How to Plan a Ski Trip to Idaho's Schweitzer Mountain

The food here never disappoints! Everything I have eaten here is absolutely delicious. Even though prices have gone up, the prices are still pretty reasonable, especially for japanese. Sushi. Hibachi. Soup. Appetizers. Drinks. I have never had anything that wasn't great. Some of our favorites are the Saigon Fresh Veggie Rolls with Tofu, the Shogun Bento Box (comes with sushi, sashimi, tempura, rice, salmon, soup and salad - so much food!), the SS Calamari roll and the Hulk Roll. The sake selection is awesome. And they also have seasonal drinks, like Sangria. The service is hit or miss, though. They seem to have just enough wait staff to keep things moving, so you don't get much attention, except when initially ordering and when the food arrives. And even when that happens it isn't always the same staff member, and it isn't an intentional rotating staff situation. The ambiance and aesthetic also leave a little to be desired. The sushi bar is cool, where you can see the fresh fish and watch the sushi get prepared. The outdoor space is also a cool feature, too. However, the location is right on a main road at a traffic light, so views are nothing special at all, and there is the road and traffic noise.

Joe’s Asian Grill is an absolute gem. The fusion of Philippine and Japanese cuisine here is seriously amazing. Every dish tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell there’s passion behind the menu. The portions were perfect, the presentation was beautiful, and the balance of sweet, savory, and umami in each bite was spot on. On top of that, the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for something different from the usual spots in town, Joe’s Asian Grill is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
This Asian restaurant is a fantastic spot for anyone craving bold flavors and variety. I ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings to start, and they were perfectly cooked—light, flavorful, and gone in seconds. The Samurai bento box was a great choice, packed with a little bit of everything, all fresh and well-prepared. Pairing it with a cold Sapporo made for a satisfying, well-rounded meal. The food came out quickly, but nothing felt rushed or lacking in quality. The service was friendly and attentive, rounding out an excellent dining experience. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full sit-down meal, this place delivers on all fronts.

Google
Nice place that has Filipino dishes, but that novelty is about the extent of what is remarkable about it. My personal favorite from here is the kaldereta beef; it is a savory dish that has a nostalgic flavor to it. Autumn likes their chicken adobo. Their lumpia is nothing like what my mom would make at home — I probably wouldn’t order it again. Table service was friendly and attentive enough. I don’t know about 20%-mandatory “large group of 6” -tip enough, but it wasn’t bad. We came with a party of 5 and a small child. I personally don’t see the entitlement. We’ll have to try elsewhere or just cook Filipino at home.

My experience this evening at Joel's Asian Grill was none less than authentic. As you walk in, you're greeted by the lovely atmosphere of exactly as they describe. I myself ordered one of their sushi rolls. In all the years of restaurants and culinary, I've been surrounded by this roll had to be the best. Between the melt in your mouth instance of this dish, you get a filling meal that brings out the umami of each domain of the sea. Between the crab, eel, salmon, and more; the chef truly knew how to balance it out where you finish each bite, not only wanting more but feeling lighter and more relaxed afterwards.

Google
Great little place! Great Asian food, Lots of sushi 🍣 . The crab ragoon nuggets are delicious (slightly over cooked). The soup it delicious. Has a beef flavor to it. Definitely recommended. Great for lunch to grab some sushi.

Google
I am very much a, sit-at-the-bar kind of person. Deoending on the person(and obviously the amount of customers they have on any given day since their always swamped haha) the food will will be ou fairly quickly or maybe a 5-10 minute wait. If you're looking for a super quick bite, this isnt the place. Their menue is EXTENSIVE AND DELICIOUS! For my Vegetarians i HIGHKY recommend the very veggie wrap! Super filling and very tasty!

Our food was delicious! Our waitress was awesome! We found us another great restaurant!

Yelp
Such a great place in Mooresville, have enjoyed Joel's sushi for years. Sometimes very crowded as it isn't the largest place but usually not too long of a line.

Yelp
TLDR: Hibachi was good, fried rice was great, sushi was disappointing. Service was fairly quick. We were initially seated in the back, overflow type seating, and it was uncomfortably hot so we moved to the bar. I had the filet hibachi and it was nice. Portion was huge. The steak was tender but bland. I salted it and was pretty good. The fried rice was fantastic! Perfect balance of veggies and sticky rice. Sadly my wife's sushi was not very good at all. Crab roll was mostly rice, her other roll kept falling apart when she picked it up. Neither were constructed very well. In the end, there is much better sushi nearby but I am sure I will return as the hibachi is convenient.

Kaitlyn S.

Yelp
Placed an order through a third party service to get delivered. Not only did they not include large portions of my order, when I drove 20 minutes to pick it up, it was wrong.
google avatar

Todd S.

Yelp
I eat here somewhat frequently. I really like a few things on their very large menu. They have a large variety of Asian food. Sushi, Hibachi, Thai Curries, Chinese, Philippine. I really like the vegetable fried rice, their ginger salad dressing is very good. The service is always good. They seem to care about your experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is pretty average and nothing really stands out to me about the experience. The customer service was lacking a bit. Our server visited us to give drinks, take the order, and bring the food. The server wasn't mean, but just not friendly either. The wait time wasn't long which I appreciated, but I can tell that they may get busy during lunch time. I ordered the steak hibachi was just "meh" at best; not nasty, but not amazing. Just middle of the road for me. The steak and rice was cooked nicely, but it a bit bland without the yum yum sauce. It wasn't a bad plate for $11, but I wouldn't be inclined to pay the non-lunch prices. I had a piece of a friend's yellow tail sushi and that was really good. I did appreciate the wide variety of menu options. For me, I don't have to revisit Joel's. If I did, I would go back for the sushi.

Yelp
I have been here for takeout and what has really stood out is the friendliness and respectfulness of the two guys at takeout. Not all restaurants are like that. I ate at the bar this time and the in-house service was also excellent. This is more of a sushi place but I don't eat sushi. So I had the Teriyaki Chicken with Lo Mein Noodles and House Salad, which was great. I also had an Asian beer, which was tasty and hit harder than I expected (big beer). I highly recommend the food, the service was good, the prices are very fair (tough to find), and the atmosphere is pretty cool (relaxed vibe). I was only confused by one thing.... Isn't sushi Japanese food? If so, I thought the noodles weren't Lo Mein. And the staff is Filipino, Chinese, and Indonesian. Maybe it's not a Japanese place and a mix of Asian cuisine; hence the name: Joel's Asian Grill. I felt like I was eating Chinese food more than Teriyaki Chicken, but it was really good nonetheless! The only other thing is lack of signage on the exterior above the entrance. It's just a blue awning and brick above that. That's cool because it's a you-need-to-know-about-it kind of place, but you might have trouble finding it on the first attempt. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives and Joel's Asian Grill is highly recommended. Update: I see that this is indeed an Asian Fusion restaurant with Filipino specialities (not a Japanese restaurant).

Yelp
Good lunch specials and bento lunch boxes.we have been here many times and always happy we see here. Good service and friendly staff.

Yelp
This place has so many options on the menu it's awesome. I ended up getting the hibachi steak medium rare and it was delicious. I would definitely get it again. Also a great spot for my vegan parents to eat at.

Yelp
First time here in forever and food was decent. It didn't take them long to make it. The thyphoon roll was good. I like the mango sauce on it. Also got the tuna and avocado salad which was good as well. Pretty fulfilling when you eat other food with it. The service was good. They sat us quickly. Although I would say it took a little while for someone to serve us. It was a little busy when we had went. The ambiance is nice. Their decor and lighting is pretty. They share parking with other businesses so it's easy to find parking but it's very few parking. I like that the menu offers a variety of food options. The price was good too, I would say fairly cheap compared to Charlotte prices. I would come here again. Looking forward to trying things on their lunch special menu. I would say the lo mein noodles weren't the best. Just a little dry. But everything else that I tried was good.

Yelp
The overall food tastes average and won't want to come back. The service and ambiance was good though, however the food is disappointing.

Yelp
Excellent sushi Great for lunch even if you're in a bit of a rush, the service is pretty good.

Yelp
The Race City Roll is fantastic! So is their fried rice and spring rolls! Joel's is always a great option for a fantastic meal in Mooresville.
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
Had the sesame chicken. Very bland and basically just grilled chicken with some veggies and some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. I even asked the server to make sure i got what i ordered. Had to use soy sauce to give it some flavor. There are a lot better options in the areas. Service was decent.

Yelp
This little restaurant is booming with flavors! So much in fact we came here the next day! The place is warm and welcoming, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The menu has a large range if asian food and everything we ate was incredible. There is indoor and outdoor seating but in the colder seasons take warn as the inside is smaller snd can only fit so many. This is our new stop for asian cravings!
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Average sushi. The fish did taste fresh which is a positive however the spicy tuna roll really had no flavor at all. Same with the specialty Salmon roll I ordered. Cute vibe inside and quick service are a positive. You can watch the sushi chefs work which is fun.

Yelp
Ordered the scallops. I kind of know seafood as I once owned a small seafood store and i would say, in my opinion, these scallops are the fake ones usually served in places where people are not familiar with seafood. They were small, narrow and tasteless. Real scallops are not uniform in size, they are round and tall and have a hinge on them where they were once attached to their shell. They have a sweet smell and are absolutely delicious. I hate when these probably fake ones are served because this is why so many people think they do not like seafood. Broccoli had a burnt flavor although they were not burned. Small house soup, bah. Ube ice cream was excellent and a good sized portion. If I had eaten in the restaurant, I would have sent the "scallops" back. Sorry, I really used to like Joel's but they have gone downhill and that will be my last order.

Yelp
I'll change my review when you stop adding huge potatoes to your curry recipes and others.. we get it.. times are tough, don't mess with the food.
google avatar

Courtney J.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place with a lot of options, this one is for you. The menu is extensive, but I like that they have images of the food and the name of the item on tv screens around the restaurant. I was able to try the pork steam buns, a spicy tuna roll, and another roll whose name escapes me right now. Everything was very good, though. The rolls don't aren't overly filled with rice, and the spicy tuna roll is diced/ground tuna (which I prefer). The steamed buns were soft, but the pork on the inside was crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The music is jamming in this place, and the servers are friendly and fast. I would definitely come back to eat here, and see what it is like on the weekends.

H B.

Yelp
Used to be excellent but last two times food was not as good. This last time it took over an hour for takeout and the sushi was packed with the hot dishes and fish was warm - ewww. No refund.

Yelp
Overall - this Asian Japanese and Filipino restaurant is hardly a welcoming nor pleasing restaurant I have been. The Filipino menu are secondary menu unless you ask. The restaurant lack authenticity, energy and hospitality. The foods are below my expectations. You will do far better foods in hole-in-wall Asian eatery. My husband and I decided to check this restaurant for the first time. The receptionist with whom my guess are family members/related to owner are unfriendly and snotty. I have. It seen them show care or check any table with diners. The servers on the other hand who are non-Asian are nice and friendly. Let's talk about the food. We purposely visited for the Filipino foods as they advertised. The lumpia we're very thin with hardly any filling. The lumpia sariwa was dismal. The sauce was disgusting and it did not even taste like garlic sauce! The filling tasted old and not freshly cooked. The tapsilog was overly salty and does not even looked like a tapa. The halo halo was mostly iced, we have to ask for additional milk and there were scarce toppings. It makes it looked like this restaurant do not take pride of what they make, at least for the Filipino dishes we tried. They were downright sloppy and tasteless. This business, supposedly in existence for 20 years, so by judging has likely deteriorated. The inside of the restaurant is so so. Our table was wobbly! The bathroom were not in great shape, considering they just opened. This is not a place that I would recommend.
google avatar

Deborah M.

Yelp
Great food and service! But the table set up really contributes to it being awfully loud.

Britni M.

Yelp
Placed a to-go order: 2 chicken Pad Thais & 1 shrimp tempura sushi roll which totaled $33. Price seemed somewhat fair but the food was extremely bland. The noodles were dry and there was barely any peanut sauce or seasoning. The sushi portion was quite tiny, taste was alright. First time trying this place & we ended up a bit disappointed. May try again someday but probably won't be our go to unfortunately. Worth mentioning, Staff was friendly and food was cooked quickly!

Yelp
I've been to Joel's a few times since it's the only place that serves a large variety of Filipino food. Let me tell you, ang sarap ng pagkain (the food is delicious)! This review is only for their Filipino food since that is all I ever get when I'm here. My all time favorite Filipino food is Kare Kare and while nobody makes it like Lola, Joel's is very good. Unless you're Filipino, it's not a dish very many know about. It's a peanut based stew which basically means it's made with peanut butter in the stew. Yes, I'm aware that sounds weird to most but trust me it's delicious. I also love that they include bagoong. If you're not used to it, yes the anchovy paste is a little off putting. Try a small amount with the rice, the Kare Kare are and a piece of the beef. The saltiness from the bagoong elevates the stew. Other Filipino dishes that are worth mentioning to try are the paksiw, lechon kawali, sisig, and the embotido (meat loaf). And yes, Filipino meatloaf is made with raisins. Don't knock it till you try it. Of course, when you're here get the lumpia Shanghai because it's not a proper Filipino feast without some lumpia. If you go with the lumpia sariwa, be prepared for two large wraps filled with veggies. People are always surprised by the size and it can end up being a meal by itself. My one complaint with Joel's is that they have too large of a menu. There's 3 different menus covering many Asian dishes. It can be overwhelming if you're trying to decide what to eat.

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was great! We also ordered halo halo too. Will be returning again

Yelp
Yelp's International Supper Club stopped here yesterday evening to experience #allthingsfilipino. Going to be honest, I was super nervous. 1) I had never been to Joel's and 2) was scared folks wouldn't like the food. Irrational fears aside, we all made the trek up to Mooresville for a delicious dinner. The dinner was arranged by Danielle E! She did a great job of picking the dishes. It was served family style and our server (didn't catch her name did wonderfully for serving 12 people). Joel's has their hands in a little bit of everything (just look at the menu). But for the filipino dinner we had last night, everything was spot on. It was a rollercoaster ride of flavors (mostly highs) but glad I was able to join this unique experience. I will definitely come back to try the other offerings (sushi, soups, and noodles). It was a nice evening, a lot of folks were eating on the patio area, we had a nice long table reserved in the back of the house. With everyone eating out side, it felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. There's a counter (to sit/drink at) but I think Joel's really maximizes their space to get the maximum amount of people dining at one time. I'm sure the ethnic food options around Lake Norman are starting to grow as more and more people relocate from different cities, but I think Joel's does a great job in being many things all at once. If only they were closer to Charlotte, I would be here WAY more often.
google avatar

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
I came here for Yelp's International Supper Club with a group of 10 or so people for a family style meal. We came for their secret Filipino menu. You have to ask for it normally, but Danielle in our group already had our order ready. We started with Lumpia Shenghai (spring rolls) and Coco Jumbo Shrimp appetizers. Both were tasty. For entrees, we had Palabok, Embutido, Adobo, Sizzling Lechon Kawale, and Sisig Pork. My two favorites were the Sizzling Lechon Kawali and the Sisig pork. Both came out in cast iron skillets. The pork on both was delicious and one had a fried egg. Everything was good though! For dessert we got Halo Halo which was a big bowl of shaved ice with condensed milk and toppings. It reminded me a bit of bubble tea. I'm not a shaved ice person but this was delicious. It's huge so it can definitely be shared. This was my first time having Filipino food and I was impressed!
google avatar

Melissa Z.

Yelp
My Filipino roommate found this spot and wanted to to take me and we are sooo glad we made the drive to Mooresville to try it! 100% WORTH IT! The restaurant isn't fancy but it's cute and dimly lit inside and a great spot to hang out at. There's a big bar area too. Everything we ordered except the crab rangoon rolls is from the Filipino menu- must ask for it. The crab rangoon rolls: so creamy and the perfect appetizer, way better than regular crab rangoon, which I love, so if you're a fan definitely get it. The chicken pansit: my favorite entree of them all! So flavorful and squeezing the lemon on it was the cherry on top. Kaldereta: Who doesn't love a good beef stew with potatoes, always delicious and comes with rice. Could've had more beef though. Kare-Kare: they make this sauce with peanut butter so it has a really unique taste but isn't overwhelming and is savory. If I had to choose I would choose this over the kaldereta. Halo-halo: literally the size of a bowl of ramen. Their halo-halo me fall in love with this desert and all the toppings went so well together and tasted good, especially the flan.

Yelp
My family and I go here, every so often their Hibachi and teriyaki lunch meal you can beat for the price. The sushi is always great. Yesterday I just got the a sushi salad which was tuna with avocado then sprouts and ginger dressing... simple and delicious. Came again today delicious.. service was a little slow but good. I got the salad again And the steak hibachi with noodles instead of rice. It comes with a salad or soup and sweet carrots. Opted out of sweet carrots. Good as always

Joel S.

Yelp
First time in this establishment and was greeted seated in speedy friendly manner. The server was very friendly and took our appetizer and drink orders. The menu is a mix of Asian Japanese and a small Vietnamese mix. We order the Goyza dumplings. They were very good, and moist with tasty dipping sauce. The entree were off the Asian menu first was the B1 Roasted Volcano Beef and CH6 Stri-Fry Trio. Both arrived Hot and tasty large Portions. The only downside was my Valcano Beef had little to no valcano sauce!! Made the dish very dry . It has good cubed beef but no sauce. I will try this restaurant again and order something else. It gets a 4 Star rating from me .

Daniella S.

Yelp
Used to be better. I don't know if there's new ownership or what but the last couple times I've been here were not very good compared to when I used to come years ago. Staff was very friendly, the fish was a bit weird though something was just off about the texture. A bit disappointing since this used to be one of my favorite spots to go to in Mooresville.

T B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service every time. Best to eat in the restaurant but take is always hot and delicious too.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
Came here for a date night and really enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the hibachi chicken and the lo mein. In addition we had spring rolls and the shrimp. Everything was as expected and the service was top notch. I'm looking forward to trying the sushi next time. Easy walk from the house and tons of shops to check out before and after dinner. Enjoy!

Leslie L.

Yelp
I don't want to leave a bad review because I believe in supporting local business. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Great service. Friendly but dingy/dirty inside and out and food is bland.
google avatar

Yelp
I heard this place has Filipino food ! So I had to try it! Also, it's asian fusion. Why not!!! We sat in the patio and the outside was perfect seating. We had a cool shady area to sit. Food was good! The fried pork belly was perfectly crispy . Oh and that sauce! Amazing! I tried the sauce without dipping the pork belly and at first I was like, ok? But when I dipped the pork in. Omg! It's the perfect combination. Sigsig pork was good! Glad I tried a Filipino dish. Sushi, on the other hand.. was not fresh to me. Representation looked good. But sushi was not the best. I'll probably skip that next time. Overall, it was good. I really would go back for the Filipino dishes and want to try the desserts next time!

Yelp
so we're in a bit of a rough spot now and life is somewhat of a jumble and an odd variation of hunter-gathering has become the new normal in many areas of life... so to commemorate one week of staying in (+ supporting charlotte) we are (mostly) staying in again! and tonight we're having steamed buns, tempura, makis, and palabok. Before today every time I've ever had food here I've actually had the food here, today I picked up a sack of snacks to go and went. Was only fifteen minutes to get it home and plated but it still would have been better in their dining room (needed new- or micro waving) so with that in mind... Steamed buns with pork belly was quite good: light sear all over and a healthy slather of thick chinese bbq sauce plus lettuces and scallions. Tempura was abundant but cooling off and had lost its crisp; still, I was happy to see green pepper, squash, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and onions in the mix along with a handful of shrimps. Had a bite of the V3-maki plus ginger and wasabi and my sinuses caught fire because of the green paste (this was expected and happened four more times) definitely be back exploring the maki options. Not sure what happened with the pabalok though, the taste was off in about half of the dish. nothing spoiled or icky in there, it was just not quite as bright on the left side of the bowl as the right... if that's my only complaint then I have no complaints

Yelp
The Sushi I had was great, I also got miso soup and it was delicious. Our service was very slow but they may have been short handed because of covid. I think we waited about 30 minutes for the sushi and 15 minutes for our server to come back around after we were finished eating for the check. Overall it was worth the time. Will go back!
google avatar

George K.

Yelp
With gas prices at the $4 dollar range, I went looking for sushi a bit closer to home. Joel's Asian Grill was close by in Mooresville so we gave it shot. The Oyster Roll was made with fried oysters and asparagus and tasted very good and you could taste the oysters. The steak and shrimp was also delicious with generous portions. Just be prepared for sticker shock if the menu prices don't match your receipt. There was actual white out with price changes on the menu. The Oyster Roll was like $7.95 on the menu but was over $11 dollars when it appeared on the bill.

Yelp
Just hosted a 12-person dinner party at Joels to introduce my Yelp international supper club members to authentic filipino cuisine. Their staff was nothing other than fantastic. I called the morning of and they had everything ready and set-up on time. Service was great and the wait staff was attentive and quick. The feedback from the club was nothing less than amazing, they enjoyed having tasted of the 'secret' filipino menu. Thank you Joel's for a wonderful time.

Yelp
Food was amazing and very affordable. The bento box had plenty of food for only $9.95. We sat outside and it was super nice with their extra lighting.
google avatar

Yelp
I cannot believe I have never been to Joel's. It was absolutely fantastic. The service was awesome, the sushi was awesome and Joel is a good guy. I really enjoyed their spin on crab ragoons. More like a large egg roll or spring roll with crab and cream cheese inside. It was excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Joel's has been a favorite for me for the last 13 years! The sister location, JJ's is great too. We no longer live in the area, but always attempt to sneak in a visit to one location or the other when we come to town. The service can be a tad slow at times, but they are usually very busy and the quality of the sushi and reasonable prices make up for it. It's also nice to see Joel himself running around, helping out and chatting with diners. I've even seen him drive delivery when things were super busy. We are very happy patrons and love supporting Joel's businesses in Mooresville.

Yelp
I'm highly upset with this restaurant for many reasons. The service was horrible. It took a while to be attended after being sat. When we finally got to order I described the sushi that I would like to the waitress and she agreed that she understood what I wanted. But when it got to my table it was completely different. I wasn't trying to make a big deal and have the food sent back. I've worked as a server for 3 years and I know how everything is ran in the restaurant business. This waitress wasn't doing her job correctly. My girlfriend ordered a bento box. The rice that she received had an odd taste to it. Almost like if it was old rice and all of the other sides on the bento box were ok. Nothing fancy about them. Overall, I wont be coming back. Highly disappointed.

Yelp
EXTREMELY RUDE. My best friend and I checked before walking in that they closed at 9:00pm. We walked up at 8:15pm. I was PHYSICALLY PUSHED by a man(possibly the owner) to close the front. He went "WHAT DO YOU WANT?! WE ARE CLOSED!" Then the elderly woman at the front desk hit the door, angrily, and yelled, "ON THE DOOR!" I'll make sure to never give my business to this restaurant again. To be treated that rudely? No customer or person deserves to be treated that poorly. NEXT TIME, CHANGE YOUR GOOGLW HOURS. UPDATE YOUR INFO.

Yelp
I wish I got photos of my food but I was HUNGRY. I was told by my Filipino friends to come here to get some gooood Filipino food so I went straight for the Filipino menu and I'll definitely will be back for more. This was my 1st time here and I ate the Sisig pork and Sinigang soup - yellowtail cheek. Both were great, the sisig was on a skillet and I mean PORK! Yasss it was yummy to my tummy. With the sinigang soup, it was a perfect sour soup, I was about the slurp it up but I had to control myself. Both of those dishes I would recommend to anyone new to this restaurant or Filipino food

Yelp
Took my friend here to try Filipino food for her first time. I'm always worried about having people try Filipino food for the first time unless it's my mom's cooking because I want it to be an authentic experience. Fortunately, their Filipino food is as authentic as it gets and my friend LOVED it! I enjoyed it myself so much so that I came back two days later and brought my parents! Joel's is located in a nice shopping center. Plenty of parking, but may have to park away if it's a busy night. Not much too look at from the outside. To be honest, looks like your typical cluttered Asian restaurant on the inside, but that to me usually spells authentic. There's a large bar/sushi bar with lots of seating. Outdoor seating is also available. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated at a table. The area where they chose to seat us was dark and we knew the table wouldn't fit all our orders, so we kindly asked to be relocated to another table. The staff accommodated our request and seated us at a bigger table with much better lighting. We and our two sons ordered the following: Lumpia Shanghai $4.95 Incredible Hulk Roll $10.95 Large Rice Bowl with Chicken and Veggies $8.95 Adobo $8.95 Lechon Kawali $7.95 Pork Sisig $9.95 Halo-Halo $6.95 The lumpia was plenty crispy and the sauce complimented it well. I can't speak for the Incredible Hulk roll or the rice bowl because I didn't try either. Our boys ordered those and had no complaints. My son ate the entire roll and ordered it again when I returned 2 days later. My friend ordered the adobo and really enjoyed it. We shared the lechon kawali and that was our favorite of the entire meal! It was amazing! Perfectly crispy and melts in your mouth. We could not stop talking about how good it was. I ordered the pork sisig and that too was delicious! Now for the halo halo, I asked if we could share it and our server said it serves 4 people. I've had plenty of halo halo in my life, but their halo halo is THE biggest serving I have ever seen! My friend and I were both shocked and to top it off, our boys didn't want any so we were left to share the entire thing just between the two of us. We were so full from our entrees that we failed to finish the entire bowl (even though we wanted to). It was sweet and had lots of great textures and flavors. Fast forward two days later, my parents decided to come up and visit me. I raved about this place and their lechon kawali that I was able to convince them to come here. Again, we were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered the following: Lechon Kawali $7.95 Kare-Kare $10.95 Incredible Hulk Roll $10.95 Bulalo $10.95 Turon $3.95 Again, the lechon kawali was the favorite. The kare-kare was creamy enough but not too rich. I didn't taste the peanut flavor in the sauce as much and it tastes much better with the bagoong mixed in. I was hoping it came with ox tail, but the beef was good, too. It was tender. The broth in the bulalo had great flavor and the beef was very tender as well. That serving can be shared between 2-3 people, depending on appetite. My son had the Hulk roll again and devoured it within minutes. The turon was served warm over ice vanilla ice cream. It crunchy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. Great ending to our meal! Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portions. Staff was pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend the Filipino menu.

Yelp
Sooo good! The sushi was great starter, and several different martinis. Once they told me they had a Philippino menu... I was in heaven!

Yelp
So happy to have a Filipino restaurant!! Pancit and sisig were amazing! My boyfriend only likes hibachi, but he loved it there, so it's a win for us both!!! Plus, you can't go wrong with some Ube ice cream and halo halo!!!

Yelp
This was $16 , I have eaten inside but don't order takeout from there and the bag was obviously tied so we couldn't really rip it open to check it .
