I’ve been to JOEY Bellevue a few times before, but yesterday’s lunch was even better. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and the whole team made the experience truly special. The service was attentive, the food was excellent, and they went above and beyond to make the celebration feel memorable. It turned a simple lunch into a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for his birthday dinner. It was his first time and he absolutely loved it! We had an Excellent Customer Service by AJ!!! She was very friendly and attentive. She recommended few good options to drink and yes we loved what we picked.The food was so delicious we even ordered some to take home. Overall, we give this place 10/10.

I frequently go to Joey’s and always enjoy the experience. We went on a Friday night, and the place was busy and lively with great music. We were greeted right away and seated within minutes, and they even offered a complimentary glass of champagne while we waited, which was a really nice touch. We had dinner and ordered a bottle of champagne, which added to the overall experience. The service was excellent. While the food was good, the portions were a bit small for the price. It’s a great spot for a relaxed date night or exploring the area. The happy hour menu is also worth checking out—2–5 PM daily and Sunday–Thursday from 9 PM to close. If you’re in Bellevue, I’d definitely recommend it.

There is an nice menu which is waiting for you. The taste was nice. The amount could be more, especially for the price they request. It is therefore too expensive. For the service I only gave 3 stars cause there have been at least 4 waiters/waitresses servicing me. By the time I was there they haven’t been that busy. This is not wanted in modern service in gastronomy. Also I gave 3 stars for the ambe as the noise was awful loud. Regular communication without talking really loud is not possible. So please make sure that background noise like music is reduced so the people can talk to each other. Or do you want to be a bar/disco…?

It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers both amazing food and exceptional service but this restaurant does exactly that. I never miss a chance to come here when visiting Seattle. If you’re lucky enough to have Sarah as your server, you’re in for an even more memorable experience!

Sarah. All I can say is wow. Her service, her help, her energy… absolutely unmatched. I came in with my mom to celebrate her birthday, and Sarah truly made the entire experience. I have never been to a place where I adored the waitress this much. She was so insightful and helpful with both drinks and food, so attentive, and just such a bright light. So warm, so kind, and genuinely the best. She made our celebration even more special.

JOEY Bellevue is a great spot for a classy yet relaxed dining experience. The food is consistently delicious, the ambience is stylish, and the service is attentive. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, or catching up with friends. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Absolutely loved our experience at JOEY Bellevue! We visited JOEY Bellevue to celebrate my birthday, and everything from the food to the service was just perfect. Our server, Sean, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything arrived right on time. We ordered the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Steak and Ravioli Bianco, Buttery Noodles for our kid, and several cocktails including the Good Life Margarita, Spicy Passion Fruit, and the Wood Smoked Old Fashioned — every drink was unique and delicious. We also tried the Roasted Corn Guacamole and a Classic Margarita from the happy hour menu — both were excellent. The Wood Smoked Old Fashioned was especially impressive, and the Lettuce Wraps were such a fun and flavorful experience. The Steak was cooked perfectly, and our kid absolutely loved her Buttery Noodles and Passion Fruit Lemonade. To top it off, we received a complimentary cheesecake for the birthday — honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had! We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Everything is always great here with my many experiences which included a lunch business meeting yesterday. Alex was a very attentive server and even gave us a tip that we should order before this giant table next to us did. Was a helpful tip so we did. I've never had a bad meal here and as I often do, I ordered the Hibachi Wings. Never fails me. This place offers a mix of casual and classy with your dining experience, but the service and food makes you feel like you are in a 5 star restaurant. Will always come back here.

I typically shy away from dining at larger restaurant groups, as their menus often feel predictable and a little short on personality. Joey, however, completely changed that mindset. This restaurant proves that you can be part of a broader family of establishments while still offering a menu that feels fresh, distinctive, and bursting with flavor. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. My party was greeted with a complimentary sparkling beverage, with thoughtful non-alcoholic options as well. The staff struck the perfect balance--warm and attentive without ever being overbearing. For my first meal, I ordered the Lobster Spaghetti. Simple in concept, yes--but extraordinary in execution. The pasta was perfectly prepared, bathed in a light white wine-based sauce, and elevated by generous portions of tender lobster. Rich yet delicate, it was a dish that clearly belonged on the dinner menu, though I was delighted to enjoy it anytime. On subsequent visits, I leaned into lighter fare, sampling the Hibachi Wings and the Katsu Salad--both of which were standouts. The wings were everything I love: crisp without being drenched in sauce, meaty, and coated in a bold, spicy rub that delivered serious flavor. They were addictive in the best possible way. If you are at all sensitive to spice, I suggest you observe rather than partake, they have a notable kick to them. The Katsu Salad, though, might have been my favorite. A perfectly crisp katsu cutlet lay beneath a colorful mix of fresh vegetables, peanuts, and a flavorful dressing that tied everything together. Every bite felt balanced and satisfying, with texture and taste that kept me coming back for more. By the time I reached the last forkful, I was already wishing for another plate. To my surprise, I later discovered Joey also has a location in my home area of Orange County, California--a revelation that means I won't have to wait for my next Bellevue trip to enjoy another meal. Joey Bellevue isn't about fine dining pomp--no white tablecloths or leather booths here. Instead, it offers something better: an elevated casual dining experience where creativity, quality, and service come together seamlessly. It's a place that takes familiar dishes and reimagines them in ways that leave you impressed and craving more. In short, Joey rocks. If you have the chance, go. You'll walk away talking about it--and planning your return. Enjoy!

Food was drinks were great here. Chill atmosphere Had some kind of ravioli with steak and shrimp. Perfection. Ordered as a shaded plate to enjoy over drinks at the bar. Steak was prepared medium. Highly recommend this as a shared plate because of the mix of flavors with the ravioli and shrimp. Would advise that service can be slow (or super slow) if the bartender is busy hitting on the pretty girls. Be prepared to wait for your order to be taken after the pretty girls are seated after you and the drink and food orders are taken and delivered first.

We walked in for lunch and got seated right away which was nice. Joey has a great selections for lunch on their menu. Their katsu chicken peanut salad was savory and crunchy. The dish blended very well together. It wasn't salty as I thought it might have been with the sauce. Large portion and the restaurant itself is large.

Still one of my favorite spots! The food is always amazing, and tonight we were lucky to have Paige -- she made everything even better. I love when great service and good vibes make you want to come back again!

If choosing between Joey's and Earls, I would 10000% tell you to come to Joeys. The service and food is so much higher above than Earls (I had a laundry list of issues when we ate at Earls). We came to Joey's with our two young kids before Snowflake Lane; obviously, we aren't the typical group/clientele for Joeys but we still were treated the same. The service and food was performed and provided to us much faster than what they told us it might be, so I really appreciated that. They give you sparkling wine at the hostess stand if you have to wait for your table, which is AMAZING. I would choose Joey's as a suitable option when eating in downtown Bellevue.

Love the ambiance here. Great food. Service was excellent and our server gave great recommendation. My sea bass was mouthwatering. Delicious. Dessert was fantastic. Very busy in the evenings but lots of places to sit and dine inside minimal wait. Fantastic selections of tap beer. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Was in the area and i saw there was a joeys here. Always wanted to try it. Got the salad. Was in and out within 30 min!!! Sooo fast!!

Joey is located in downtown Bellevue and has a great ambience. They have a great selection of food and drinks, and the service is absolutely amazing! Their corn guacamole and hummus are my absolute favorites here and absolutely don't miss them. The molten cake, Truffle Fries, pasta and apple pie are pretty good too!

Great atmosphere, friendly service. We ordered chicken Parmesan, ravioli and steak sandwich. They are tasty and big portions

Ok so I have to update my review from a decade ago. This place in 2025 is now pretty good. Their food got much much better. Service was always okay. I still don't like this type of vibe from a bar or a restaurant but honestly? I can handle it a few times a year. In fact, objectively speaking, many people probably and most likely would like this type of a vibe.

For the quality of food they give here at great places + a killer vibe and setup I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in town

Came back as promised. Had the lettuce wraps, Japanese Gyoza, mushrooms for appetizers, and ordered the steak & ravioli for dinner. Haley B. was our server again and was amazing! Top tier service!

Stepped out of a conference to grab a bite at JOEY Bellevue with some colleagues. I wound up getting the Spaghetti Pomodoro - a swirled mountain of spaghetti noodles, perfectly cooked and dressed with calabrian chili-spiked tomato sauce, whipped ricotta, fresh basil, and parmesan. And it came with a wedge of garlic toast - a literal description of a 2-inch thick wedge of toast buttered up and garlicky. Perfectly sized portion for one person, and enough to keep me occupied for the meal without filling me up too much for my return to the conference. JOEY is large and cavernous with an ample bar, and plenty popular given the number of people in the restaurant on a weeknight. If you're looking for a great meal, try JOEY Bellevue!

Finally getting around to reviewing one of the best spots in Bellevue. I love the steak and sushi, and don't miss the crispy potato side. Their drinks are also stellar, love the dirty martini and vodka soda. I've heard their chicken parm is the best in Bellevue. Always great service and a nice vibe for a night out.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was right. The hostess set a warm, welcoming tone--and then came Tracey, our server and the true highlight of the night. Tracey was an absolute doll--friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. She walked us through everything with such enthusiasm that we ended up ordering all her recommendations... and she did not miss. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps and the ceviche, which was hands down my favorite dish of the night--super fresh, tangy, and beautifully balanced. For mains, we had the steak + ravioli and the steak + sushi (seared salmon), which quickly became the table favorite. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I couldn't resist the happy hour truffle parmesan fries (because fries are a love language), and they did not disappoint. Huge parm shavings, just the right amount of truffle oil, and the perfect match for my vodka martini. We ended with the butter cake and an espresso martini nightcap--and wow. The perfect sweet finish to an already amazing night. Honestly, the food was great across the board--but Tracey made the experience unforgettable. Her warmth, energy, and attention to detail turned a good dinner into something truly special. Pro tip: Ask for Tracey. You won't regret it.

I had been to other Joey's locations, but this was my first time at the Bellevue location. It is at a great spot on first floor kitty corner to Bellevue Square. We were seated at a comfy round table with a good view of a TV to watch basketball. They have a nice wine list--I started with a glass of red blend and my wife had rose. We started with mini steak French dips. I had not had them before, but will definitely have them in the future. These are absolutely delicious. The NY strip is cooked perfectly, the cheese is the perfect complement, then the garlic bread was a brilliant idea. Definitely get two per person. For my main course, I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter was a nice touch. I liked the salad and then there fries are very good. We will definitely be back.

Never have I been disappointed at Joey's. I have been to their Bellevue, Renton/Southcenter, Vancouver locations. Unfortunately never wrote reviews for the Southcenter location. So I decided to write one at least for Bellevue location. The hummus as appetizer has always been my favorite. The other one which we tried was the Korean Fried Cauliflower. Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps - this one deserves special mention. Loved the chicken and its flavor. Coming to the mains - the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes was lovely. Could feel the crab! Folks who have tried real crab can understand that feeling ;) . I want to try something new, but everytime end up ordering the Mediterranean Bowl. Cannot resist that. Then the Steak & Sushi - the steak was so good! To close out, it the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake for desserts. Nothing went wrong that evening. The staff were courteous, the ambience was good. No drinks that night, so no comments on that. Will visit once again to try some drinks.

Upon entering they offered us a complimentary sparkling wine while we waited for our table that only took less than 90 seconds. Our server Gavin was knowledgeable and was able to help me navigate my dietary restrictions with mayo. We stated with a side of the Crunchy Mashed potatoes. Get this! It's like a fancy potato skin. They take mashed potato and wrap it in an egg roll wrapper and lightly deep fry it. They top it with loaded potato toppings. Genius! I order the Mediterranean bowl with a Negroni. Then I had the Empress Gin & Tonic with the lime icy on top! Loved every moment of this late lunch! I'll be back when I'm in Bellevue for sure!

The food was ok and I would have rather been at Farzi Cafe than here! I tried a few other peoples food along with mine and let's just say I wasn't impressed at all !!! I ordered the crab cakes as my Entree - I tasted the lettuce wraps, the chicken tikka, the fried cauliflower, the truffles fries along with a few other items - very average!

Upscale lounge with romantic lighting, open air kitchen, and complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival - delicious! Staff were amazing! We were sat by Riley and Alex was our server. Phenomenal service - water was always refilled, Alex was excellent with his menu recommendations and knowledge of drinks, and they went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration feel special. Will definitely be back. For our meal - we split the hummus plate with veggies and homemade soft pita chips (out of this world - incredibly flavorful and fresh) We got the steak dinner and steak and sushi - highly recommend - steak was cooked perfectly and sushi was surprisingly good! I'm always worried with a "combo" meal - one of the sides may be lacking but portions and quality of the food was 10/10. Drinks were great - they had a wide variety of local wines, beers, and cocktails - we tried the espresso martini shots, Junik Cabernet red wine, and a glass of their Mac and Jack Amber ale - all paired well with the meal!

I loved the complimentary wine. It's a nice way to start off the evening. The waitresses were really nice and attentive. The ambience is perfect for a date night or solo date. Over to the food OMG! We had a Grilled Chicken Club and Joey Cheeseburger. The Chicken club was so succulent 20/10.The bun was utter perfection. The truffle fries were mid. The salad was...well a regular salad. I didn't quite enjoy the nutty flavour paired with the dressing but my date did.

Recently visited Joey on a Tuesday evening for a company dinner with a part of 14. In a nutshell, the service, speed of food being brought out, accuracy of orders, and hospitality (always gotta love the complimentary sparkling rose they start you off with to wet your whistle and get you to keep the drinks flowing lol) were all on par. My last few visits to Joey was subpar but, this particular visit is what makes it worth the price tag of their menu. The hostesses were also very attentive and personable, which is always a great start to the dining experience.

Came here for lunch with coworkers! Great spot. They now offer complimentary NA bubbly along with their regular offer, which is great. Service was friendly and attentive. We all got salads, which has great flavors and very filling. They came in just under $30 for each salad, so a little steep, but I still left feeling full and satisfied! We sat in the lounge area and looking forward to coming back for happy hour

Paige J took fantastic care of our group of 10, even with kids in a restaurant not normally tailored to families. The staff was attentive and kept coming back throughout the meal, and helped make sure we had space for the whole party on a busy Saturday night. This was a special family reunion of people from 2 states and 4 cities and it was very meaningful to have such a fun experience with great food. Thanks Paige!

Well, we just went there for dessert only and a glass of wine. I read some reviews and saw some pictures and it looked pretty wonderful so being that there's so many wonderful places around here. I thought we'd get this one a shot much to our disappointment. It tasted frozen at least the fruit part and the presentation was Not very good. Very expensive for disappointment!

Every time we've came here, we always end up getting the best food and waiter! Sammy is amazing at what she does and always a fun chat!

Went here June 2024 for a family dinner. We made reservations online. This is a very fancy dining experience. Plenty of Wine & Cocktails to choose from. I got the Chicken Spaghetti Pomodoro as my main. Cost about $40 after tip. This was delicious and the chicken was perfect. The seasoning was great and it was breaded very nicely. The spaghetti was delicious and had a little spice to it which I loved. The portion size was great with room for leftovers to take home! The bathroom was very nice and clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and our server Whitney was very kind and attended to all our needs. She's an excellent server and we were very happy to have her tend to our table! Parking was easy! We entered the parking garage at the Hyatt Hotel below the restaurant. Easy access to the elevators and went straight up to the restaurant. The restaurant validated our parking pass so no need to pay to park. The outside of the restaurant was very nice. They had outdoor seating and great places to take photos! Especially infront of the fountain! Overall this was a great place to have dinner with my family and would love to return soon! I'd highly recommend Joey!

Our server Sammy was fantastic! It was my wife's birthday as well as a belated Father's Day for my dad & father in law. Sammy found a way to make the night special for all of us. From crème brûlée cheesecake to even a nice card from the Joey's servers. It's not often a restaurant goes out of their way to make celebrating a special occasion that much more memorable.

Went in for a quick lunch today with some colleagues, and the service was excellent. I was unsure of what to order and my server Pamela recommended the mediterranean bowl and it was fantastic! 10/10 experience all around.

Takeout. Joey's charges $8 for this (3 small stems) broccoli. So if you're hungry, or on a budget, or want to feed more than one person without having to take a second mortgage consider your options. Quality vs Quantity vs Value. Are they Punking guests?

I always love coming to Joey. I've never had a bad meal. My favorite is the chicken lettuce wraps, and a new favorite is the steak & ravioli bianco. Lanesha was our server, she was very attentive and a great server!

This place was great. The ambience and decor is very classic chic. They have a great lounge area where you can grab a table or spot at the bar. They also have their formal dining room. People were dressed up and down, but it didn't seem to matter. The staff were great and we go a complementary glass of champagne. The food was top tier. Definitely one of the best steak houses that I've been to. Love the variety of options they have. And the dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. They have a great happy hour. This is a great place for girls night out, date night or celebration!

Had the pleasure of eating my leftover pasta and found two hairs in my food! Appetite killer

Food was absolutely delicious. We started with the french dip sliders ...incredible and the au jus was freaking awesome! For dinner I had the steak and lobster and my wife had the steak and crab cakes. Both were amazingly delicious. Our server Montana was on point and hella attentive. We would rate this location as one of our top 3 favorite restaurants!

Joey's is a classic happy hour spot in Bellevue offering Happy Hour daily 2pm-5pm and 9pm to close on Sunday - Thursday! This location does have parking garage right under so that is nice. The set up is two different spaces with one being all ages and the other 21+. There's a variety of drinks so you don't have to worry about someone not having something they like. Food wise, I'm a huge fan of the truffle fries and chicken lettuce wrap. Staff are also kind and tentative. Never had an issue with any of their service. They are able to answer all my questions and provide great suggestions!

You can never go wrong with grabbing drinks and food at Joey's. I think the plates speak for themselves (just see for yourself). Ambiance was nice and cozy. We sat outside and the fire warmer was on (it was a little chilly but there are also blankets available). Service was good. Definitely coming back!

The food was good albeit pricey, but the speed of service was way too slow. We came with a large group and sat at a few tables. Our food took an hour to come out--by the time my table got our food, some people at the other table had already finished eating! We arrived at 6pm and didn't leave until probably 9pm. Otherwise, if you're willing to pay a premium, the drinks and food I tried all tasted good.

We love it! The food and drinks are outstanding and my husband thinks the wait staff is like being in an 80s Robert Palmer video.

Steak frite app recommended by Taylor was great. Ahi tuna and burgers were great. She took care of us and made the dinner that much better. Cheers

Can't say enough great things about this spot. I reserve five stars for a small group of spots, and they earned it. The service was top notch - attentive, friendly, everything you could ask for. We sat outside and it was beautiful (even with the loud crow who insisted on visiting during dinner). The hummus app was great and the cod main was lite, flavorful and refreshing!
