Fantastic experience! The immersive projections, storytelling and live performances made the tour unforgettable. The personalised cocktails were delicious, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great for whisky lovers and newcomers alike. The tour is super interactive, beautifully designed, and the guides know their stuff without being boring (a rare talent). Even if you think you “don’t like whisky,” this place will politely prove you wrong one sip at a time. Bonus points for the rooftop bar: amazing views of Edinburgh and excellent drinks that make you feel sophisticated, even if you’re just there for the photos. Highly recommended. Just remember: walk responsibly after walking with Johnnie. 🥃😉 متوفر مشروبات حلال

Even though I’m not a whisky drinker, I absolutely loved this experience. The whole tour is very engaging, well thought out and fun from start to finish. A big highlight was Xiao, who was an amazing explainer, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made everything easy to understand and enjoyable. This experience is definitely worth it, even if whisky isn’t usually your thing!

Fantastic place! We had a great tasting session in the whisky makers cellar and I was able to draw the Clynlish from the cask! From the shop I was able to fill my own bottle of their exclusive spring/summer blend! In the evening we tried out the rooftop 1820 bar. The old fashioned went down nicely. We tried them with Gold Label & Black Label. Highly recommend! Cheers 🥃 Mike @the_man_cave_est2021

What can I even say about this place — it’s absolutely fantastic. The whole experience feels premium from the moment you walk in. I ended up buying some great merchandise, including whiskey glasses and a flask, and even picked up the Blue Label whiskey hand cream and soap. The highlight for me was the personalised bottle experience. The staff helped me choose the right whiskey, guided me through the notes and flavours, and then let me pour and fill my own bottle. I even customised it with engraving, which made it feel extra special. The team here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They really take care of you and make sure you find the whiskey that fits your taste. On top of that, the atmosphere is beautiful — a perfect blend of modern design and classic whisky heritage. Whether you're a whiskey lover or just curious, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

Thank you Xiao!!! Who was our wonderful tour guide and to Rachel who was brilliant at story telling - I was amazed at the impeccable timings of everything these ladies did… without giving too much away😉 and the knowledge they both had about everything Johnnie Walker. We had such a wonderful time on the “a journey of flavour” tour. We had a lovely friendly welcome from everyone we met and the tour itself was so much more than we expected. Again, I don’t want to give too much away but the tour was really engaging, interesting and of course the whiskey was great. Also a brilliant collection of items available in the shop. With the tasting - DO YOUR FLAVOUR PROFILE! these were a perfect match for everyone on our tour (about 15 of us) and made the tour more interesting. You get a great range of choices, including highballs, cocktails and drams so suitable for anyone - even if you aren’t a huge whiskey fan! Would definitely recommend without a doubt and a big shout out to Xiao - thank you for making our experience extra amazing😁🥃

The Johnnie Walker tour was absolutely outstanding. Informative, entertaining and genuinely engaging from start to finish. The guides were knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun, interactive and easy to follow, even if you’re not a whisky expert. Great value for money with impressive storytelling, creative tasting rooms and plenty to learn along the way. The cocktails and personalised elements were a real highlight. A must-do in Edinburgh. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Johnnie Walker Tour! Our guides, Eilidh and Michael, made the visit unforgettable. Eilidh was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable — she shared so many fascinating facts about whisky, how it’s made, and what makes Johnnie Walker so special. Then came Michael — his storytelling skills were out of this world! The way he brought Johnnie Walker’s story to life through theatrics, moving objects, and interactive screens was just spectacular. It honestly felt like watching a live performance while learning about whisky history. The whole building was stunning — modern, spotless, and beautifully designed. We even got to try three different drinks tailored to our personal taste preferences (and a few extra surprises along the way!). For only £30 per person, it was an incredible experience and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh — even if you’re not a whisky expert, you’ll love every moment! 🥃
