Excellent location. Rooms are very comfortable. AC works. Staff is awesome. And the general ambience in the pub is just so inviting and friendly you want to extend your stay. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Great hub for people doing Vietnam on bike. Highly recommended. PS: this is not a party hostel. However, every evening has a different theme/activity such as Open Mic with a band, or Pop Quiz Night. The place is always buzzing.

One of the best experiences I have had so far staying in a hostel. This place in Quy Nhong is the best choice for any traveler wanting to relax in friendly atmosphere. The staff are always at the ready to help the rooms are well kept and the food is good. But the best thing about John And Paul is the have love music every night with different bands and a free beer during happy hour to start your evening. I’ll recommend this hostel to anyone planning to visit Quy Nhong. It’s only a few minutes from the beach and close to bus station. ATM and restaurants. They even book the rest of my trip with a shuttle to the station.

Likes: Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. There're balconies for you to hang your wet clothes. It's just 5 minutes walk to the beach but I recommend you of renting a bike to go around the city and explore Vietnamese cuisine such as Bun Ca (Noodle with Fish), Banh Xeo Tom Nhay (Vietnamese Pancake with Shrimp, Beef and Squid), Bun Ram (Rice Noodle with kind of crab), Goi Cuon Ca (Fish Roll); as well as head to Eo Gio and Ky Co (takes about 30 minutes). Quy Nhon itself is generally under development and somehow still maintains its personality. Travel and feel it. Dislikes: I didn't feel the atmosphere of backpacking here and this is a big MINUS from me. You may need a more open space as well as activities to make it more living.

This place is amazing! Good food, great people, cheap drinks, friendly staff and you'll get the chance to meet heaps of people, locals and internationals!

Rotating event schedule like many other hostels but live music at night and small cafe during the day work perfectly. Music never disturbed my sleep and since Quy nhon isn't a tourist hotspot, most everyone is friendly and welcoming without the 'get-smashed-party-hostel' vibe.

John & Paul Hostel, the only place to stay in Quy nhon. My plan was to stay at J&P for a week, but ended up being my home for 4 months. The hostel team are good, warm people, who’ll work hard to make your stay an awesome one. They provide a load of social entertainment at night and during the day recommend things to see in the area. Qui nhon has more to see and discover than most people and even google realize before arriving. Rent a scooter or a honda win for a day trip, adventure out to the sitting Buddha, one of the many beaches, cham towers or sign up at the front desk and go sand boarding! J&P is a high quality stay for an amazing rate, restaurants every where but try the hostel one! Honestly these guys might do the biggest, best burgers in Vietnam, even better i’d say than the famous Hoi an juicy Lucy. They have live music, the beach is a 5min walk, Sports bar just down the road. Quickly visit before Qui nhon is overrun with tourists. I love this place, this town and this hostel will always have a special place in my heart.

They organize an English Speaking Club every Wed on interesting games and foreign voyagers communicating. Most of them are students or effusive young guys. Friendly staffs. But food & drink has quite high prices.

Fine facilities in a nice newer looking rock and roll themed bar/restaurant but it feels they care more about the bar than the hostel. Dinner closed very early.
