Joel's Bungalows Lampuuk

I, like others, enjoyed the view of this place. It was truly charming. The only issue was that their beds had bed bugs. The room we stayed in was the very last one on the slopes, attached a picture so you can be sure to avoid it. Agree the toilet and shower can be improved. We might go back just for a drink.

The accommodation is in an isolated location away from the village and the buildings are some distance apart from eachother. The load sea and winds add to safety concerns. One night a man broke into my room through the window here whilst I was asleep who at the time he was a member of staff. It was violent and terrifying and no-one heard my screams for help. Eventually I escaped and local people let me stay with them. We came back in the morning to tell management what happened. I was in visible trauma being there but the owner Joel didn't come over and still I was given the bill. Local police were shocked and never came across an incident like this, not being local it was not possible to press charges because an investigation takes a very long time... After my experience I want people to be aware and say it would be better to pick in a homestay in the village instead.

Stayed here for 2 days the accommodation is quite old traditional which is good. The food is ok I enjoyed the chicken burger. The location is amazing fresh wind if you can't speak bahasa you might have trouble communicating but all round good stay staff friendly and alot of passing locals go there for food and to take pictures. So unfortunately not as private as I would like here some photos of my stay there.

nice place although it's a little run down and unfortunately nobody of the staff cares about all the trash on the property and beach... this accommodation could be so much nicer with so little effort :( Pros: -nice seaview directly in front of the surf spots -spacey bungalows and a few spots to hang around in the shadow Cons: -trash everywhere!!! I couldn't believe it. the staff doesn't really seem to care :( -no sink/mirror in the bathroom -little run down bungalows

This bungalow is provided for the one who want to experience living nearby the sea shore. The voice of the ocean and the wonderful view of sunset will make Aceh as a memorable place to travel to. I love the sunset, the beach, and the food in the the restaurant. You can order anything you want.

Welcome to the pig's house! They have an amazing place but they don't take care about it.... It's all dirty, lots of plastics, straws, plastic cups and other trashes. The water smells very bad and we even had the great pleasure to don't have water anymore just before we left to the airport. Furthermore, at 7h no one was there to serve us the breakfast (breakfast we ordered with the owner the night before). Everything is dirty, the bungalows are not maintained at all, the matress and the pillows are horrible... For 350k IDR basically it's not worth it. It's not like this that we should treat costumers. Go green, really Sari, please don't destroy this place.

Location great, bungalow could have used more furnishings. Little to no water pressure Food from kitchen was basic indo. Big drawback, we got scabies from the bedding,.No mosquito netting until we asked. We would look at other accommodations before coming back. 100 cdn a night was way too much.fowhat it was.
