Top highlights are the view and high-end vibe. Similar to their other restaurants… carefully curated decor, clientele, and atmosphere. Feels high-end with a clubby vibe. Location and view are fantastic, highly recommend. Food was good, particularly the Prawn Paella, Picanha, and Chocolate Plaisir. But other food items were average. Very high prices for ‘average’ items brings down the overall experience. Service was also very slow and not matching of the high end restaurant. Need to ask 2-3 times to get water, etc. Friendly staff, but not operating at level of high-end place. Felt like a lot of staff, but not well organized and missing a manager orchestrating. Restaurant, decor and music were all on point. However would be nice to have better ventilation with windows with screens to allow for breeze without mosquitoes. Overall, recommend for a high-end dinner out or clubby cocktails - but overpriced for quality of food and service.

What you would expect from the JNCQUOI group but at the beach! Perfect location right on the beach with lovely decor in line with the surroundings. The staff is nice but there is space for improving when compared to other restaurants of the group. The food was delicious and perfectly presented! A must if you are around Pego Beach!

Everything is perfect. Food delicious. Decoration beautiful. Staff discreet, kind and polite. Breathtaking view and surroundings. It's expensive, but it's worth it every penny. Highly recommended. EDIT: Back to JNcQUOI Comporta this year again, and the experience was not the same. The quality of food is the same, but not the service. In my last experience, the staff was around us, but so discreet, almost invisible, but there. This year, I heard a Brazilian girl shouting the menu to a long table, right next to us, and it was like that all lunch. Also, last year, it was a lady in the toilet cleaning (has just 2 WC for such a big restaurant), and this year it wasn't so the toilet was dirty, wet, and messy with paper all over. The windows were so dirty that we barely couldn't see outside. The class and quality of JNCQUOI Comporta dropped significantly. It's still great, but not exceptional. What a shame.

2 starters and a side dish, tempura, burata, and thick fries, super tasty! The view was also nice. But 34 Euro for 4 small tempura’s? Common 😂 Then at least serve 8 pieces, far to expensive. Then we had a cappuccino and a shared cheese cake outside with an amazing view…. 😍 About the cheese cake….. we had better ones during our Portugal tour to be honest 😉 Service was good, friendly staff. Atmosphere was good. Total price 128 euro 🤩

Nice location by the beach. With a view, if you are lucky to get given a table with a view. Food was excellent. The service nice but very slow. It took 45’ to get the main after our starters. The cost is extortionate and not justified. 35 euro for a starter of tuna tartare. Toilets are not sufficient having just two cubicle for the whole restaurant. Mosquitos infesting the place. Had to spray myself of insect repellent. If it wasn’t for the good food i would have rated a 1 or a 2. >250 euro for 2. One starter, one main and one prosecco bottle.

The food and service were very good. A bit of music would have helped the atmosphere. The outdoor terrace has a lovely view of the beach. We had tuna crudo, ceviche, prawn carpaccio, prawn and cuttlefish paella, oysters, and lobster pasta. The fresh tuna, ceviche and prawn carpaccio were delicious and fresh. The paella and lobster pasta were very flavoursome.

The view and location are absolutely unique and beautiful - almost magical. For the exclusivity of the location, I not only expected high prices, but also a high standard of service. However, the service was obviously lacking training (struggled to open wine bottle) and understanding of Western eating habits (timing of serving wine and food, in our case, food was served first and then the wine, so I had to let go back the food). In addition, the service was extremely slow, although the number of waiters seemed to be more than enough. Many details were neglected, such as e.g. toilet paper not being refilled etc. I understand that high prices can be justified for such an outstanding location and exclusivity, but the quality of service was very bad. Sorry for the nice location and the excellent work of kitchan staff. Last but not least: there was no kids menu at all.
