I love this place. I've been coming here for over 10 years + . Food is great, great prices, and the service is the best i l9ve. My waitress shes amazing. Definitely recommend. I drive from Queens to the bronx to eat here. i even pay a toll to go eat here. that's how much i love to eat here

Very courteous, friendly staff. Fixed any issue immediately & with a smile. The delivery team was swift ,I felt like I was just in the kitchen because food was piping hot..

Second time ordering from here. This time we had a Grilled chicken ceasar wrap, nugget deluxe, onion rings, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and taste fresh. Presentation was nice, sorry I took pics after I served myself lol, but I will ordering from here more often.

Last 2 times I went there The food was cold . I forgave them the first time because the staff is always nice and reheating the food was no biggie but the second time I was offended . Especially since it was a London broil steak meal with overcooked steak , cold potatoes and cold veggies. I think the problem is the chef . I hope he’s not the owner . The staff is nice . It’s not their fault . But I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon . I rather travel 3 train stops to George’s diner on Zerega ave and westChester ave (6 train)

Clean tables, counters, and restrooms. Attentive and polite staff. And good food! According to the menu the prices are for cash transactions. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my companion ordered a grilled chicken wrap. With beverages, tax, and tip the cost was $35. There’s no street parking but we found a spot around the corner. I would definitely go there again. With cash.

I love this place, everything is delicious. Yum the breakfast ❤️ large portions at a reasonable price. Been going to johns since 2010 they never dissapoint.

This will be my first time trying a diner in the Bronx, and I couldn't notice any difference compared to downtown, or upstate diner.. Good food. We were attended to in time. Food arrived quickly too. I had to force myself to slow down while eating ( I don't know why i was rushing my food😀). Friendly workers. Try for yourself and see. Great place.

John's pizza is my go-to for large pizza orders. John and team ensure that delivery is always on time and all pizzas are hot & fresh. I would recommend them to anyone looking to order large pies, salads and appetizers for a large group of people.

horrible dinner worst dinner too they burn my food many times from the times I order they rush when making the food. Hair in my cheesecake one time I order a bagel and the cream cheese had mold in it don't order here and save your money I also saw them threaten to call the police on this new taco business truck just because they want to be the only one selling food and that shows how greedy they are for customers and money the delivery guy bangs on your door doesn't give correct change I gave them a 50 and didn't give me my change I had to call and talk to the manager please don't come here it's horrible.

Food was terrible, fries where very stale and the burger was bad sautéed onions horrendous

The employees there are terrible. They literally put salt in my coffees. Who would do that? Every time I go there those two individuals have an issue with my daughter and I for no reason. Mr. John is a very nice person but his coworkers are not

The atmosphere was so so. They were playing 80's music, but the utensils, were all plastic, paper plates, and paper cups. Did not get the "out to eat feel". The booths barely had space between yourself and the table either. The food was average. Then to top it all off, there was hair on my plate! I'll never eat here again!

Service is great. Ambiance is great. There food is not consistent in taste. I been coming here since a kid . Love John he is a great hardworking individual lovely personality ! but this is a honest review .

Everything we've had, has been delicious. Had breakfast there one weekend and left stuffed. Ordered for delivery and everything was great. Nice local spot.

John's Diner you are absolutely incredible, I had a wonderful experience here today. Every single thing is delicious, fresh, the crew is very nice the place kept very clean. Every single thing is just yummy is all I can say. Staff are really courteous. They're accommodating, polite and always on their game. Try this place out you won't regret it!

Wow! Wrong choice. I Only have 3 grandchildren with me today. They wanted turkey burgers. So I ordered 3 deluxe turkey burgers with cheese, grilled onions. 10.50 each plus delivery and tax and some other fee I didn't understand but whatever. The food arrived cold, the fries were soggy and the onions we're burnt not grilled. Wow! IBummer! ‍

This restaurant is awesome. I love the food, the owners and the waiters are really friendly. I always get my egg whites on ww tst & a hot espresso cappuccino when I am getting ready to go to work in the mornings. Thanks guys.

Went to eat here yesterday it was okay. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and my bf got a chicken gyro. The fries were bomb but my philly was bland. They barely put any cheese on it and the bread was burnt. We both had the pink lemonade which I highly recommend. The waitstaff was good. Our waiter checked up on us a few times and offered refills. One downside to this place is that the bathrooms smelled really bad and didn't look very clean which was surprising because the inside of the restaurant looked very nice.

Really nothing but an "a-okay" from me. Very typical setup, service and food. "Awesome diner food" as one reviewer said, dude you must be related to the owners because there is nothing special here. It's cool when you're drunk or starving but it's not a place to go all out of your way for. Oh well..

Love the food ! Love the style ! Even though the server looks miserable I still manage to enjoy my food . The guy at the cashier is super nice. The place is also nice with mirrors everywhere you should order Togo but it's really not a dining experience to go. If you order to go you'll eat your food comfortably at home. Second time I came here better service great people

SCAMMERS Used to order here all the time but the takeout was getting ridiculous. They always forget something and the best part is I would order the same thing every time and yet the price would always change. So either they're really stupid or someone is changing the price and pocketing the difference. The deli next door is better.

Eh. John's Diner has always been a hit or miss for me. I usually get for breakfast fried eggs, home fries, and Pork sausage. The eggs and sausage are not too special. The home fries, however, are always dry and lack seasoning. Also, the portions vary incredibly. Today, I barely got any home fries. The corned beef hash is surprisingly tasty. For lunch/dinner, they're a little better. I get a Bacon cheeseburger with swiss cheese fries. I recommend getting the burger medium rare; it's so much juicer than a well done burger. Also, get the fries soft. They're delicious! The Wait staff is okay. I prefer the gentlemen over the woman except for John's family. They are very nice and personable. John's Diner is great if you're in the area with no other alternative or if you're lazy like me.

Went here Sunday morning. We were a group of 4, and waited for at least ten minutes, when another party arrived. This party was seated before we were, since it was apparent that they were probably regulars. When my husband told the owner that we had been waiting for a long time even before this party, and even the waitress said this was true, the owner rudely said "i dont reserve seats for anyone." What a hypocrite! Do not eat here! Do not give your patronage to an establishment that discriminates! We left and took our business to Crosstown Diner... where they treat their customers with RESPECT.

2 stars because the place has potential and was once my GO TO. If not, 1 star very easily. I used to love this Diner. It was my go to. However recently, the last few times I went, the service is sloppy. The food isn't great quality. My mom ordered a baked potato, but it was as hard as a rock and green inside. Her friend ordered veil and it was also as hard as a rock. The food isn't fresh. The service from staff could be better. They seem like they hate their job. It's no longer WORTH spending my money here. Which is sad, the place has so much potential. They need better management.

Best diner in the area. Great food and inexpensive always leaves me happy. Some of my favorites are the pastrami rueben, steak and eggs and chocolate chip pancakes. Great service great food and great prices, I always leave John's with a smile

The food, is okay. Sometimes the french toast is not fully cooked and comes out soggy, the bacon is almost always burnt. The syrup packets are cheap and watered down. The dinner special cost is good but doesn't really have much flavor. The pizza shop next door is good. The service is pretty good depending on who is the waiter/waitress. I've changed sections twice before avoiding the guy with the mustache that seems to forget his job duties. The best breakfast meal here is the steak, poached eggs with home fries and orange juices :) Their coffee isn't that great either. I get the coffee from across the street @ Pollo sabroso awesome coffee.

Old school look diner, clean, great customer service. We ate in, we didn't have to wait long at all. Not to mention the food was filling and inexpensive.

So I frequent here often because the home fries are good and you get three eggs instead of two with an order. The other day like sometime last week I ordered my regular pork sausage sunny side up eggs and home fries. I'm just tired of the sloppiness. The eggs are always popped once I receive them. I live only a few blocks down. What are the delivery drivers doing? Are they BMX bikers? Secondly that order I received had not one but two hairs in it. And I know for a fact they weren't mine. They were at the bottom of the home fries. The cereal I tried to buy once and the waitress warned me that it was very old. So your keeping cereal as a fridge ornament? Seriously johns diner your quality will never be up to par with some of the better diners in the Bronx. Never ordering from you again. Filthy.

Ordered and picked home. Good breakfast but if they could get an order correct the world would be a better place. My order is always wrong. Inside dining is good. John is a sweetheart and the only reason I give the place business.

Will never set foot In this place again. Never had any issues With the food. But I came here on a Sunday with my Fiancee. Ordered a toasted Cinnamon raisin Bagel and a coffee. my order never came But By some miracle The People who came in after us got their Big breakfast platters with hardly no wait. when I questioned The Waiter wearing the Cap. His response was "We are very Busy" I have also come across Rat Droppings under The Booths.

I'm a regular here at johns diner though I never sit in and eat I always order for delivery or pickup. Almost everyday I order the same thing, a Bacon Sausage egg and cheddar cheese on a roll. On June 6, 2017 at 2:03 I called for my regular sandwich to be delivered and it arrived at 2:20. The chef who made this sandwich made the most godly breakfast sandwich I ever had In my life. From the layers of food he put to how fresh the bread tasted. I appreciate you Mr.Chef and I hope your boss reads this and gives you a very nice and appreciated raise. You did well sir you did well. Everyone there is very friendly I love John's diner... he's so cool and his family very clean delicious food

I use to like this Diner. My last two visits were horrible. The food is standard Diner fare. The place smells like an exterminator just sprayed. I ordered Pancakes, Bacon and Coffee. The Bacon was a slab of meat, that even though cooked, still had cold Bacon grease on it. No Coffee refill and the Pancakes were bland.

The food is good its just that the service is not good. They sometimes make you pay for the coffee who the hell wants to pay for some damn coffee

I ordered sausage eggs and french fries and it was great the sausage and it was great it was delicious and they came fast

Wow better than expected! Incredible breakfast Had steak and eggs and the Denver omelet fast service and food was hot! A def recommend

Very yummy. Most of the staff is awesome. A family business. John is very nice guy. He greets everyone. His pizza shop which is right next door, has the best pizza this side of the Bronx. Oh at the diner try the Greek salad and the spaghetti and meatballs.

I was looking for a diner in my area and I found this one by the train station Parkchester. The diner still has that old school feel the 2 people booths are small and a bit cramped. Service was a bit slow at first but the waitress was very nice. The breakfast specials are very cheap and filling. I'm not sure if they take cards here because I brought cash. I had a good experience here overall.

This is a good restaurant to eat for either lunch or dinner and their dinner special you can't beat it's affordable, filling, and delicious! I also highly recommend their wraps for lunch. My favorite so far is their Greek wrap.

I personally love this diner. I go to this diner twice a week. Food is great and the service is excellent

John is a good guy. I love their chicken and rice soup. Good prices and they don't mind if you have breakfast for dinner. I don't trust their seafood though.

Went to Johns this past weekend with my family. It was a little crowded but we were seated by John within 5 minutes! Omar our waiter is friendly and attentive. The food was perfect my bacon was cooked just the way I like it and my husbands omelet was so tasty. We love coming to Johns and will be back next weekend. John and his wife are the sweetest people and so down to earth!

For the price? You can't beat this place. I have been to other diners where the food is a little better and the diner has parking, but you leave the place wondering why was that so expensive? Never really have to wait for a table. The food comes out fast and the servers are always asking you if you need refills. I always go with the French Toast with bacon and scrabble eggs. No matter what time of day I go in. The burgers are descent, not great. And the grilled chicken sandwich is delicious. Get it with bacon and Swiss cheese. However, I associate diners with breakfast, so that is what we mainly go for when we visit. Last time I was there I paid less than $20 for breakfast for two. That will always leave you with a smile given the quality of food that you receive and the price you paid for it. Give John's a shot.

Always get the bacon cheese burger with fries & it's great sometimes the beef if burnt also following with the bacon but it still take good after putting a lot of ketchup with mayo .. The lumberjack is great milkshakes r greater & they also have cheese cake that take very good.. That's all I've taste .
