Johnny D's Waffles and Benedicts, North Myrtle Beach

This restaurant has an absolutely amazing breakfast! The selection to choose from is almost overwhelming because it all looks so delicious. Our waitress was very patient with us while we took forever deciding, and she happily answered all of our questions. Our food was served quickly and tasted wonderful. The prices are very reasonable and the plates are very filling. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Myrtle Beach area.

We have enjoyed Johnny D's in Myrtle Beach for 7 years and always go at least twice during our summer vacation. Today was the first time we tried the North Myrtle Beach Johnny D's. It did not disappoint! Megan, our server, was awesome! She was friendly and helpful and took great care of our party of four. We all agreed that our food was excellent and delicious. This location is a keeper! Thanks!

Very good, but kind of disappointed that the waffle was $13 and only came with one waffle....no sides. Good but pricey for that. Service was okay, the staff was not rude, but the host and server, didn't smile once.... Menu had great variety

Best Breakfast/Brunch in SC. Every visit to the beach this is our first stop. We just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. The food never disappoints. Customer service is always exceptional. "Johnny D's Time" all the time.

Was told a 25 minute wait for our party of 5. We then had a 53 minute wait. We then waited 40 minutes for our food to come out. When it did it came out in waves and our last dish came out 10 minutes after the first. We arrived at 11 and didn’t leave until 1. Would not recommend. Very disappointing as locals. The manager came over to our table as we were waiting for half of our food and she did not care or check in on us.

The wait for 2 wasn't that long & we enjoyed sitting at the breakfast counter. My husband had country fried steak & I had lox & onions Benedict. All of the food was amazing! Bloody Mary was like an appetizer on it's own with a little skewer full of food. Great service & atmosphere 😊.

Best breakfast/brunch place in this area. Very unique food. I definitely recommend the banana bread french toast. The eggs benedict was good too. Wish I could go back and try the coconut blueberry pancakes… my only complaint is the shaken espresso was a bit watered down. They only offer 2% milk or almond milk. They should offer more options, like whole milk or oat milk.

If you’re driving thru, here on vacation, or live here all year long, you have to stop here! My wife and I chose Johnny D,s for my Father’s Day breakfast. They offered seating at the Breakfast Bar, with no wait, and we accepted. Packed house for sure. We had wonderful Miss Jess as our server, and what a sweetheart she was. So kind, and interactive, with both my wife and I. Then I ordered, something completely different, and never had it in this combination in all my life. A Jambalaya omelette, that has Seasoned Chicken, Hot Italian Sausage, Tomatoes, Pepper Jack Cheese, Onions & Peppers, drizzled w/ Cajun Remoulade Sauce. Ordered home fries, sausage gravy, and a side of wheat toast. But back to the omelette. Thee best omelette by far, in the United States of America. Crazy good, stupid good, ridiculously good, shut the front door good. Shout out to the chefs!!! Miss Jess, thank you for making our breakfast so much fun! Miss Britt, the manager, so attentive, making sure everything was good, and so kind to my wife and I. Listen folks, stop in, you won’t regret it! If you have Miss Jess, or meet Miss Britt, tell them The Truth sent you! Now, in regard to my photos, I took an absolutely beautiful omelette and smothered it in sausage gravy and some hot sauce. Don’t judge me, lol, it was tasty!!!
