I decided to give Jolly’s Indian Bistro a try because of their “Buy One Get One Free” offer. Unfortunately, I regret not being more skeptical. The food was a major letdown.
The mutton rogan josh, supposedly a top dish, was so salty and spicy it was practically inedible. The rice was sticky, yellow, and clumpy—absolutely unappetizing. To make matters worse, they served naan in a paper bag instead of wrapping it in aluminum foil. What kind of presentation is that?
Ironically, the random tiny box of chickpeas they threw in was the only remotely decent part of the meal, and it wasn’t even the main focus.
Seriously, tone down the salt. Over-seasoning can ruin dishes and, frankly, could be dangerous for customers’ health.
