What an amazing dining experience! Our server, Kevin, was fantastic. The food was so good and I’m happy we chose this place for our anniversary dinner. Highly recommend, an be sure to ask to sit in Kevin’s section. Seriously he is the best!!

It was my first time going to Joey Bentall Location, I celebrated my birthday here. I was very well taken care of, just want to say thank you for making my birthday special! I really enjoyed my time here and the food was great. Thank you guys so much!! Much love

We went here for a birthday dinner and had a really disappointing experience. When I booked I mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday but there was no acknowledgement of that. We were seated at a patio table ( we were inside the restaurant, not outside) that had no candles, salt and pepper or anything that all the other tables had. We requested to be moved to a regular table as the metal seats were uncomfortable. After waiting 40 minutes for our food, the server comes by to ask if we are ready for the check even though we have yet to receive our food. 5 minutes later she comes back with our food. The plate was warm and the food was cold. It had clearly been sitting under the hot lamp for quite some time. We had been waiting far too long so I didn't ask for it to be remade. After our table was cleared we waited for our server to come by as we were going to order dessert. After waiting 20 minutes I had to track down the server to ask for the check as we were tired of waiting. It felt like the server forgot about us multiple times throughout the dinner. The food was well seasoned and probably would have been delicious if it wasn't served cold. I really like to give benefit of the doubt but this was some of the worst service I've ever received and ruined what should have been a memorable birthday dinner.

Came down to Vancouver with my son. Came here to get lunch and WOW! Amazing food and great service by Lilly too. One of the best steaks I've ever had. My son really enjoyed his lobster 🦞 spaghetti as well. Strong Recommendation.

My mom and I came in for lunch and had a wonderful catch up. We were offered bubbles while we waited which was a lovely touch. My mom doesn’t drink but when we sat down, our server, Madeline P., mentioned there was a N/A option (Töst) which such a great suggestion. My mom really enjoyed it and it was nice to be able to “toast” with her! As someone who also works in hospitality, I tend to notice minor details in service and Madeline really hit all the marks. Very impressed and looking forward to doing another lunch or get together with my mom again here as we had such a nice experience. Oh, and the food was fab! But service was just excellent :)

The food was so good, loved the lobster spaghetti and we loved dessert especially. Got to taste test the apple tart and I hope they add it to their menu. Our server Rayka was also so so nice! Overall very good vibe and not too loud of an atmosphere which is rare in the Joey location in my hometown.

We came here with our friends and it was a blast! The food was amazing, there wasn’t a single dish that disappoint. Atmosphere was lively and the staff members were doing their best with a fullhouse Saturday night.

Came for lunch and had a great experience overall. Service was warm and attentive, and the sushi was excellent and very fresh, definitely the highlight. I upgraded to the top-tier steak; it was decent, though not as memorable as the sushi. Nice drinks and atmosphere. Still a solid five-star lunch spot and would return.

Wow! This absolutely blew me away. This restaurant is very upscale without the hefty price point. I was very surprised to see later on that this is a chain because it really doesn't feel like that. We came on a holiday and didn't have reservations so we were put on a waitlist. But it didn't even take 15 minutes and we were already seated. They had so many great sounding items on the menu but I had my heart set on sushi. We got the Hummus appetizer and absolutely loved it. The food came out very quick. I didn't have any drinks that night but they had a great sounding selection on the menu. The restaurant space itself is a little on the smaller side so it got pretty loud at times since it was super busy. Our waitress was very attentive and checked in with us frequently. Overall I highly recommend you stop by this location!

The interior is dark and kind of drab. The hostess was lively and offered to seat us at a booth since we didn't mind the wait. This restaurant seems like a place where large groups can easily gather. It is dimly lit and fortunately we had a table by a picture window. Service was missing and spotty. It took many minutes for someone to come to our table and ask if we'd like a drink. She said we would see our server shortly but she was happy to take an appetizer order. Appetizer: button mushrooms sautéed in a creamy savory sauce. The sauce was flavorful but overall, the dish was mediocre. Cod served on a bed of rice was nicely seasoned, moist-- a substantial piece of fish. Hamburger - two paper thin patties with cheddar cheese, dressing, a couple shreds of lettuce and a pickle. I enjoyed the burger but would have preferred a thinner bun. However the bun was fresh and paired well with the burger after I pulled off the overhanging bits of bread. I had the burger with the side of salad which turned out to be the star of the dish. Very fresh cabbage, beets, bits of mango and raisins, lightly dressed in their signature dressing. Very nice. Our server was so busy in this understaffed, warehouse of a space that we couldn't believe she had a moment to talk with us at the end of the meal. Plus she was taking care of outside patio and a couple of large parties. The management needs to encourage teamwork and hire more staff. The washrooms were an adventure to get to, past the kitchen into another dark restaurant space, with the women's bathroom being upstairs. I would not come back here unless it was the only place available.

I love this upscale restaurant without the upscale prices. If there isn't something on this menu that you want, you're not hungry! It was really hard to choose between all the interesting appetizers, salads, and mains. We settled on the spicy crab dip, which was perfect--probably the best I've ever had, and served with wonderful grilled sour dough toast. For my entree I had the yellowfin tuna salad, a wonderful, almost deconstructed combination of rare tuna, perfectly ripe avocado, mango peanuts, and greens served with a perfect champagne dressing. It's hard to believe this is a small chain, as the food and service have all the marks of a very passionately managed restaurant. Highly recommended.

Food is not bad but I will never order from them again. Place the takeout order and they told me it would be ready at a certain time. I showed up 5 minutes early and they told me I would have to wait another 10 minutes. Well 10 turned into 25 turned into 35 and I got fed up and walked out because it screwed up my entire evening. It's okay for like noisy bar type environments but I'm never giving my business again

This was one of the few restaurants that's open after 10 PM and close to our place of stay. We thought of taking our chances (didn't read the reviews) and went in. It took a few minutes to get a table, but that was fine (probably 10 minutes without any reservation). These were the things we ordered - Spicy Strawberry margarita - very good Japanese Gyoza - good Tuna Poke Bowl - never thought salads could be taste so good !!!! we werent that hungry but wanted to have something light and hence went for salad Yellowfin Tuna Salad - very good, definitely to be included in your order Molten Chocolate Cake - mmmmm...lovely! They had a Test kitchen menu and we ordered the Spicy Crab dip from there - no regrets. the dip was very good but the bread were little burnt for our taste. This place is a definitely to be visited at least once. Our waitress was very good, kept checking on us and was also patient. Ambience was lively.

My office likes to drop by here to celebrate the season. I was looking forward to coming here again as the experience last time was solid. I started off with the sushi and prawn tacos. I didn't think they were anything spectacular, but they were a nice starter. They tasted good and I appreciated that a crunchy taco didn't explode when I bit into it. I grabbed the classic steak and added prawns to the side. The prawns weren't amazing and probably not worth adding as a side. The steak itself was cooked well and seasoned well. The fully loaded crispy potatoes shaped like a spring roll were surprisingly really good. They were likely the highlight of the dish for me with a great contrast of crispy and smoothness of the mashed potato. I capped it off with the s'mores ice cream pie. I thought it was really good overall. I loved the dollops of marshmallow whipped cream. It can be a bit strange as it's not evident it's a different type of whipped cream if you're not paying attention to that. Ultimately, I was very pleased with my time at Joey's once again. I hope to be back there next year for another holiday party.

I love coming to Joey's. I've been to this location a few times now for various happy hours and early dinners. This review is based on my two most recent visits. Ordered: Sunshine beer, Tuna Poke Bowl, Yam Fries and Roasted Corn Guacamole. Holy moley this meal was good. The Roasted Corn Guac has to be one of the standouts in the guacamole world that I've tried. The roasted corn added this subtle sweetness and it had crumbled salty cheese on top - so good! The poke bowl had so much flavour and knocked any other poke bowl I've ordered out from my mind. This stood alone as the one poke bowl to rule them all. The scene was an after work crowd, not too loud, but it wasn't quiet either. Happy Hour: Red Sangria, Cuvee Red, Truffle Fries, Korean Cauliflower, Slider Duo Duo of Donuts, and one side of the Crispy Mash. Wow, I wish every mashed potatoes came like this, it was like an egg roll stuffed with mashed potatoes and topped with bacon and cheese and sour cream, drool. Everything was delicious, korean fried cauliflower (whic I don't see often) was nicely breaded and had a good kick to it. Cass looked after us and she was fantastic in helping us with the menu. In both instances, service was great from the moment you enter. Everyone here is very attentive and friendly.

The have a great happy hour for drinks ($5). It jumps up quite significantly after happy hour. I recommend coming for happy hour. The food was alright. My burger and fries were not hot. The truffle fries would have been better if the cheese had melted a bit.

Upscale dining and with a great happy hour menu. Our server, Nour, was fabulous! The yam fries were delicious and the sangria was perfect! Lots of tables across a couple of floors so there is space to cover parties of all sizes. Definitely check them out for happy hour!

First time here and really enjoyed it! A few of us ordered the filet mignon with the crunchy mashed potatoes, and it was outstanding. The service was good and the ambience is very cool and relaxing. Great place and highly recommend!

Cool ambience , warm welcome with a glass of bublee! Delicious noodles and cool server Jordan who made our night with his sauve ways and smooth sense of humor. Super children friendly , right next to the parking garage ! As swanky as Joeys DTLA and Newport Beach.

My most recent visit after coming to this over the years and this location never disappoints as the food has always been consistent. Although the original sushi steak combo used to be on a cedar plank which was instead picture worthy (see my previous review from 2022) - the presentation was much nicer than before. Flaky apple tart with the Canadian maple ice cream is always a treat and I only order this when wanting dessert here. Being from the states, I wish we had something similar to the Joey Cactus Club empire so I always get my foodie fix when I come to those two restaurant chains when in Canada.

Delicious. Everything was both estheticly pleasing and pleasing to the palate. Every dish was superb down to the desserts.

Sean was one of the best bartenders I've ever had. I had been up since 5am and had a long, stressful day. His service & presence literally made my day. & it was a stressful day of long hours of work & a flood in my apartment - so I greatly appreciated it. Exotically having worked for over a decade in the industry and now running two businesses of my own - I really take note of and appreciate good customer service. Especially realizing it's more uncommon than common. Jackie was a PHENOMENAL hostess as well. This girl's energy A+++ Nick was awesome as well as a take over bartender. Will definitely be back to compensate Sean since I couldn't close out with him since he had closed out already. Also even if he hadn't I would have come back for his exceptional service and presence.

I recently visited Vancouver and had the good fortune of dining at Joeys. I was very impressed by the service and friendliness of every staff member we interacted with. Mackenzie was our server and truly enhanced our experience. She was extremely helpful in working through the menu with us. We were a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaruent had a nice vibe, however the music was a bit load making conversation difficult. The expansive menu has something for everyone, and the quality of the meals was truly outstanding. They have several locations and will visit when i am in Southern Cal.

Was a late night at work on a Wednesday after setting up at the home show Saw this place within minutes of driving home and decided to stop in Glad we did! It was only about 15 mins to happy hr so we waited and ordered the avocado dip to start and I just needed a burger & Beer after a day like that so Okanagan Springs 1516 was the way to go and the happy hr bacon cheddar burger with fries My wife had the tuna poke bowl. Everything was really good especially the avocado dip! It totally hit the spot that evening. Our server was great Really personable and on it with everything. It's a big open space that has modern but elegant vibe and we had a nice table beside the window with a view of the city lights. One of the best chain restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. Will Definitely be a place on our radar whenever downtown.

Great restaurant and bar for solo eaters. I went late night on a Thursday to treat myself after a long travel day. Hostess was very accommodating to get me a spot and take my order very promptly. Food was cooked exactly how I wanted and all parts of the experience was great. Ambiance was superb with the moody lighting. The cuts of steak were excellent and was great with the greens and potatoes served.

After having a drink here the night before we decided to have dinner as a treat to ourselves. The service is generally very good, and the atmosphere is lively. We didn't have to wait too long for any of our dishes. (Though to be fair we arrived at 4pm on a Saturday.) Our sushi cone appetizer absolutely stole the show for the evening! In fact we liked it so much we ordered two more after dinner. The jumbo lump crab cake appetizer was better than average for a restaurant, but while there was a fair amount of crab it was overpowered by the bed of sauces that it was served on. We look forward to eating crab to taste fresh crab not sauces. My wife's salmon entrée was a decent size portion and was cooked very nicely, but it was a bit salty. Fresh salmon really doesn't need additional salt. My Joey classic steak was a 7 ounce sirloin which tasted good and had some nice spices added but it was a bit chewy for a $40 steak. It was served with what they called fully loaded crispy mashed potatoes. I get what they are trying to do serving a roll of mashed potatoes shaped and fried like an eggroll on the outside but it really didn't work. The fresh vegetables that accompanied both of our entrées were OK, nothing special. Overall we had a very nice evening and at half the price I would've given four stars in my review, but for what you get at Joey it is quite overpriced. We would rush to return to enjoy their Sushi Cone appetizers and a glass of wine but I wouldn't pay to eat dinner here again.

Fantastic! Sit at the bar kick back and enjoy great food, great food and Sean - a great bartender server. Highly recommend the "mini steak beef dips" and the "hibachi wings" or take Sean's recommendations.

Received a glass of champagne upon arrival and, as usual, the service and food were great. Our go to order is Blackened chicken, Korean Fried cauliflower, and yam fries.

Howdy folks. How are all of my fellow Yelpers doing? Well, as with my previous review, we are still north of the international border, and right now I am going to introduce you to a restaurant called JOEY Bentall One. Only at the time that I ate there I only knew the place as simply "Joey's." But when I went to write this review I discovered that there was more than one. Ok let's get into it. My Canadian friend, whose name also happens to be Nathaniel, suggested this place. Upon walking in I could tell right away that this was somewhat of an upscale establishment based on the decor and the fact that the people there, both staff and patrons, were dressed a lot nicer than I was. It was a little intimidating at first. But the complimentary champagne that the hostess offered killed those feelings pretty quickly. So my friend and I are seated in a spacious and comfortable booth. It wasn't long before a server arrived and took our drink orders. Nathaniel went with a diet coke. How boring. I went with my usual which is a margarita on the rocks. Our server left and was back with our drinks within' a fairly reasonable amount of time which I digged. Let's get into that margarita. Now I'll come right out and say that am somewhat of a snob when it comes to what I expect in a margarita. I wouldn't say that I was super thrilled with my Joey's margarita. But I wasn't totally disappointed either. It was a bit on the foamy side which isn't a super big deal. The only problem with that is that sometimes you discover that there is more foam in the glass and less liquid. But as for the way it tasted, it had a decent blend of all the ingredients. Could've been a little bit stronger on the alcohol side though. It definitely wasn't an Ivanhoe Pub margarita. But I'll still give it a pass. Now let's talk about the food itself. I ended up going with the California Chicken Sandwich. The menu listed it as having spicy mayo(that did it right there), aged cheddar, and smokey bacon. Although the menu didn't list it as having a vegetables on it, I'm glad I decided to ask our server because come to find out, it did come with those nasty veggies. I found that quite odd that the menu wouldn't list the vegetables that were on the sandwich. Maybe that's just an American thing. I don't know. But what I do know is that this "Nasty" guy doesn't do veggies. I'm all about that meat baby. Anyways, back to the food. I will say that my sandwich was pretty tasty. The chicken was cooked properly, and what I mean by that is it wasn't overcooked so as to deny letting that juiciness come out. The spicy mayo was a nice touch as it added some great flavor. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed on was the size. It just seemed a bit small. I was expecting something much bigger as that's what I've grown accustomed to when dinning at a restaurant of this caliber in the states. That's the only reason why I'm holding off on that extra star. But the quality of the sandwich made up for the lack of quantity. Before I wrap this review up I want to make mention of the excellent service at JOEY Bentall One. The staff there seemed friendly and not in the phony way that you see at so many of these big corporate establishments. You know the kind were the servers are constantly trying to up sell. "For $2 more we'll add whip cream to your coke. For a $1 more we'll put a cherry on top." The Olive Garden is notorious for crap like this. Here the staff genuinely seemed like they were interested in providing good customer service to their customers. I dig that. Anyways, I think I'll go ahead and wrap this review up by saying that if you want to enjoy some delicious food in a cozy friendly atmosphere, then I'd say JOEY Bentall One is the place for you. I know I'd go back there. Only thing is that next time I may have to order two California Chicken Sandwiches instead of one. So this review is going to end with a "Nasty" rating of 8 Fingers. Rolled into Vancouver and saw a place named after me. So of course we chose to eat there. The food was absolutely incredible. The server Sarah took incredible care of our table with great drink and food recommendations and was very attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely return whenever we find ourselves in Vancouver.

Looking for a nice place to "sit a spell" in Vancouver after clambering off a Disney Wonder--ful cruise ship. Sat outside on the patio with cocktails and great Asian food. A far cry from the majestic scenery of Alaskan cruise, but majestic in it's own way. Lettuce wraps: perfection. Japanese Gyoza: fantastic. A little confusion with the cocktails (a vodka gimlet needed some explaining). All in all, a fun mid-afternoon happy hour.

To be honest, Joey is our favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Although shipyards has our heart - we did venture down to the Bentall location and we had the best time! We were expecting a more uptight corporate atmosphere but we were pleasantly surprised by the vibe! The food was incredible as per usual, perfectly pairing with the cocktails. Our server Maddy was a ray of sunshine and provided excellent service. She was friendly and answered all the questions we had! Looking forward to visiting again!

JOEY Bentall One is perhaps one of the greatest restaurants in the downtown core. The extensive, food, cocktail and wine menu has something perfect for everyone. Their atmosphere is lively and great for any occasion. The team exudes amazing hospitality and is very engaging. Recommend this place to all my friends and family.

This place has a fun happy hour and great food. I enjoyed the staff who are attractive, refined and nice. I'll definitely go back.

On our last night in YVR we opted to stay close to our hotel for dinner and opted for Joey as we had walked by it multiple times during our stay and the place always seemed to be jumpin'. The front of house guy was super fun and terribly cute as was our server, so that always makes for a good start to the night. Probably had some of the best pita chips and hummus laden generously with tzatziki to start. I had the spicy butter tofu which came with pappadam, nan, and a genrous mound of rice. My friend had pomodoro, which was a bit spicy. Espresso martinis were on point.

I love this location. Tall ceilings, huge walls of glass, great vistas of downtown crowds, sculptures, and the Fairmont hotel. Sarah E. was an engaging server, informative, confident and relaxed and gave great menu suggestions! The raspberry gin martini is a new menu item exploding with raspberry flavor and has a lovely "mouth feel" with the whipped egg whites. The Peruvian-Japanese ceviche was delicious and refreshing with perfect little morsels of seafood. The soy and cilantro overpowered the subtle flavors, for me, but great textures and would order it again. The truffled chicken was incredible, and I don't usually order chicken. It was beautifully moist, tender, subtly flavored and had a perfectly seasoned crispy crust - it was surprisingly good. I substituted the veggies for the browned potato salad that was mouth-wateringly good and hit all the right umami notes. Banana bread dessert - perfect comfort food. Not too soft, not too gooey, and no rum flavor to overpower the other flavors. Delectable. Nick, the sous-chef, came to talk to me and was not only excited about the new dishes but was really open to suggestions about them. That really made for a special memory of the evening, being able to talk to the chef. Overall, a perfect meal in a beautiful setting with great service. I will definitely be back.

Came here for a glass of wine after a long city hike. It's a very large, sleek place with a high energy vibe. The menu is very diverse and I was impressed by all of the options although I did not actually order any food. The bartender was very helpful in making wine selections. I'm surprised they don't have more local wines by the glass.

Been to this JOEY many times over the years, but this is only the second time in 2021. Loved the sangria, my usual drink at JOEY. Tried the tuna poke bowl, while it looked nice, and it was kind of okay, I don't think I'd have it again here. May stick to my old favourites here instead like steak and sushi.

The food was very good. We went late which meant happy hour all over. The Korean cauliflower was so good, it may be a little spicy if you aren't a fan of spice, perfect crunch. My husband really enjoyed the hummus, I liked that tzatziki center. Would recommend for a low key late night drink, snack or dinner.

Service was good but somewhat slow. I asked for a refill on my drink and it took them awhile to bring it over. So I am guessing maybe because we had a big group. Food was good. This location is closer to the offices and tends to be busier than the other Burrard location. Prices are reasonable. If you have a big group remember to make a reservation. My favorite lunch dish is their Ahi Tuna Burger.

I wanted to give a shout out to Kris and Keri at Joey Bental restaurants. Incredible service and kindness during a difficult night where there were a series of unfortunate events. Keri went above and beyond and out of her way to help provide incredible service and was incredibly professional. I highly recommend coming here for great service and friendly staff!

Stopped in for a quick lunch during the weekday. This place gets BUSY but service is quick and efficient. We were seated right away at the bar (dining area had a 15 min wait). I had the beef dip with a side salad. Flavours were great! The jus was super flavourful and portion was good (I had to pack up half the sandwich). Value isn't the greatest as my sandwich and side salad was $21 before tax and gratuity. Good place for a work lunch or for big groups as they have TONS of seating.

Nice atmosphere, great food selection and the meals are decently sized. The service however feels slow which makes the experience less enjoyable. I would still go back.

Super cool wine bar, sexy, and good energy happy hour. The sliders taste like White Castle but grilled bun and not wet lol. For anyone that has had White Castle you know what I'm talking about. The cauliflower was also delicious. I would definitely go back.

This is a real hip restaurant to have food and drinks. The ambiance is cool and the service is absolutely top notch with a good dose of genuine smiles. They have some decent plant based dishes and I decided to have the House made veggie burger with a side of yam fries. The burger does not taste or look like the fake looking veggie burgers found in the majority of wanna be establishments. This burger is delicious and satisfying: the bun was perfectly soft and the burger made with a mixture of mushrooms, brown rice, almonds and miso sauce with some sprouts. If you are looking for a veggie option, don't hesitate to try this combination as it will not disappoint.

Great service, tasty and artistically presented creative flavors. Had Baja Tacos, Tuna and Mango Salad and Sushi cone. Warm Italian Donuts. Yummy. Sat outside. Highly recommend.

Upscale fast casual, as evidenced by the well-dressed patrons sucking up their "Super Happy Happy Hour" specials as we moved from 6:00 into 7:00 pm. It's a neat spot that is nicely appointed in steel and glass and mirrors with fancy drinks from the bar or fancy entrees from the kitchen. Poor schlub that I am, I sat at the bar in tshirt and jeans with my one frosty beer and watched the patrons come and go. This isn't a Tilted Kilt / Twin Peaks sort of place but the ladies working the bar and the tables were well dressed in black dresses and tops. It's clear that they would like their staff to be attractive and show *some* skin but nothing offensive or inappropriate.

First time to this branch for New Years Eve dinner and our experienced was very good. The place is a bit busy and very warm in temperature. My favorite Bellini was perfect and the Ahi Tuna Sandwich tastes really good. The staff are friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back here.

Super friendly staff, great drinks but below average food compare to the other Joey down the street. Also, ventilation seems to be poor too at this location.

I've been here quite a bit and it's a fairly solid experience each time. The service is always friendly and quick. Where I think it's lacking a tad is in pricing and coming off as a bit pretentious. Today for instance, I had the beef tataki and seared aburi salmon on the side. I ordered the steak rare but it was definitely medium rare creeping toward the medium side. It was still tasty but it was drenched in whatever ponzu sauce that came with it. The seared aburi salmon was ok, but not bursting of flavour like other places. They were smaller pieces than I remember when I ordered the aburi starter a couple visits ago. All in all it was a decent dish but I think it was a little too hyped up for $26. Pair that with a glass of 9 ounce house white for $15.5 and that's a pricey lunch. As mentioned the visits here are fairly consistent in delivery but I've never thought the price reflected the visit as there's so many other places that just do it a tad bit better for the same price :)

Came to this Joey's location are part of a small celebration. Just a block away from Burrard skytrain station so pretty convenient to get to. Hostess was able to tell me where our party was seated but didn't bother to bring me over even though it didn't seem that busy. Food and drinks here are pretty standard, although I would definitely say are a bit pricey for the portions that you get. I got a burger and fries which was a bit on the small side -- burger was fine and so were the fries -- but definitely didn't make me feel full. Basic beers are decently priced but any mixed drinks are probably a bit overpriced. Overall, nice ambiance to the place with decent service from the servers, and located in a great central location to have an event. However, the food portions could be better. Taste itself was good but I would go elsewhere for a meal.

First off-- if you ever need to make reservations, ensure you have the correct location. I made my reservations online not realizing they had another restaurant on the same street. Intending to book this location for lunch, I inadvertently reserved at the Burrard location. When I arrived, the hostess clarified the difference & straighted out my error. Nice lady! Thanks a bunch. Didn't get her name but she was tall, slim build with a pony tailed dark brown hair. Kudos to her for making my lunch date possible. Food was tasty, however my chicken burger was a bit salty. Ordered the yam fries that cost extra. Yummy fries. Wait server was attentive & fully deserved the tip I gave her. Parking is available at nearby parkades- I didn't use as I found it more convenient to use Skytrain & get off at the Burrard Stn. Definitely will try this location again.

Well my burger was perfect - so ya! Busy Canada day festivities made us real hungry and we stumbled upon JOEY. They had a nice patio with lots of umbrellas for shade. I was feeling the burger, and it was really really good. Nothing too crazy fancy thankfully. And the fries were thin cut, just how I love them. My partner enjoyed a Buddha bowl. It looked quite nice. Ya, I'd definitely stop in here again when I'm craving a delicious burger. OMGawd. Today's lunch was the Bombay Butter Tofu, and it was AMAAAZING. SOOO good. So good.

Came here for a gathering with my co-workers, a simple get together and have a night out at Joey's. It was Friday night and we all decided to meet at 6:30 pm. I was driving and wanted to park around the area. Street parking is somewhat harder to find on a Friday night - and if you do find parking it is at a premium $10.00 for two hours - well what can I say it's downtown. Since my group arrived ahead of me by half an hour they were already there and have a table. They mentioned that didn't have to wait that long - 15-20 mins, which was great. I walked in and there seems to be a vast majority of people waiting to get a table. While going to host, I said that I'm looking for my group and went in to find them. The restaurant had a great ambience, trendy, loungey type atmosphere and it was very busy. Great crowd! One thing about this restaurant it has a "different" type of layout. While one section is one half of the restaurant you have to go to the "other side" which was different. Kinda strange where one wouldn't expect to walk through the serving area. Once we all got together we ordered the drinks, entrees and the order was prepared on time 20-25 mins. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. It was hot tomatoey, full of flavour and very tasty. Quite delicious! The service was great, the ensured we had enough drinks, water, napkins and came by regularly to ensure we were satisfied with our meals. Very friendly and approachable staff that made sure we were taken care of. Overall experience is great, layout is strange hence the 4 stars - service is welcoming. I will come back!
