Joan + Joe Coffee

I’m a Dallas native and In town visiting family. Picked up myself a Perfect Mocha..iced coffee. Joan + Joe didn’t disappoint! Great atmosphere/service and great coffee. Keep up the great work!!

It’s easy to miss, just watch out the sign. No tables (didn’t check backyard), just grab n go. Staff were friendly and the kitchen looked neat.

Amazing coffee flavors! I'm also partial to the way they make their coffee because it prevents the hot lattes from being so hot you can't enjoy it right away. We enjoyed the Bacon Jam and French Ham croissant sandwiches as well. The French Ham was our favorite because the level of flavor was exquisite and unexpected. We'll definitely be back to try all the other flavors 😍

Undoubtedly the best croissant my wife and I have ever had. Perfect flake, buttery flavor, and good chew. We opted for an Iced Joan and a banana mocha drink which were both exceptional, not too much sweetness or bitterness. The service was also impeccable, quick and friendly. 11/10 would recommend for any avid coffee enjoyer or pastry enthusiasts. (Side note: I think the whipped cream is homemade which is amazing!)

Came here a couple times for coffee and a quick breakfast on our girls trip visiting the area! Service was so kind and friendly, coffee drinks quite delicious, and breakfast items that hit the spot just right! Make sure you add this to your list if you are driving through the area, and if you live in the area already, be sure to stop in and support this cute local business!

Nice little coffee shop at a converted house off Rt 115 in Charles Town, WV. Not far from the intersection with Rt 340. Joan + Joe coffee is a quaint little place with very friendly staff and great flavored coffee. My cappuccino was well made and they even give you a chocolate covered espresso bean on top. Wife menu, with sandwiches as well. There is plenty of parking in the rear. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Coffee Shop No. 392 Joan+Joe Coffee Shop Charles Town, WV July 26, 2024 Joan + Joe Coffee is absolutely heavenly (I’ve never described a coffee shop like this before). It’s located in a small house off of Charles Town Road. Parking is behind the house. You walk through the front door of the house and right into a waiting area. There are no inside tables, but there are picnic tables and porta potties in the backyard of the house (behind all the parked cars). Typically I do not order food when I am coffee shop hopping, but the menu had a sandwich called Bacon Jam Turkey Deli Delight with a description that read, “There is no equal.” Any sandwich with bacon jam and a description like that CANNOT be turned down. It was the best sandwich I have devoured in quite a while. I was pleasantly surprised to see a little chocolate covered coffee bean sitting on the lid of my cup when I was handed my cortado. The unexpected gesture put a big smile on my face. The best part of the experience was the cortado; perfect temperature and ratio. Walking out of the shop I noticed Joan + Joe Coffee was named the Best Shop in West Virginia for 2023 by the WV Living Magazine. They definitely earned the title Best Coffee House.

Really awesome place they do essentially "coffee growlers" where if you buy a glass container you can continuously come back to pay for refills. They also have food options including flat breads. Saw that they are working on extending to building beside of them also. 10/10 highly recommend for coffee lovers, I tried a special with bacon!

Stopped by for a quick pick me up, decided on one of the specials that caught my eye! I selected the iced raspberry vanilla latte which was topped with whipped cream and heart sprinkles. SO cute for Valentine's day! The drink was sweet but so tasty! This little cafe is one of my favorites.

What a fantastic spot, that we discovered thanks to yelp. The coffee was awesome, my iced coffee was flavorful, rich and gave me the jolt I needed. And the breakfast sandwiches were spectacular. We had a turkey sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant as well as a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and they were fantastic. Love the croissant rolls, perfectly light and flaky yet firm enough to hold up to a hearty breakfast sandwich. 10 out of 10 this place is a must.

My favorite local coffee shop! I love the extra added touch of a chocolate covered espresso bean with your hot coffee order. The food is also delicious. Best almond croissant around!

The coffee is the best you can find around here. The egg & bacon croissant was incredible! I would not recommend the strawberry lemonade.. it didn't have the lemonade taste. There's no seating, but if they had seating it would be 5 stars.

Great coffee, great food and exceptional service. I enjoy supporting local small businesses and this one is my hand down favorite in Charles Town.

Was visiting the area for a week and came here for breakfast at least 4 times. Owners and staff are super friendly. Food and coffee are fantastic. Really glad I stumbled across it.

Exactly what I needed to start my day! Banana nut muffin and a delicious mocha coffee. The entire menu looked delicious. Parking in the back was very easy. Nice walk-up spot. This is not a "wfh cafe" stop so don't plan to sit here for the entire day. Super friendly staff. Other Yelp reviews were accurate and encouraged me to visit! Glad it paid off.

This place has THE BEST SANDWICH I've ever had: French Ham + Cheese on Croissant. It's even better when you add an egg. So delicious!

One of the owners (I'm assuming Joe) was behind the counter when we came in and gave us all a smile and an apology for our short wait. I had an espresso and a turkey sausage, egg and cheese croissant - literally the best crossaint-wich I've even had; perfect size and price without leaving the digits greasy. The complimentary chocolate-covered coffee bean was perfect after all of that. He also offered us complimentary waters while we waited, which he called "the best in the county"...he wasn't kidding: really good. Great little mom-n-pop coffee shop - worth passing by.

So many options of drinks to choose from! I was recommended The Bacon Jam and it was pretty good.

I just started coming here last week and it is the best coffee in charles town! The inside is beautiful it's a little small but they make it comfortable! Definitely my new spot.
