Mostly, i enjoyed my stay and would recommended, the room was small, but good enough to sleep. Besides being a little far from touristic places, it's very close from a metro station My main critic would be that the cleaning could better, specially showers sinks and the bed (there was a little bit of dust on the corners of the bed)

A few days ago, my friends and I stayed in one of the private rooms. It started when we were interested in buying beer, and one of the staff members (there may have been a language barrier) didn’t tell us about the discount available for guests staying at Jo&Joe — something that should definitely be communicated to the bar staff in the evening hours. I’d also like to mention that while it’s clear this is a hostel for travelers/young people, that’s no excuse for neglecting cleanliness. When we entered the room, it was full of hair, and the filth under the mattresses was definitely not up to the standard of the place. When you enter the hostel, it looks clean — but the rooms are a different story. I personally lifted up the mattress and started cleaning with a wet wipe, which doesn’t make any sense. On Friday, after a short time away from the room, a cleaner came in — but didn’t actually clean anything. The hairs I had cleaned myself from the floor (under the stairs) were there again, full of hair (and I can guarantee they weren’t mine or my friends'). Most of the reviews here mention cleanliness — and for good reason. It’s something that really needs attention. On a positive note: the staff was amazing! Very helpful, and for every request/question, they were quick to help or offer advice. A great team — I’d give them a 10

Had bedbugs as warned and got a refund. The place looks nice in photos but has a dead/soulless commercial feel to it irl. Its a bit run down. Staff kinda helpful. Had to ask on arrival for basic things to be done like refilling soap in bathroom. Had to pay to store my bag. Location is okay.

One of My Favorite Dormitories in the World! I absolutely love this place! It’s truly one of my favorite dormitories I’ve ever stayed in. The entire space is clean, neat, and has a really pleasant ambience. The room was tidy and comfortable, and what made the experience even better was the staff—they speak English and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their friendliness made me feel so welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Highly recommended!

I missed out on a lot of the events and the happy house wasn't open during hours listed but the vibe was still cool. The only problem i had was there was what looked like dried snot on the wall of my bedroom, as well as the vent was CAKED in dust which didn't help my allergies. Also there's a stool in the room but not really enough room for it so I ended up almost falling off the ladder a few times trying to not step on my belongings on the stool since I didn't want to take up even more space in the already tight room

The beds are nice, the lower bunks have curtains, and the upper bunks also offer some privacy, with outlets, lamps, and USB ports. The room was clean, but the bathrooms weren't. Furthermore, there was a woman who snored a lot in the room, but there's not much that can be done about that.

The staff was really nice and made sure my friend and I could stay together. The happy hour is great, the whole hostel is very clean, I felt very safe, and the location is just 3 minutes from the train station... Perfect!

At the edge of Paris in Gentilly, near a metro station and bus stop, or 10/15 minutes walk to Port de Orleans, which is a bustling neigborhood. Upon check-in just after midnight, there was a homeless person with a booking heckling me and the receptionist. The 4 bed dorm room i stayed in was simple and i was stuck with the same two people for 4 of the 5 nights which i really didn't like, especially as one snored really loudly. The rooms are clearly not cleaned, housekeeping only does the bed sheets/linnen. No A/C but at least it was possible to open one of the windows for some air. The bed is hard and uncomfortable to sleep one, the wooden bunks in my room are weirdly designed and ugly to look at. The toilet is small but okay. Same for shower. Larger people might struggle to fit in. Not much of a social or party atmosphere. I think this hostel suits introverted people. No noise from the busy road because luckily my room was garden side. The garden and common areas are good, there are many benches and seats, even a bouncy (empty) pool arranged as sleeping area to relax or have a bite to eat or drink (even if bring it from outside). Its a bit too expensive for what i paid for (38 e per night),
