"Vancouver’s Coolest Shoes Playful shoe designer John Fluevog’s flagship store is right in Gastown on Water Street in a gorgeous two-storey glass-fronted building that houses the design team upstairs and you’ll find his eccentrically elegant designs on the ground floor. I love his designs, and there’s always a cute message on the soles so make sure you flip them over to look when you visit."

Fluevog Shoes are always a compliment attractor. I've owned at least 25 pairs over the years and I can't count the number of times I've been stopped by people saying "sweet shoes" or "love the boots". Their sizing information on the website is generally very accurate, so it is one of the few places I buy shoes online without trying them; when in doubt, check in with their staff by email for fit recommendations. Love a good Fluevog Chelsea Boot.

I wanna thank Tracy, the shop assistant, for her great service and positive attitude and for sharing her tips with me. I’m slowly becoming a big fan of the company and just bought my second pair of boots and first glasses. Yay! Oh, and the interior design of this particular shop in Gastown is fantastic!!!! I felt special. Thank you for treating us like friends. P.S. Yes, they provided me with the socks for try ons, that’s why they are a bit unmatching ;)

Google
The Dr Seuss of footwear. Always new and unique designs for men and women. Shoes run $200-500cad/pair, retail. But you will receive compliments on them regularly and will have them for the rest of your life. I just wish they had giveaway contests because not everyone has that cash to invest in their fabulous feet :)) But I treat it like a gallery: enjoy the spectacular interior and don’t look at the price tags ;))

Google
Such a unique and pleasing store!! Beautiful shoes and building design—being constructed in between two other buildings. Very bright inside… great place to stop by in Gastown.

If I could give this location a negative rating I would. While the staff is friendly enough in person, the Gastown location is the most unprofessionally run business I have ever experienced and is an absolute disgrace in comparison to other Fluevog stores. For even the most minor repairs on your shoes spend the money on a water taxi and go to Granville or a cobbler that you trust, as this is an outsourced service. I dropped my shoes off to get polished and they were forgotten for two months. After being rediscovered there was some minor wear on the sole that I was advised to fix. When the shoes were returned to me four months from being dropped off they were completely destroyed and unwearable. My shoes were returned to me with scratches, tool marks, glue hanging off, holes in the leather, and a detached sole that was already buckling. When contacted, the response I was given was that my shoes were in poor condition (note that the damage to the sole was not even noticed when they were originally dropped off for polishing) and that if I felt it necessary I could be refunded what I spent on repairs but any others were out of pocket. In conclusion, my attempt to spruce up my shoes for an event has left them unwearable and me spending CONSIDERABLY more on fixing Gastown's damage than the original price I was refunded for their mistakes.

Google
No Price Protection and Strict Return/Exchange Policy I'm deeply disappointed with this store's pricing practices and return policy. I purchased the Classy Wiggle Shoe on December 19th at full price ($429), only to see it drop to $299.99 on Boxing Day and then further to $199.99 shortly after - a 53% total price reduction in just a few weeks. I also bought another two pairs on December 22nd that also dropped after Boxing Day. While I understand seasonal sales are common, having such extreme price reductions in rapid succession feels unfair to loyal customers. The store has a strict return/exchange policy and no price protection at all. This pricing strategy seems designed to maximize profits at the expense of customer loyalty. As a result of this experience, I'll be more hesitant to make future purchases here.

Fluevogs are art for your feet. I've met John himself, what a lovely human being. The staff are the most fabulous people.

Love going to this store in historic Gastown ♥️👠 Had wonderful service from Bennett helping my husband find his new pair of Vlogs. We got there 45 mins before closing, and not once did he nor his colleague Tracie, rush us. Thanks again for the great service! Looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
I can't tell you how much I love my John Fluvog shoes. Each and everyone of them have their own special character. I always get compliments on them and there are so many I want.

Yelp
i am a founding customer of this company and shopped here since it was Fox and Fluevog on Granville St in Vancouver. i currently have 4 pieces in my collection. i went on line in the first week of Oct 2024 and bought my 4th pair of boots in my size on sale it was the last pair in my size. less than 2 weeks later the entire website went on 15% off sale items and ALL!!!! This company refused to do a price adjustment. they were so, shallow, tacky and crass about it and I will never shop here again and I will not be telling anyone any more where I bought my items as i get compliments on them every where i go!!!!!!! I am not a walking wallet. it is because of me they even have a business at all!!!!!! shame of fluevog.

Yelp
COVID #36 It's about time I did a review for Fluevog. I have 3 pairs and on my way to a fourth and likely more. Yes, I'm a shoe hound. Chose to write about the Gastown location, even though I've been to the Granville location as well. First things first. They are pricier than your run of the mill shoe. Let's get that out of the way right now. You get what you pay for, and these are much better constructed than say, a pair of Aldo shoes. The second thing. Style wise, from a male perspective, they are not for the faint of heart. Boundaries are pushed. You *can* get some more conservative designs, but there are also designs I know that I cannot pull off, such as the Garric Swordfish models. It's simply not me, and I can't pull off a look like that. The ones I have are conservative, relative to Fluevog's other offerings, but with a little more edge. Shoes for a corporate drone who doesn't want to look like a corporate drone. Pro tips: 1. They do have sales. Look for them. I do. 2. For the limited edition shoes, they also go on sale. Buy it right away if you like them. They will sell out of your size if they're popular enough 3. They're addictive. Once you get your first pair, watch out! 4. It's not what you wear, it's how you put it together.

Yelp
Very poor customer service and rigid policies, do yourself a favour and do not expect anything good from this company if you need to return. Disrespectful store managers, that can't come up with options or creative solutions. and they will make you feel bad that you have not learnt their policies by heart when they actually had promotions with special conditions that nobody seems to remember or take accountability for. congratulations Fluevog, you lost a fan and a good customer. I introduced 4 of my friends to your brand, you lost them too !!

Yelp
Purchased a pair of ankle boots from the Gastown Store in November 2022. +$550.00. Mid-January - the heel fell off. Low heel, just came off. Boots were worn maybe 10 times. 8th month repair policy for defective shoes - not replaced. But here's the thing - rude store manager who spoke to me like a child when I shared my concern about repairing boots that were hardly worn rather than replacing them. AND - if the problem happens again, we only have 8 months guarantee from the DATE OF PURCHASE in November - not from the date they were returned from repair. CHAD was not interested in my concerns and repeatedly and belittlingly continued to repeate "its our policy" - multiple times. Policies need to be reviewed and customers concerns need to be acknowledged. This is a $500+ pair of shoes that did not last two months! Now my 8 month guarantee on the REPAIR will run out in June (becaue they were purchased in November) - no more Fluevogs for this house!

Mandy H.

Yelp
Paid almost $400 on a sale for a pair of boots. Have worn them a total of eight times and both heels have fallen off. Five nails in each heel are shorter than thumb tacks and about as much use. The joint between heel and upper revealed only a glazing of dry glue on the upper and absolutely clean on the heel. Both times the heel has fallen off while I was at work, with no way to access another pair of shoes, so I'm forced to hop around the office and apologise to clients. In addition, the uppers have developed cracks where the front of heel meets the upper and the trim is in poir condition for being almost new and unworn. I am not hard on shoes, and have only worn these to the office, so there's no readon for the deterioration except shoddy workmanship. The quality of the leather is also really bad - hard, shiny and unyielding. I don't work downtown and can't be arsed to go through the schlep of complaining, only to have my shoes repaired by someone, and probably not to a better standard, after which I'll have to make yet another trip to collect them. This was my very first Fluevog purchase but will definitely be the last. Reading other reviews that say product is made in China, this explains it. Shocking prices for Chinese quality. Be warned!!

Yelp
Not for the faint of heart, these shoes say " pay attention to me!" I stayed away from Fluevog's in the past as I thought they were too high heeled for my work needs. I could not have been more wrong. Many heel heights to choose from and even flats are tres chic. Superior workmanship and just unique design. Service at the flagship store is excellent. Also they warranty shoes for 8 months. Hope it's not like all other warranties and not actually useful. They also replace the heel caps for $20. Great since these are investment shoes. Mr Fluevog is retiring but apparently going to spend more time w designing his line (yay!). If you need to close a deal or just reward yourself, get thee to John Fluevog! And now in YEG, too!!! On Whyte, of course.

Yelp
Browsed without buying. Big storyboard hanging on the east wall gives a quick history of the owner and the biz. Story suggests that the shoes are still made in Canada. I looked at the labels in a dozen display shoes. The most expensive models are made in Portugal. The "cheaper" models which still are priced over $300 are made in China. Granted, I'm a cheapskate. I only wear shoes that are made in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil and Portugal. I do not buy Chinese shoes. And the most expensive shoes I've purchased in the past 3 years cost $150. Guys, you want wacky looking shoes that are comfortable, well made and cost 70% less than Fluevogs? Check out www.shoeembassy.com located in London England. Their shoes are made in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Slovenia. No Chinese crap.

Yelp
If one is into shoes, or clever designs, or masterful leather workmanship, then he or she definitely needs to check out this John Fluevog store! If you're not familiar with the brand, check out their website. This is not your typical shoe. The designs, the colors and the variety of footwear is incomparable. Many shoes and boots are quirky, with unique colors and/or heels and/or other details (like grommets, zippers, etc., worked into the designs in unusual ways). But rest assured, not all the models are show-stoppingly unique. Some are a bit more mainstream in appearance, like saddle shoes. So don't be afraid to come in here! The brand is known for its creative and quirkier shoe models, but there are more mainstream models to be found. But these too are made incredibly well and, in my experience, like Doc Martens footwear, they will last nearly forever. I've been to Fluevog stores in Montreal (both of them there), and in San Francisco and in Seattle. They've all been lovely stores. This Vancouver store may be my favorite, though. In the heart of Gastown, this store is in a glass-ceilinged courtyard that was made into a store, so the ceiling is super high, and the walls are the exposed bricks from wall exteriors of adjacent buildings. The whole store is deep and wide and feels very open and spacious inside. There's an island displaying mens' footwear and another for women. Also, there are some cool satchels and purses and messenger bags. And yes, the prices are high, but sometimes - usually - you get what you pay for, right? Anyhow, when I was visiting this store, they had a sale going on and the prices were pretty decent (i.e., on a par with well-made mainstream footwear brands). If you can snatch a pair of Fluevog shoes or boots on sale that you love, that's quite a major coup, as they're going to last for years!

Yelp
In general, I would say that the options at this store are quite great. It depends on the day though and sometimes you won't find the type of stuff you're looking for. But when you get lucky, the shoes are wonderful in almost every way. Beautiful, comfortable, and well-made. Though I think I should mention that they are pretty expensive, at least to me. The people who work there are fabulous and very helpful without being pushy to make a sale.

Yelp
I was so excited to buy a pair of Fluevogs. I had been looking at the Haworth's online for months and was ready to make the purchase. Unfortunately, the customer service at this store was awful. There were about five other costumers when I walked in, all being serviced. My friends and I were not greeted when we came in, not a big deal if you're super busy, but they weren't. I went about my business and found the shoes I wanted. I picked them up and tried to make eye contact with a sales associate to let them know I'd like to try them on. Each person I tried to make eye contact with ignored me or walked past me. I attempted to engage one of them in conversation and was interrupted by another customer and I was immediately overlooked. I couldn't help but realize that all the employees and all the other customers were White, but my friends are I are not. I left empty handed, and feeling disappointed.

Yelp
Lord help me, I have found a shoe love unlike anything I have ever known. Colors, shapes, creative, original, unique--OMG. Ever walked into a shop and felt like you had stumbled into a wonderland of sorts? That's these shoe stores. I will say, a few of the styles were a little TOO out there for me, but I love the color and style and cannot wait to take these out for a show! Just scrumptious.

Yelp
It is Fluevog, what can I really say. I will pre-empt this with saying I rarely get to a Fluevog store as I live on the Island. So I mainly buy online. I am grateful for the opportunity to try on shoes in person as most Fluevogers know: the different families fit differently. Staff was being run off their feet but still managed to grab me shoes whenever I needed. Other customers were a riot (gotta love quirky Fluevogers) and would actually comment on eachother's shoe choices saying 'those are so cute' and such and so forth. A real communal shopping experience - probably one of my best. I didn't have the budget to buy the shoes that I ended up liking best, but I will keep them on my wishlist to pick up when I can. Overall, delightful experience.

Yelp
WE NEED THE TOKYO REBOOTS AND ALL GOTHIC PIKES. So frustrating not being able to find decent size 13 and simple sleek designs in low ankle boots (angel buckles are awesome and on the derby's too) but 2011 and the 80s is a long time away and I don't like the lestats... too campy. I'd really appreciate a male loafer with pike toes or or a ballet shoe
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
Don't buy the hype. The shoes are not made in Canada and the quality is hit and miss. I had a pair of $250 boots from here that lasted 7 months of occasional wear before both heel cups broke and the store wouldn't repair them despite the boots still being in "warranty". They were well maintained and the uppers leather was in great shape, but it didn't matter. They preach great customer service but that only seems to hold true while you're buying another pair.

Yelp
Ahh! Where is Rich Kid? Yes, granted, it's been years since I set food inside 65 Water Street so it was a little silly of me to expect that it hadn't gone through some kind of reincarnation since that seems to be the trend now, but still.... Anyway, John Fluevog has found a lovely home to house his designs. Everything about this place is artful and beautiful. Clean, spacious, it has that nice gritty industrial feel without seeming to undone. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, Gastown's cobblestoned charm lends a nice backdrop to this wonderful space.

Yelp
What my girlfriend didn't know was that I was showing her around Gastown so that I could stop in and look for a pair of shoes. The store has a good layout and several unique designs to choose from, but not so much that you feel overwhelmed. The staff were very friendly and the guy that assisted me gave us some coffee shop and restaurant recommendations and stretched out the pair i bought. The shoes here are unique and like works of art in some regards. I have gotten many compliments, or rather my shoes have and no one else around has shoes quite like mine.

Yelp
Annnnnnnd I willlllll allllllways love shoooooooes! -Whitney Houston My Fluevog collection grew when pairs 6 + 7 came home with me last night after I spent an hour or so over the course of the past two days strutting up and down the polished concrete floor of their design studio + flagship store in Gastown. I think what sells me every time on the Fluevog shoe experience is these two things: 1. Other Fluevog souls are really beautiful people. Last night there were 3 of us deciding on purchases, and all of us took the time to help each other, weighing possibilities. In Vancouver, this is rare. 2. Amazing staff. Vanessa, the most lovely Fluevog associate, was thoughtful and sweet as I made my decisions. It felt like she really cared about the shoes and about my wedding. When I left, she gave me a hug. She's awesome. Anyone who is thinking about Fluevogs for their wedding should definitely request her. So why two pairs? Well, I certainly can't change out of my wedding dress, but a shoe change? Totally acceptable.

Yelp
I recently purchased the cutest ankle cowboy boots (on SALE from 350 to 99 bucks) at this location. I haven't worn 'vogs since my early twenties, finding their shoes a bit chunky for my taste, but the styles they have currently will make a convert outta any shoe junkie. Quality aside, this five star review completely belongs to Andrea, the sales associate with the mostest. She sold me on these shoes in such a casual, friendly and low pressure way that I just had to have them - but I felt like an honest friend was helping me out rather than a smarmy salesgal working for commission. She went out of her way to put these booties on hold for me and remembered my name the next day went I went in to pick them up. Her level of professionalism made me say "WOW" and instantly recommend some Fluevogs to the boyfriend. So even if you think Fluevogs aren't your style - head in and check them out anyway. The service, quality and interesting location make it worth your time and money!

Yelp
John Fluevog loves you, but you will never be this cool. The Gastown Fluevog shop is a gorgeous space filled with a wet dream full of shoes. I've never been any sort of shoe fetishist, but Fluevogs are my secret guilty pleasure - I have strange feet that are very difficult to fit, yet I can always find a pair of Fluevogs that fit me like a dream and feel like walking on brilliant leather clouds. Fluevogs are a luxury item to be sure, but they're the perfect Vancouver souvenir if you're visiting. If you're lucky enough to live in a city with your own Fluevog store, check it out and be surprised. The designs aren't for everyone, but those who love their 'vogs are converts for life. Also, John himself is a gracious and lovely man who can be frequently seen in the Gastown store designing more awesome.

Yelp
This store is just awesome. It is kind of a glass cube surrounded by brick buildings on both sides. Although it looks different than what you would expect in Gastown, it seems to fit in. The location is wonderful, the shoes are beautifully displayed and the shoes are mostly breathtaking. Owning a pair of Fluevog's is a sort of luxury I love to have. Although most of them tend to be designed more extreme, you can also find your regular fit in a fashionable way. I guess Madonna is the best reputation for Fluevog shoes since she owns a pair herself. Check out the store. Even if you're not interested in the shoes, this is delightful shopping. No crowds, ample space and a lot of natural light.

Yelp
I have been buying & following John for years... We are so lucky to have him and his shoe stores in our city... The floor staff are super friendly knowledgeable and will spend as much time as you need. Psst btw these shoes are an investment and you can always resell them very easily on the net because the are so popular and hold their value.. I know from experience. My recent purchase of Fluvogs are so well made and designed, I get asked all the time "are those Fluevog boots?". I can walk for hours and hours in these boots without any issues and be totally in style. I like them so much... that when I'm not wearing them, I rather leave them on the floor in display (out of the closet) so I can enjoy them ..

Yelp
I've always loved their Angel sole shoes. I've always loved the funky design and their quality and the fact that it symbolized Shoe's for Vancouver. We went to the sample sale, got there a bit later, after dinner and there was no lineup. That's because all the goodies in the right sizes were gone. It was still nice to have a looksie and drool about what I'll want to get next. I'll have to save a few extra pennies though for a Tokyo pair that I want, but would rarely every wear. :( Have to get the Frontier Danielson!!
google avatar

Erika W.

Yelp
I own way to many Fluevogs, some I even have two pairs of the same shoe (like the kick ass gray leather print Munsters). My credit card company gives you 5 stars too.
google avatar

Nadine N.

Yelp
Fluevogs make me drool. The Fluevog store in Gastown is the perfect place to do so. The store is spacious and the shoes are displayed in a way that encourages fondling the footwear. There are some sale items mixed in with the regular priced shoes, in case you need more incentive to inspect all the shoes.
google avatar

Kent M.

Yelp
Fluevog Gastown is a delight. From the space itself (which features a warehouse/workshop aesthetic) to the shoes (which are, as anyone who knows me is likely sick to death of hearing, utterly amazing) and the helpful staff, your fashion fix will be satiated here. When I visit Vancouver, this is the location I'll be sure to stop by. When I stopped by in July 2014, it felt way more spacious, well-stocked and less muggy than the Granville shop. Really, though, any Fluevog shop is a five-star footwear utopia, so this Flagship location's excellence shouldn't come as a surprise.

Linda M.

Yelp
I adore shoes, and in particular, I adore John Fluevog's shoes. These shoes are not just footwear; they are fascinating works of art, each with a personality and a backstory. The quirky names, the wonky-shaped heels... just so much fun! And the clientelle is wonderful! I look around and feel like I am hanging out with the Drama kids from high school! These are my peeps! I have read these reviews and was unsure why some people said that Fluevogs has nothing for people past the age of 20something. I am happily in my forties and rocking Fluevogs better than ever - because now I can afford them! In my 20s Fluevogs were just a wistful dream... Wearing Fluevogs is exciting. When you go out wearing a pair of Fluevogs, you *feel* special. You feel special because you look special! And people notice, boy, do they ever notice! *Every* time I wear Fluevogs, someone comes up to me and tells me they love my shoes. Friends, coworkers, and total strangers will chase me down to ask me about my shoes, or to tell me that they noticed I was wearing Fluevogs. People want you to know that they know Fluevogs too. It's a special West Coast society. Today I went to Gastown to exchange my most recent Fluevog purchase (wrong size) and there was no problem with that whatsoever. The sales staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I was delighted to see a young gal with hot pink hair buying the same pair of shoes I was buying, and also pleased to see that the sales staff had no problem with the woman who was shopping with her Italian Greyhound, who happened to be wearing a tutu with skulls on it. (To be clear, the dog was wearing the tutu, not the woman). Love this store. Love the vibe. Love the clientelle. Love the staff. And most of all, love the shoes. Fantastic!!

Yelp
On a trip on Thanksgiving/2017 to Seattle, I bought a pair of John Fluevog's shoes. They look nice and were pretty comfortable for day-to-day work. I wore the shoes three times and one them ripped, detaching the leather from the sole. I tried to contact customer services, but there doesn't seem to be a Central unit. You have to contact the store. Someone from the store told me to find a local shoe repair and they would reimburse me. I expected a much better customer service and QUALITY from a company that sells shoes priced close to $250. I am still trying to get my shoes replaced, but after my request for them to do so, I haven't got any other replies.

Yelp
Well located. Amazing.Crazy.Original. High Hills!! Very pricey. DUH. But this is the place for a pair of shoes of top quality. Awesome customer service. Excellent selection. Size 8 always available. All you need is yur credit card... ;)

Yelp
Best customer service EVER! Luiza gave the greatest customer service with shoes I have ever had buying Fluevogs. The shoes are unique and worth every penny. I save my money for a pair every year.

Yelp
No doubt, a distinct style of its own. Unlike other more expensive labels out there with nothing to show for it, JF does have flair. Not conservative by any stretch. Almost Versace-esque. Located in Gastown, in a great heritage building with smooth cement flooring and super high ceilings. While expensive @ regular prices, they do have a sample rack for sales. It's also their head office and design studio.
google avatar

Yelp
There are no other shoes. Fluevogs are beautifully designed and well-made. They look good and last forever. And do I not feel the hometown pride wearing them, knowing that Fluevog was started in and is still based in Vancouver? The new Gastown store is much more spacious than the Granville Street store. The shoes are displayed on great big tables that I can walk around and lovingly gaze at each little miracle of cobbling. The mezzanine level houses the creative and administrative staff of the company - the buzz of new shoes being created is palpable. (The actual manufacturing is done in Portugal and Mexico, but you know what I mean.) Fluevogs are expensive, so I can't indulge the habit all the time. I am glad that the staff are understanding when I explain that "I'm just visiting today." They also have good after-sales service - if you do wear out your Angel Soles, repairs can be arranged.
google avatar

Sheila W.

Yelp
I consider this Gastown landmark more of a museum or art gallery than a retail outlet. The shop is beautifully laid out, bright and airy. The shoes on display are like works of art -- and priced as such. The staff is not pushy and always friendly. They are used to tourists and looky-loos who just come in to whiff the leather and gawk at the originality of the footwear on offer. I would encourage anyone in the neighbourhood to drop in and experience this homegrown phenomenon, even if you can't afford the shoes or don't dig the style. Not everyone can leave a gallery with a piece of art, but you can appreciate the work!
google avatar

Yelp
Love their designs! You won't run into another person wearing the same shoes as you on skytrain or bus stops like Uggs or Toms! Their designs are so unique, and wear so comfortably! Only problem is that the sizes run slightly big, I wear a size 6 usually, and probably need to wear size 5.5 or 5 in their sizes. But their size only go down to 6! no luck for me but it doesn't diminish my passion to look at their shoes and try them on!

Yelp
Don't waste your time or money spending any of your hard earned money at this store. I bought a pair pf shoes just about 4 weeks ago and the price dropped by over $75 dollars and they didn't give a crap. You would think a reputable store like this would all be about customer satisfaction. But Not in this case. So I would think twice before dropping any money on full asking price. It shows the mark up and its obvious that if anyone spends full price in this store, you're getting gouged.

Yelp
Looking for men's shoes? They have a great selection, but most of them are wild, brightly coloured showstoppers. I prefer the understated dress shoes, which they have plenty of if you look past the glitter and pomp. The Twin Turbine line is where you'll find the most classic styles. Ask a staff member for assistance if you don't see exactly what you're looking for. Many of the shoes are available in other colours not on display. Most of the men's shoes are made in Portugal and the quality is impeccable.

Yelp
Being the flagship, it would make sense that this location has the best selection and likewise best shopping experience. Love the open layout of the store with workshop space upstairs, you can almost feel the Fluevog tradition seeping from this spots' pores. Staff always seem extremely friendly and are attentive to your needs. Last time I was in I purchased a new handbag, the staff were really knowledgeable about its care and protectiveness while not necessarily pushing their protective product and accessories on me. Great product and stellar shopping experience.

Yelp
The new John Fluevog store on Water Street is stunning! Nevemind the shoes...the store itself is massive in design and very Vancouver. The impeccably designed shoes are show-cased on giant, raw wood tables, all the better to do show off their fabulousness! The men's and women's shoes are unfailingly unique and unapologetic in their off-beat and rad design. If you are looking for statement footwear, Fluevog is the place to be! The young fellow I spoke to was kind enough to compliment my jacket and gab with me about what a bugger it can be to find clothes that fit those of us with small shoulders, oh the injustice! It is a true sign of great service when I can chat with the sales people as friends would. Mmmm shoes!

Yelp
Fluevogs not being my favourite shoes, it might be unfair of me to review this store, as all they carry is Fluevogs! But, I will say that the store is airy and has a great aesthetic, and the vibe is funky and fun. So, if you are a fan of the chunky kind of cool that Fluevogs offer up, you'll be happy to walk into this shoe emporium.

Yelp
Great quality, consistently good service, creative designs. One of vancouver gems. I own at least 15 pairs that I have bought over the years and they still look great. When I travel overseas I get loads of compliments on them! And most of their shoes have arch supports. Check out their sample sales.

Yelp
awesome store, awesome style. I've been going to the Granville Street store since I was in high school and I'm proud that it's a part of Vancouver but the Gastown store is so beautiful and urban that I stop in often just to look at both the shoes and the architecture.

Yelp
A quick review to point out the above and beyond customer service I recently received at John Fluevog Shoes. I wanted a pair of shoes that they did not have in stock, but luckily there was one pair left at their Granville Street location. "Perfect", I say, "I'll take 'em!". The sales guy assured me that he would call me the following day once they arrived, but alas, there was no word. Since I work close by, I stopped in the following day to learn that the shoes were, in fact, not available at their Granville location and that they were being shipped from Toronto and would arrive......next week! "No good", I say, "I need 'em for the weekend". The store manager went over the top, and contacted their Calgary store while I was there, and arranged to have a pair couriered to arrive the next day! Now THAT is what customer service is about. Thanks John Fluevog!

Yelp
I love shoes, what girl doesn't. If I knew how to properly walk in heels and high shoes, I would be buying stuff here all the time. Awesome staff and although these are designer shoes, the prices are very reasonable.

Yelp
The Gastown space is so VANCOUVER, Fluvog is so, well not really Vancouver more LA, but we love him anyway. Great space and shoes for the 20 somethings, what happened to the simple boots of yester year he always did to hold onto his clients? Gone Gone Gone, my niece bought 3 pairs of shoes, she knows style and quality when she sees it.

Yelp
First this is the greatest store you will ever step into. It is almost all glass. It was a old alley and where there was once a alley they added two story's of glass. While you are there you will be lost in the eye candy of John Fluevog shoes. Every single one will have you wonder which one or which three. I buy a pair once a year and they are worth the trip. If you want to be the show this is where you will find the shoes that will have men and women turning heads.

Yelp
If you want to receive compliments on your footwear and be uber comfortable at the same time, get a pair of Fluevogs. These are great quality shoes, have unique design with limited production quantities (just like great art!) and the shop has friendly staff. Expensive, but well worth it. Best look out for sales and get on it as soon as the sale starts, otherwise you're s-o-l if you're looking for any of the common sizes. Staff at the Gastown Location provide better customer service and are friendlier than at the Granville Location. For example, each time I've not had a shoe in my size, they have cheerfully offered to call around. Sometimes they don't find what I want, but will let me know about other colour options, or similar styles I might like as well. I appreciate that! The Gastown Fluevog is bigger, brighter and has plenty of space to try out footwear compared to the Granville location. That includes several benches, a couple of comfy couches and a great display of footwear for you to stroll through as you're testing out your next pair of Vogs. Three Words: Addictive. Unique. Comfortable.

Yelp
Time for some new summer kicks, and wow do they ever have cool styles this summer. I went for the purple Joni's, it's going to be a great summer!

Yelp
One star is generous here. Poor customer service. Won't return phone calls. Perhaps too arrogant to accept that their product may be faulty, real cheap construction, big price

Yelp
When I walk into a Fluevog store my heart sings and my toes twinkle. I love the quirky eccentricity of the Fluevog shoes, they speak of my personality (or so I like to think). I remember being at a party and one of my new friends had on a pair of blue and green Mary Janes. I goshed "where did you find those!!" I went to the store the following week and there my love affair with Fluevog began. The shoes may be pricey, but they are well made. They also do shoe repair and sole replacement at reasonable prices. The staff at both stores; Gastown and Granville, are friendly.
