Joey's Hostel Agra

We stayed at Joey’s in Agra for one night and had a room for two with a direct view of the Taj Mahal. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the entrance, and the view from the rooftop and even our room was unforgettable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The room was simple but clean, and having the Taj Mahal right outside the window made the experience truly special. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Agra!

Amazing place 100% recommended! The staff is super kind and helpful, rooms are beautiful and clean, they have a rooftop bar with delicious food and drinks, breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal. We booked the deluxe room and got upgraded to the honeymoon suite for free. Our stay in Agra could not have been better. 🥰🙏

I am writing this review from the bathtub in the Honeymoon Suite From our bed we have a spectacular view of Taj - the only reason anyone would come to this horrible city. Do yourself a favour and book in at Joey’s Agra - just 3 minutes walk to the East Gate entrance to Taj - if you have 3000 to spare book the Honeymoon suite - it will not disappoint! The cheaper rooms still have easy access to the view. Loved our stay here!

I stayed at Joey's Hostel based on a friend's recommendation and I was impressed. I called on the mobile number to seek details about the railway station that I need to get off and they were quite helpful with the info. ||The stay was comfortable. The staff were courteous and helpful. Their recommendations helped me see more tourist places more than I had planned for. They also arranged for a reliable auto persons to take me around the tourist places and to drop me off at the railway station. The cafe at the hostel offers great roof top view of the monument.||The hostel is a walking distance from the entry of the Taj Mahal which made it easy for me to go in early to visit the monument at 5 am. There a few restaurants in walking distance from the hostel.

"Dad you can touch the Taj Mahal!" my son said "Its so near." You could literally touch the Taj Mahal (the most beautiful building in the World) from the roof top terrace. We enjoyed countless breakfasts on the terrace whilst gazing at the gorgeous Taj Mahal. You couldn't get a better view while breakfasting. The rooms are very good but need to be cleaned more thoroughly. We found dirt on the cistern.

A great place to stay when visiting the Taj, the view of the Taj is wonderful. I had a private room, good AC & fan. The staff were superhelpful with great recommendations. Thanks for a good stay

Joeys is no doubt very well located, only a short walk from the Taj Mahal. And the roof does have a lovely view of it. However, the hostel itself is not very nice, it was not very clean, the room we were in (private twin room) had no windows, it was small and dark and not a nice looking room. For the purpose of our stay, to see the Taj, this was fine but I would not recommend it other than for this, especially if you are a woman on your own, there were quite a few guys sat around, and the reception is in a different building to some of the rooms.

We had the best view from our room, Taj Mahal just in front of us. The shower didn’t work, there was never hot water, the bathtub didn’t work either, the staff at the desk on the other side of the hostel had some homophobic comments which were very inappropriate.
