JOIA by Pizzeria Des Moulins

The best pizza experience I have ever had! The staff were lovely and friendly throughout our two trips to this restaurant- it was that good! The pizzas were phenomenal both nights - I will not be looking at another pizza in England the same now! The burrata was amazing and delicious. The variety of pizzas available was incredible and all the staff were so welcoming and attentive. I love the fact you can see them making the pizzas downstairs and then sent up to your floor!

Phenomenal Pizza! The dough is of high quality, with the perfect texture and easily digested. We were very impressed with the quality of the topings, they don't use any canned vegetables here, everything is fresh and top quality. The olives were marinated and full of flavor! Our go-to order was the 4 stagioni.

I have got to say this pizza was amazing and we all enjoyed it but our only problem was that each of us has to order an entree and it was too much food. There’s no way one person can eat a whole pizza but we could not share or they added a 10 euro charge. Even with drinks etc.

I ordered pizza and tortelli for two people. The portion sizes were quite generous which let us feeling overly full. The tortelli was too salty for our taste. After we finished our meal, the staff kindly asked for feedback and I mentioned that the portions were too large for us. Their attentiveness was appreciated but the salty tortelli was a bit disappointing.

Very generous with the toppings but pizza itself is soggy. Great choices on the menu. Gluten free pizza base very average. There are 2 seatings 6:30/8:30. Ricotta starter excellent. Good service and well run pizza spot so it’s very no fuss but can’t get past the soggy base.

Very good spot for pizza and other Italian dishes. Tried both of their salad and they were super tasty, and ingredients super fresh. Might be quite busy though during the day.

Fabulous restaurant. Accommodated my group of 7 for lunch without a reservation. Lovely drinks and delicious food. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and were very attentive. The longer I stayed in Chamonix, the more people I would pass holding boxes from JOIA! So many people were getting pizza for takeout. Popular for a reason and I would definitely recommend!

We loved the food, very big portions so at least we got a takeaway box. Loved the truffle options. Really recommend!!!
