Sinestezia at Joben felt like a journey through my own senses! It all started with Green – a subtle yet charming appetizer. The homemade bread and green Maldon salt gave me a comforting sense of freshness, while the gin infused with vegetal ingredients made me feel like I was breathing in the air of a summer garden.
Yellow was the highlight for me. The celery puree with turmeric had a rich flavor, and the jumbo shrimp sautéed in butter and curry delivered an unforgettable aroma. The cocktail with tequila, passion fruit, and agave enhanced the vibrant effect of the yellow theme.
Orange, with its tender duck and roasted carrots, was all about pure enthusiasm. It felt like everything picked up a dynamic rhythm, further emphasized by the music and lighting. The spiced rum and orange juice in the drink added a sweet-spicy note that perfectly matched the moment.
By the time I reached Red, I was completely captivated. The dish was defined by dehydrated tomatoes and a touch of spice, complemented by a pomegranate reduction that added just the right acidity. The whiskey and chili cocktail was, quite literally… passionate. It was a combination I never thought possible but turned out to be excellent.
Blue tied everything together like a peaceful epilogue. The music shifted to a relaxing tone, and the cool lighting enhanced the calm atmosphere. I was amazed at how well everything—from the dishes to the ambiance—was coordinated to influence your mood. I’ll definitely be back for future events!
