Clean environment... Served us despite reaching pretty late at night... They said they close at 12:45 am... So that's pretty good for a late night dinner... Service is quick and pleasant... Food was good... Nothing wowed me though but overall good... Affordable... Was a good experience... You get a direct view of the beach... The restaurant is right there at the beach... So cool breeze...

I had an extraordinary experience at Johncy! The food was exquisite, with each dish rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The service was remarkably efficient, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout the meal. With ample seating available, finding a table was effortless. The prices were reasonable, offering excellent value for the superb quality of both the cuisine and service. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience by the beach!

This is one of many restaurants on the Benaulim beach that serves the usual mish mash of “Goan” food and other things. It’s on the expensive side for food and booze. You do get to sit and stare at the ocean and if you want you can have your meal in the air conditioned place. Service is quick. It’s a large place with ample parking. Try to get a seat near the sea side. In the evening they put tables on the beach like others around.

We went to Johncy’s for dinner. The place was full, but we managed to find a table outside. Ordered for a tower of draught beer while looking through the food menu. Had some fries to go with the beer. Exhaustive menu with options for all. We ordered for pork sausages chilly fry and beef chilly. The pork was nicely cooked and delicious, but the beef seemed chewy, not particularly to our liking. Ordered for red snapper and that too was disappointing. It seems somewhat overrated. But definitely not bad if one wants to just stop by for a few beers and light munch.

This place has become our go-to restaurant for family outings, and for good reason! Nestled right on the beach, it offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a great meal with a stunning view. The food here is absolutely delicious. We especially loved their Hawaiian Chicken Salad—a must-try! The Chicken Tandoori was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly juicy. Their Spicy Chicken Wings had just the right amount of heat, making for a great appetizer. One of the highlights was the Cheese Garlic Naan—soft, cheesy, and full of garlicky goodness. We simply couldn’t get enough of it! We also tried their Squid Batter Fry, which was crispy and tasty, and their Beef Sizzler, which stole the show! It was sizzling hot, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The only letdown was the Mutton Kadai—while the flavors were decent, the meat was a bit tough and hard to chew. However, their refreshing drinks made up for it, perfectly complementing the meal. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic spot for a relaxing meal by the beach with amazing food and a great vibe.

The beef steak was a little chewy and the accompinments were good. The pomfret fish fry was good, not fresh day catch. The nan , butter chicken and mutton Rogan gosh were excellent. The dessert were perfect.

Visited this place for the first time in South Goa but was a shame on the service provided by the so called Captains of the waiters who are not even aware of which table is going to be cleared (estimate). Ariston being one of the captains, when arrived with my family of 10 members refused to give a table of 10 beach front as he was not ready to request a single customer who just sat and occupied a table of 4, which didnt allow me and my friend to also have Hookah and the tables inside is a no smoking area. Food is also an average.

The food is good, the view of the ocean is fantastic but all good things end there and these good things are available with all sea facing joints on the stretch. This is the first joint where the easiest to serve - the drinks came well after the first food order came in. The parking facility is pathetic and not monitored, there staff are rarely visible and the washrooms - less said the better and the costs - well Goa grossly over charges everything right from renting transportation, food, stays to repairing your transport if required - availability of emergency services is non existent at best. No wonder other beach destinations like Sri Lanka, Thailand seem like a better option.
