We ordered Johny B’s for lunch and it totally hit the spot. We had the gyro plate and the Greek chicken salad—both were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The gyro meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the salad was crisp with juicy grilled chicken and a tasty, balanced dressing. Even as takeout, everything was packed thoughtfully and held up really well. It’s clear they care about quality and flavor. A fantastic lunch option we’ll definitely be ordering from again!

I stopped by Johnny B’s for lunch and was seriously impressed. I ordered the chicken pita with tzatziki sauce, and it was perfection — flavorful, juicy, and wrapped in warm, toasty bread that hit just right. I dipped a few bites in the honey mustard on the side, and even that was next level. You can tell there’s real care behind the food here — nothing about it felt rushed or generic. The whole experience was delicious, fast, and full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. A true gem in the area!

Been going here since they opened. Tried everything on the menu but breakfast. But everything else was GREAT. A lot of food for the money. AND VERY GOOD!!! New hours are even better. Service has ALWAYS BEEN GREAT. Place is clean , staff is very friendly. I tell everyone one , if your in the neighborhood stop by and get lunch. Get the beefs or gyro or burgers. You won't be disappointed. GREAT PLACE TO EAT !!!!@

I recently visited this place, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and far exceeded my expectations for a quick meal. The menu offers such a great variety that everyone in our group from work was able to find something they loved! It’s now our go-to spot for team lunches, and we’ll definitely be ordering again soon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fast food done right with a personal touch!

First time trying this place yesterday. It was excellent! I ordered a gyros dinner to go, and an order or fried mushrooms. The dinner came with a Greek salad, which was delicious. The gyro dinner had an abundance of meat and quite a bit of fries, with tomatoes and red onion. It was outstanding! The sauce for the gyro is made in-house and is very good! I did order and extra pita (the dinner comes with 1) and I'm glad I did, because there was just way too much meat for 1 pita! Overall, it was great! The staff, I think it was the owner, was very friendly and nice. I'll definitely be back!

I've tried 5 items from this location. Skirt Steak, Aldi cheesesteak, Gyro dinner, burger, and Philly chicken style sandwiches. The only on that I did not like was the chicken 5. Everything else was a hit. I come here at least twice a month now since it's in the area. They also have Pepsi zero, and the staff is great. Bathrooms are available kid friendly, and they have some slots machines. Parking available and drive thru.

The food here is actually amazing I really regret not ordering more food would definitely come back.

Johnny B's is a great option if you are looking for a meal in the Addison, Illinois area and craving something simple in a no-frills type atmosphere. I went with a burger and was overall pretty impressed. The staff were friendly and the burger was pretty good. I would definitely recommend here.

Strange to say, but this place has fallen into my wife's and I breakfast rotation for weekends. A varied menu running from eggs/omelets to cheeseburgers which you can get all hours of the day. Standard diner fare for good prices, definitely recommend to give it a try. Just be sure to check the hours before coming!

I stopped there for the first time tues evening about 4pm and just ordered a chicken sandwich! I did not expect first of all such an enormous size sandwich which is not common, the freshness of the bun along with the tomatoe and lettuce etc etc to the perfection of the way the chicken was cooked is unbelievable. What you get here in quality for the money puts portillo's to shame! Even the pleasant girl at the window with her smile left an impression. I definitely will be frequenting this place more often and trying more things on their menu! This quality food and quality service for sure!

Seriously took me too long to try this place. Had the burger which was good so went again and had a the gyro plate which was so delicious but it wasn't until I tried the chicken Philly. Holy smokes I can't say it's a genuine Philly but that couldn't matter any less the thing is perfection on bread. The chicken is perfect and the cheese and siracha aoli just make for one of the best sandwiches I ever had.

This place is awesome! Super tasty food and management is easy to work with and is responsive. We catered a golf event on the earlier side and everything was made on time, deliciously and at a super reasonable price. Great for a quick bite or an affordable family outing!!

I've had a phenomenal experience over the past three months since moving to Addison. The food is consistently great and always served hot. The restaurant exudes oldies aesthetic vibes throughout. The staff are some of the nicest and most attentive people I've encountered. You should definitely try the Italian beef here.

I went in there late afternoon, not expecting great food because the place was empty at the time, and only 1 car in the parking lot. Ordered a burger, which was on the expensive side. Again, figured it wouldn't be too good but I really didn't want to try to hunt down a bk or something. However, it was delicious. The burger was cooked great and absolutely worth the price I paid. I'll be going there more often and trying their other food. Also gotta say, the place was really clean, and the staff were really nice. I'm really surprised they weren't a lot busier but I guess they are more of a lunch place. I gotta ding the place though because the sandwich was supposed to be 2 patties, but the bottom patty was only a half patty. Delicious though but seems weird why they would only give me a half patty.

Johnny B's is a great and relatively new lunch place in Addison, IL. More than just a hot dog place, Johnny's has an extended menu that includes full meals and everything is cooked fresh and hot to go, or you can dine in and enjoy the slot machines if that's your thing. If you're in the area and need a bite to eat, it's worth the visit.

Was in the area and just wanted a quick bite. Best Greek roasted potatoes I have had. Huge Greek salad as well too. Very fresh ingredients and salad dressing was homemade. Nice job. I loved it. Very reasonable and the service was great. Granted it was just before lunchtime! Nonetheless, customer service and food fresh and delicious!!!! If you're in the area, check it out. Definitely Worth It!!!!

Love the kabob dinners! Generous portion of 2 Chicken or 3 Pork skewers with rice pilaf, half a Greek potato & garlic bread for only $10? That's a no brainer! I haven't tried anything else on the menu but will most certainly have to.

Their food in general may be good based on the reviews but I ordered a gyros that was simply not good tasting and my wife had a burger which for the price had very little meat and was just ok. Overall I'm less then impressed and won't returning

Service during afternoon are very rude but at night there more friendly. Food was decent just don't understand why I was treated like shit when I came in today for lunch. Thanks ruining my birthday and being in hurry.

I have been going there way before it was Johnny B's . When it was Billy's. I love love love their broasted chicken. I ate there once a week for 30yrs. I was happy to find out that when it was changed over to new owners and after the remodel that the menu stayed the same and even before the pandemic was over Nd the sit down restaurant wasn't opened yet I would order my food thur the drive-thru because I believe in small businesses BUT WHEN I ABLE TO GO INSIDE THE PRICE WERE MORE BUT THAT WAS EVERYWHERE BUT THE PORTIONS WERE SMALLER. THEY LOST A CUSTOMER OF 30 YEARS AND I'M SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE !!!!!!!

We like to support local restaurants, especially during this incredibly difficult pandemic. Our first time at a restaurant is termed our 'experiment'. We want to see whether the new to us restaurant lives up to our favorite go-to restaurants. Johnny B's passed with flying colors. We ordered the two dogs, two fries combo, a cheeseburger, a patty melt, cream of chicken soup and small order of cheese curds. The order was ready when promised, only 10 minutes or so. Simply put... The food was good, the service was good and we will be back.

I am a big fan of food and love it with all my heart. I can confidently and proudly say that the food here is absolutely delicious! The taste of burgers, sandwiches and dinner plates is awesome. I personally recommend the Chicken Philly the meal, It is absolutely tasty! The service is pretty awesome as well, the staff always attends me quick and i've never had any inconveniences in my plenty of times i've been here. At last, the ambiance is very calm and peaceful to eat inside. It is very relaxing and enjoyable to eat inside which allows you to eat your food at pure peace! I cannot wait to come back here and get me a delicious Chicken Philly and a chicken kabob dinner!

Tried several times, just can't try no more. Hot dog was thrown together, food looked like it was stepped on, didn't taste good at all. Last time I was here, got a grilled chicken sandwich & it was not the best. Also, the Drive threw takes forever.

The last time I was here when it was Billy Boys, they have done an excellent job remodeling the dinning area and the bathrooms. I started with a bowl of cream of broccoli soup which was very good. We both ordered the gyro dinner which came with fries and a greek salad. It was fantastic! I will definitely be back again. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Don't know what's happening to this place but it's getting worse and worse! I order a gyro dinner and they didn't give us any sauce....the Greek salad didn't have any Feta! Order a polish and they put on BURNT onions and a HOT sauce! Wtf!

Love going here for a quick snack and it's very well balanced for fast food. Would recommend this 100 percent!

My husband & I recently tried Johnny B's after being recommended a few times. We ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger, Pizza Puff, Cheese Fries and Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. OMG -- so delicious! I love their crinkle cut fries. They were crispy and had the right amount of salt. The burger was put together so well -- perfect meat to cheese ratio. My husband said his Philly Cheesesteak was the best he's had (in IL). We really liked the Pizza Puff too -- practically melts in your mouth! We love Johnny B's so much, we went back a few days later. My husband got the regular Cheeseburger and I tried their Cheesy Beef. Of course, the cheeseburger did not disappoint. However, I was not impressed with their beef. The beef seemed a little dry and had a weird aftertaste. I guess I've been spoiled with Portillo's beef for so many years.

Fantastic food and service. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Food is across the board good- gyros/burgers/Italian beef. Their fries are the absolute best around. Place has improved tremendously since the remodel and new ownership.

Most important is food is very similar to previous owners "Billy's" , If you liked Billy's you like this. Similar menu with a few new items. Also the food quality seems better. The broasted chicken is very much like the old owners. The only thing I can say slightly negative is that their prices are slightly higher. This is probably due to better quality items . I had gyros here and they were much better than before. This is probably due to Kronos brand vs brand that was used before. Enjoy

Everything here was incredible! We ordered chicken kebabs, a pizza puff, a chicken sandwich, the blackened chicken sandwich, and a meatball sub. We'll absolutely be back.

Just ate a cheeseburger and fries on the side, safe to say the food was delicious and my burger came out spectacular would definitely recommend those to come eat here for lunch or for dinner.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Very inviting and clean restaurant. Staff were super friendly and seemed to happy working there. Ordered 2 chicken gyros, patty melt, cheese fries, Italian Broccoli soup, and an order of rice. Cheese fries and patty melt were really good. The soup and rice were downright AMAZING! And then there is the chicken gyros... ugh. They do such a good job making some of the best homemade honey mustard you will ever have, but it's atop probably the worst food service product I've ever eaten. I threw it away. Wouldn't even give it to my dog. I just wound up eating the pita and veggies with the honey mustard. Please either buy the real cone of chicken gyros or just take this off your menu. You guys did too good of a job with the rest of your menu to serve something so horrid. Really wanted to give 5 stars, but deducted one for the chicken gyros.

Skirt steak sandwhich with mozzarella along with small fries was $16.75! Never had a skirt sandwhich this small. Had only 8 small bite size pieces of steak on a huge garlic bun. The worst I've ever had. In addition, beef sandwhiches have far less meat on them as compared to previous owner. Salads to go are put in much smaller containers then before. New owners are really cutting back on quantity with increase of prices. Been a long time customer of when it was Billys and then Johnnys. Change the name of your business because you have not kept up what Johnny produced. Very disappointed! I called twice and left a message with no return call. Wanted to handle verbally with owner versus writing this review! Will try again once more!

My husband and I just moved into DuPage county, let us just says it's difficult to find good food joint, and not to mention variety of foods joints, compared to the city. We had a taste for gyros when we found Johnny B's. So we tried them out. We ordered our gyros with a side of Greek Potatoes, and SWEET GOD! They were delicious! On our 2nd visit, we ordered the items you see under our review, which were Italian beef and double bacon cheese burger. And again, no disappointment whatsoever, they were amazing. Not only have the food items from their menu have been delicious for us, their staff is super friendly and professional, and let me also make you aware that the place is super clean, including the washrooms (HUGE PLUS of course). The place seems to be following COVID19 regulations. We have been able to dine in our past two visits, but of course the offer DRIVE THRU for those interested. We look forward in to trying more food items from their menu. But for now we wanted to express our experience with Johnny B's. Ps, we are not sure if this place just opened up or if it's been here for sometime, either way try them out and quit being goofy! Thanks.

The staff is super nice, the place is clean (except around the slot machines) The gyros is ok, it's Krono's so typical around here.. The issue is the fries.. Yeah not good, undercooked and cold and I'm not sure what that red glop they serve in little cups is but they told me it was ketchup, but wow was it disgusting. I asked for salt for the fries, they could not find... Also, bring your own silverware because it will not be provided when served... I'd go again, just stay away from anything that would need ketchup. No fries or burgers....

Charbroiled cheeseburgers, chicken burritos, broasted chicken, the BEST FRIES in DUPAGE COUNTY, meatball sandwiches on French bread, with sweets. We stopped by impulse and have been back 3 times. Even the prices are reasonable for all the food. Hope they deliver to Villa Park!

Got dinner for the family and it was great! Everything is reasonable. I had the Gyro dinner and it was delicious - I loved the Greek dressing for the salad! My children got a cheeseburger and crispy chicken and they were also great! Loved the buns they use on the sandwiches. Will definitely be coming here again.

This place is awesome!!! Burgers and chicken breast sandwich are a must everyone needs to have them! Johnny B's don't change a thing.

Stopped at this place for the first time earlier this evening and had a gyro and an order of Greek potatoes. Both items were very good particularly the gyro I ate. The gyros meat generosity was incredibly impressive. I am very impressed so far. The Greek potatoes were pretty good too however one recommendation for improvement I would make would be to let the potatoes bake in the oven longer...tad bit firm for me. Wouldn't hurt to drizzle them a bit more too. Tasty otherwise. The most impressive aspect of this place besides the delicious food is simply the fact tbat last Monday I ordered the exact same thing I ordered tonight at Johnny Bs and paid over double the price at their competitors down the street at gyros express. You get less gyro meat and pay quite a bit more. Johnny bs has me as a new customer and I will certainly be back in the future.

The chicken kabobs are awesome great prices for the amount of food you get very friendly staff

My husband and I finally tried Johnny B's after all the positive reviews in the Addison FB page. We're always looking for a new place to try that offer a nice variety of options, which Johnny B's does. I tried the regular gyro and he tried the cheeseburger. The portions were definitely generous and we both got fries and they were very crispy and delicious (fries are SUPER important to me). I thought my gyro was really good, although maybe a bit overfilled that I had to take some toppings off (but not a big deal, rather have more than not enough). My husband was not as happy with his choice. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato and pickle (maybe onions & mayo too; can't remember) and he got the pickle removed, but the toppings were a bit much for him. He felt that the burger was a tad too soggy for his liking. We'll be back again and my husband will try something else on the menu to find his go-to option. Overall, would recommend you try it out and finding what does or doesn't work for your taste.

We were waiting for this place to open after the old restaurant (that we were not ever impressed with) closed. We noticed it was open and popped in. It just so happened it was opening day. We were not disappointed at all. The food was good, the decor looks great and everyone was so friendly! I'm glad we have a place like this by our house now

Very disappointed been here twice. The first time food was OK enough to try again. The second time we ordered Mostaccioli they handed to my husband sideways by the time he got it to the card the bag split and as he sat and went and put the bag in the car it spilled all over his lap and car. The lid was not secured when it was put in the bag either. I called to advise them they should invest in plastic bags they said they had them (then why didn't they use them?) and they were going to call back with some sort of compensation. Never got a call back. My husbands jeans were ruined and the tan interior of his car had to be cleaned. Who hands someone a bag of spaghetti sauce sideways and in a cheap not sealed container. We have a business right down the block from them. We will not be back nor will any of our employees. Very disappointed with the new Neighbors.

this place use to be good, now its low grade dog food. actually i dont think my dog would even eat this food. wont be going back here ever again !!!

The food is amazing. But the service lacks in every aspect. Girls at the window have no sense of communication with customers and avoid eye contact. On the phone they say order will be ready In 10-15 minutes and then it is not ready for 45 minutes. This has happen the past few times I've been here and it's sucks since I love the food so much. Hopefully some better training can be done so it can be an enjoyable experience.

Very fast and friendly service! I rarely ever give 5 stars but they have the best burgers you can get for the price. They even have a drive thru so you can enjoy the food at home or in a hurry. The cheese curds are great, although a liiitttle pricey they give you a decent amount with some great sauce which seems to be a tangy mustard/Mayo combination. They also have slots which is always a plus. The only thing really missing is a bar and more open sitting area.

Great consistent & good food. They kept most of the recipes from previous owners (Billy's). Same gyro sauce, broasted chicken and added some extra soups& menu items. Can't wait until the outside dining area opens up again!

Been going here couple times a week!! I'm addicted! LOVE it! Portions are huge and food is delicious. Even the pita bread is addicting. So glad you guys are here! Had the gyros multiple times, and it's enough for 2-3 portions. Fries are so good and Greek salad with chicken added too.
