Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile now. I love Mexican, and was excited by all the great reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the same.
I got chips and guacamole, and the chips were pretty good, and were the best part of my order. They had a red seasoning on them that made them pretty tasty. But the guacamole was tasteless, and seemed just like the guacamole you can get in a pouch at the grocery store, which also isn't good.
But my burrito was just awful. I don't like to even say that, but I didn't like it at all. I got a tofu burrito with rice, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. For some reason, it was really hot. But what part of what I got was spicy? I thought it must be the seasoning on the tofu, but I pulled a piece out to eat it by itself, and it wasn't hot. However, hot or not, I didn't like the seasoning on the tofu at all. I know there are reviews saying it was good, so it must be personal preference, but I did not like it. I don't think I've ever not finished a burrito in my life. If it is too big, I save the rest for later or something, but I ate a little more than half of this, and I was just done.
The service could also be improved. I called to order, and she answered "hello", so I didn't even know if I called the right place. Then when I picked up my food, they greeted me, but as I was signing my receipt, someone asked them something, and they didn't even acknowledge me again. It was just strange. And the screen door to the restaurant is in really bad shape.
I disliked my burrito enough that it's safe to say I won't be back here to give it another chance.
