John Devoy’s Bar & Kitchen

Great spot for brunch with a cool, well-decorated interior. They offer both high-top and regular tables. The service is excellent—friendly and attentive. The food is great, and while I’m not usually a burger person, it was delicious! Generous portions at a great price. Also a perfect place for happy hour drinks!

Food and atmosphere was amazing!!! Elizabeth was absolutely amazing!! We came for the oysters and we weren’t disappointed. The tuna tarte was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back and order again.

Excellent brunch options w/ mimosas. Loved the brisket The folks here are really nice, they changed the channel for us as there weren't that many people early in the morning. I would say the atmosphere is more bar-y so not as great for brunch for that reason. Still, a great spot with Irish decor and looks like they've got a lot of other great options on the menu too!

A new Irish Pub in the Flatiron area on Park Ave. A woman owned business with outstanding prices and $1 Oysters. Well stocked bar and great cocktails. They have two bar areas and an upstairs party room. Food is excellent and menu has something for everyone. They accommodate large groups really well and it is a great place for after work drinks.

This place is literally PARADISE away from work and the outside world. I am here any and every moment that allows me to catch a breather. Ashley, Elizabeth, Fena and Alisha are all top notch people and incredible individuals. Thank you all for making this place a haven to come to everyday.

We wanted to try this spot out -since it recently opened. It was a truly delightful experience. The wings were so crisp and favorable. Luke provided the most exceptional customer service !!! We felt at home. Loved the decor too. Reasonably priced to boot ! Will be back for the $1 oysters.

I live in the neighborhood yet had never been to John Devoy's. Was walking past and of course noticed the $1.00 oysters. Settled into a nice table and ordered a dozen oysters...and their side of their $6.00 mashed potatoes. I know, a strange meal but it was ridiculously good. I asked the superb waiter if they had gravy on the side and he said he'd ask. He returned and said that they could make gravy for me...and that's what they did. The chef literally made it from scratch. And it was literally the best gravy I've ever had and transformed the mashed. The oysters were great, and the presentation was perfect, on a huge platter of ice, two oyster forks, two lemon wedges, some Tabasco, cocktail sauce, and some sort of green sauce. It was absolutely superlative. John Devoy's is beautiful inside. Great atmosphere. And plenty of TVs for sports. Even better, they have the volume completely muted.

Great Guiness pours, & fresh $1 oysters 7 days a week - not sure what more you can ask for ? This is an awesome place - a new destination !

Incredible pub tucked in park ave south and flat iron district. Best happy hour. Incredible staff. Drinks strong. Service stronger! Skip the fake tourist Irish pubs. Come see these folks and be treated like family.

Love the dark ambiance. But also feels like sports bar with TVs everywhere to watch the game. Delicious sandwich and yummy cosmo. Cannot wait to come back

This bar is the best new addition to Park Ave South / Flatiron in years! My husband and I stumbled in by chance for a quick bite to eat, and we fell in love. The food and atmosphere were awesome, and our bartender ended up showing us their private little bar upstairs. We just hosted a birthday party for my family there at the weekend and it was top notch. Everyone loved it! The space, the food, the drinks and the hospitality we recieved were incredible. Proud to now consider ourselves regulars of this beautiful neighborhood spot. :)

Decor is very thoughtful and has a modern but slightly rustic aesthetic. Beautiful place to hold a date night or a get together with friends. Happy hour is good and lasts until 8pm. Food is fair, I've tried the salad and burger. I come here for the drinks and the oyster deal.

This place knows how to do it! Good food, full beers and good laughs are guaranteed by the staff. Very cool decor for a date or happy hour! Highly suggest!

Just had a private party here for family and friends and this place was perfect! They have a great room upstairs that's decorated really nice and has great atmosphere. We had some trays of appetizers and a chocolate cake which where all delicious. Elesha was amazing and made our party extra special. I highly recommend!

This is the typical Irish Bar and Restaurant. It's homey and cozy and the staff is super friendly. Alicia, the owner is awesome and loves to know the customers by name. This places gives the Cheers vibe- where everybody knows your name. It's off the charts awesome. Drinks are good, food is good and service is great. If you love seafood, I totally recommend the mussels and linguini.

Review for 9-21-24. A relatively new bar. Nice decor and ambiance. Friendly staff. Happy hour until 8 and dollar oysters which is my jam. I will be back.

I would normally recommend this more but I don't want everyone knowing how amazing this is so.. bottom line, it's a place to stop by (and please order the grilled oysters or, for the current 90 degrees days, the $1 oysters -- yes until 8pm -- please don't tell

good vibes and drinks and service. Caesar salad dressing very weird tasting and should be changed. Oysters small and very tasty .French fries were very good too. I'd go back

Normally I don't leave reviews but it's deserving of it. Super clean, great food, great drinks, staff is welcoming and friendly. As a native New Yorker it will be a new regular stop.
