of course" and brought us in. Sitting at the beach when the food arrived wasps attacked it instantly. Obviously a common problem so it makes sense to set up a wasp trap. Or at least come help us while we're getting attacked 😂 None of that. Complete disinterest. I asked Joao if we could move inside. He said "imposivel, reservado" as in impossible, everything is reserved. I pointed at a clear table and suggested we could move there. Joao shrugged and sighed. With much effort we made them move our food indoors A total disinterest from Joao to do his job. The bill? €214.50 of which 40€ in gratuity and couvert (cover charge) 😂 It's a joke to pay these prices for the service you get. They should learn from the other JNcQUOI in Comporta how to operate a restaurant or the ones in Lisbon that are really good. 1/10

Amazing atmosphere and perfect sunset view. The service is great and the architecture of the place is stunning. We had a wonderful time there. Can’t rate the food because we were there just for a drink to watch the sunset
