JOLO Winery and Vineyards with End Posts Restaurant

We came in on a Friday evening for a 6 o’clock tasting and a 730 reservation. Jewellianna Was in charge of our tasting and she was amazing! So fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. She also got us finished up just in time for a dinner reservation. Catie Beth was our server for dinner, and she was a riot! We had a group of six girls for a girls weekend, and she fit right in with us and we had such a good time with her. Amazing personalities and just a fun night! Thank you both for making our night memorable. I guess I should also mention the wine! The wine is phenomenal. Most of our group bought a few bottles before we left. And dinner was top-notch! The food was so good. We did come in the evening when it was already dark outside. I’ve heard that the views are spectacular, so we will definitely be coming back for a day trip! 10 out of 10 recommend!

The wine tasting was excellent. We loved the wines! Jewelliana did a great job. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and we had great conversation. Dinner was delicious as well as well. The ambience is charming elegant and very well thought out. The grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a great experience today checking out the winery to have lunch. The views were spectacular! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was wonderful! We will definitely be returning with our friends in the future.

Absolutely beautiful. We stopped on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. We enjoyed a sweet white wine and a bottle of Sangria. We also had a wonderful Tuna Appetizer plate. (Can’t remember the name) and it was amazing! We sat outside and could see Pilot Mountain in the distance. I highly recommend you visit. Everyone was very friendly.

Jolo was a great experienced love the tastings etc. Very homey and welcoming. Food was light on the veggies. NY Strip is complimentary to the Anniversary wine. So good. Jolo- twinkles, tart but much better than champagne Golden Hallows Reserve - tart Jolotage Reserve - good bouquet but tart Carolus XII - patty likes this. Joel thinks it’s still to tart. But 2% petit verdot. Cuvee - still pretty complex, tart a little bit. I like it. Patty doesn’t. Would go well. Needs to be paired with something. 18% Petit Verdot Pilot Fog - almost like a bourbon. Still pretty tart. Smooth and deep. Full. Tenth Anniversary- Full bodied. Definitely the best one here. “Sippable” Cabernet Sauvignon- still tart, but very good. Candles were superb!

We adore this place! The wine is great and atmosphere is beautiful… service is always kind and helpful! We come often enough, in pilot mt there isn’t anything higher quality then this place. You can walk around the winery, eat inside or outside! There is a bar and outdoor bar too with fireplace for cool nights. That have events and tastings too! Parking is close and they have reserved as well… (This is hopefully taken as some helpful criticism) Our complaint is that… this time I was here again for my birthday, and they were out of my go to beach bubbles for appetizer… but they were offering it in the mocktails instead cause it was an old vintage we were told- witch is understandable… but then they said well we have some but it’s only for the membership people rn… so they really do care about you being apart of the membership… I think… as well as I feel your seating isn’t the best either…and Im sure there are many perks for being a member, like reserved parking.. or for instance discounts…things like that, but for the average person who wouldn’t benefit from the membership (we get sooo much wine and beer from our jobs to try…so no need for a membership) but instead we spend on bottles when we’re there for the experience… I feel like it would be nice if they have all areas for non members to enjoy too —- like example maybe on Friday and Saturday those areas are specifically for members only, and during the weekday…when it’s not busy that would be an area for guest to be able to sit and enjoy a different table spot for once …I’m kind of tired of sitting in the middle sandwich between other guests, of their outdoor dining spot every time… this is the 5x is the same spot —-especially with the sun shining in our eyes…. *sigh - a different time we sat inside next to the fireplace and it was sweltering. Even the other customers asked if we could open the side door. It was that hot in there! Maybe next time I’ll enjoy the bar area with an appetizer :/ The food is better than good, but it’s not better than Print works bistro or Ruth’s Chris steak… for instance I got the steak and au gratin and it really wasn’t that special they’re au gratin was not good at all. I did not finish it, sadly … and I added 2 scallops and that was by far better than my steak! However I usually get their scallops because I know there are on point… and their risotto is very tasty. or their beef Bourgnon with the pilot Fog!! their appetizer crab dip is very good too! That’s what I suggest… they used to have truffle fries that were pretty good, but they don’t anymore and there was another appetizer. We used to get this other app that was amazing- cheese & prosciutto on bread but they don’t have that either. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a quality dining experience and view…we will be back im sure! Maybe I can mend my review a bit lol

We did a fall wine tasting, their Chardonnay is nice, the Pink was nice. Their Reds are spectacular. Lunch was very good. Our waitress was very accommodating and helpful.

My husband John and I spent Valentine’s Day 2025 at JoLo Winery (wine tasting! ($35 pp)), and followed it with an incredible dinner experience at the restaurant. It was beyond De-Lish! *Nicole* was our A-MAZING Server! We’ll be sure to request her next time. We even joined the JoLo Wine Club, and benefited from the offered discounts, excitedly leaving with three bottle of scrumptious wines from our wine tasting adventure! If you can, come early! Enjoy sitting in their comfortable outdoor space, while simply gazing in wonderment at the stunning, lucious, wine-designed landscape, with a delectable glass (or 2) of fine wine! I can’t think of a better way to spend th day.

I got the opportunity to visit JOLO Winery and Vineyards with End Posts Restaurant in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina. This location is at the foot of Pilot Mountain. The look of it is enchanting and the ambiance is a jewel! In arriving we were greeted by Jerry Ann, who introduced the different wines based on our preference. She was extremely knowledgeable In discussing the history and wine process. Kind, courteous, professional and accommodating to our needs. I enjoyed sampling the many wines, they all had distinct notes. My favorite is JOLO Pink. This wine has essence of strawberry, melon, white flowers and citrus. It has an amazing taste! Omg, the food was delicious. Everything was rich and indulgent! I had the Herb Crusted Grouper with smoked gouda cheese polenta, and roasted vegetables. This was so good, it had me craving more! We each had exquisite dishes, too many to name but they were scrumptious! I met Levi, who is the Vice President of JOLO BRANDS Experience. This gentleman is well educated, and full of life in sharing the history and experiences of the vineyard. It was truly a delight in having the opportunity of speaking with him. He shared a wealth of information that was astonishing. Kudos to this guy!!! To all the wine lovers, please check out this vineyard along with Rayson Vineyard & Winery. Tell them Kim sent you:) You will adore this place!

Our server, Victoria, was fabulous. She gave us great recommendations, was efficient without being overbearing, and importantly was very friendly. She recommended the Eggplant, which I had it was wonderful. My wife had the beef bourgeon, which she thought was outstanding. Our friends had the grouper and pork chop that they said was outstanding. Again, as a result of Victoria's recommendation we are joining the Wine Club at the highest level. The drive up to the winery is beautiful but the view from the restaurant is spectacular.

My fiancé and I came back here to celebrate our engagement anniversary. It was only about a 30 min drive from Winston-Salem downtown. He proposed at Jolo last year and the views are absolutely beautiful. We sat outside under their covered area and even though it rained, we were still able to enjoy being outside (w/ a rainbow afterwards!). They gave us 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. Pros: We ordered the haddock and the steak Diane. The food tasted incredible and their menu offers suggestions of which of their wines would go best with their dishes, which I appreciated. A lot of their wines also listed which awards they've won, which was fun to see. The waitress was so nice and friendly and offered to take a picture of us with the rainbow as well. The wines tasted great and really complimented the dishes. Cons: I think they were short staffed this day and this didn't take away from our experience, but our entrees came out much before our glasses of wine (they kept saying it should be out shortly) Would I go back? Yes! The outdoor views are breathtaking and food was great

This was a fantastic day. The views are just amazing. The food was just fantastic. The service was good. We had the scallops, Blackened salmon, grouper and the Medallion Diane, crab dip, Thai shrimp, oysters. Plus various glasses of wine. It just feels like a restaurant on a hill. I'd appreciate the opportunity to walk around the vineyards vs having to take what could be a 2 hour tour on a bus. I was told that the terrain isn't designed to walk. A little disappointed as I wanted to take the fantastic glass of wine and sit in the sun as I walked around the property, but was unable to do that.

A lovely day to be at jolo for their quarterly wine pickup event. Greeted by the usual cheery staff with Jerry Ann up front. The meal today was excellent. Pasta Primavera, chicken puttanesca and heavenly brownies with macerated berries in sweet vermouth. Actually had to go back for seconds. It was that good. Got to meet and chat with the events chef. Great meal.

We celebrated a friend's 31st birthday and I was so impressed by the view, staff, & taste! The atmosphere was inviting and so charming along with excellent food options and flavors! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu had too many good options it was nice to narrow it down. I enjoyed the view even if it started to rain, we were covered by the pergolas set up along their patio! What a great experience here at Jolo!

This place is just amazing. Fantastic views and great service. My mom and I stopped here on our way to North Carolina for vacation and then stopped again on our way back. Food and wine were delicious. I even bought a bottle of wine to take home. Wish it was closer to Ohio.

Beautiful venue! Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the outside atmosphere as the bottom fe out right when we arrived. We booked a reservation for a tasting and dinner. Levi was great & super knowledgeable about the wines. But he needed some help as he was doing 3 tastings at once and also trying to help other tables, and seem a bit overwhelmed and just trying to give everyone a great experience, so we weren't upset. Someone did eventually jump in to finish our tasting. Dinner was delicious! Our table had the butternut squash ravioli, chicken saltimbocca, chicken Marsala, and the grouper and we all enjoyed our dishes. Portion sizes were great. Wine prices were higher than we're used to, but that reflects the more sophisticated experience and atmosphere. Overall, a good time was had by all. We were there celebrating a few birthdays & they offered some free bubbly for us, which was a thoughtful touch (it was called Twinkles - one of my favorites that we tasted).

Finally came out to visit Jolo with the ladies. Our theme for brunch: Clueless, Tweed & Pearls. Lol We were the only ones "dressed up". Jolo is a beautiful winery. We had reservations for brunch then a wine tasting after. The service was good, everyone greeted us and the food came out fairly quick. We ordered the crab dip for the table which I suggest everyone orders it's so good creamy and has a lot of lumps of crab. My eggs Benedict was perfect! The only thing that was lacking was the flavor in the potatoes. I really wish they seasoned them, but I had ketchup so that helped. The ladies I went with had issues with their food and the main complaint was lack of flavor. One of my friends asked for cheese in the eggs, when it came to the table it was shredded cheese sitting on top of eggs, not melted, just sitting there. The wine tasting was great! I love all their red wines! So good! We also ordered a few desserts. All were really tasty! The limoncello cake was divine! My fave! We also ordered the bread pudding and crème brûlée. Overall it was a fun brunch with the ladies. I'd come back for another tasting and that cake!

Delicious meal in a lovely setting. Can't beat the view, wine is fantastic, food well-prepared, what's not to love? Group of six and all of us cleaned our plates and enjoyed trying a variety of wines. Service was a tad slow but we weren't in a hurry.

One of my favorite wineries!!! The staff is amazing! The food is delicious (I've NEVER had anything bad) and the wine is top tier!!! Not to mention, grown in the NC mountains! A fun place to go anytime of year! Go for a girls day, a day with your love, a business brunch or just to have a good time! Sip your wine as you look at the beauty that is Pilot Mountain. The best view! Be sure to go and visit!

Food as okay, had high expectations due to some friends' recommendation. Food was overly salted. Service was extra good, prompt & friendly. The staff in the tasting room were knowledgeable and back each other up as a team. We had reservation for tasting (2 person) at 11:30 & dining reservation for 12:45pm. The tasting staff was great at bouncing back & forth with us & a big group. Jerry Ann (VP of wine club) & Miranda were very knowledgeable and pleasant to learn from. We came in July so outside sitting was a little on the sweaty side for my hubby. They had one fan for the entire shaded dining areas. Nice view over the lake & vineyard!

There were four of us, two couples, and we happened to each order a different entree. Each of us said our entree was the best ever had, truly amazing food! Great service and very good wine as well.

I don't have a ton of pictures, but this place was so lovely. I met 5 girlfriends here for a delayed Christmas dinner. First, I love that you had e to be 21 to enter the property! As a mom, I love that there is a place where I can be completely child free. The venue is very romantic looking when you drive up. There's a main building and 2 enclosed/heated gazebos that over look the lake. I definitely want to go back in the spring when it warms up. Our server MJ was very charismatic and attentive. She took our orders without writing anything down and everything was accurate. For drinks, I started with the peach bellini and ended with a Sangria. They were both well made and not too sweet. I make my own Sangria and have very high standards. Theirs was really good. Everyone else said positive things about their drinks, too! I ordered the Thai Shrimp and Pommes Frits as the appetizers and the Scallops & Fall Risotto as my entre. All were delicious. The shrimp were crispy with just enough Thai chili sauce, the fries were perfection. Just the right size and fried to perfection with the dusting of parm. The Scallops were perfectly pan seared. My only issue was with the risotto. It was a bit too al dente and salty for my liking. To get through it I had to take a bit along with each bite of Scallop. I didn't complain or send it back though. I just wouldn't order it again. The rest of the table got a few salads and pasta. All said they were delicious. Overall a great experience. I would love to have a date night there, but I would want to hire a car so that we can fully enjoy ourselves and drink more!

This winery is a scenic, hour drive from Greensboro, sitting just around the bend from Pilot Mountain. We had a reservation for Mother's Day, one of the four days out of the year they allow children onto the property. Any other day, this winery has a strict 21+ age limit that they adhere to. I had no idea when we got there that you can make reservations for wine tastings and the restaurant. We only had reservations for the restaurant. What a beautiful property with indoor and outdoor seating. You drive onto the property, with the vineyards at the forefront. The parking was a bit hectic on this day because of the holiday but they did have parking to accommodate everyone. I was greeted immediately upon walking in and they were able to seat us promptly. I highly recommend a reservation as the dining room is not very big. I was also impressed that they have a membership and there were a few regulars chatting it up with the staff, that gave a very welcoming, familiar atmosphere to the dining room. I immediately ordered a Bellini that was perfectly balanced with the peach juice and sparkling wine. They only serve water and wine/wine-tails to keep their focus on the winery, so be prepared for that. We started with the crab dip that was served with crispy crostinis, the dish was cheesy with lump pieces of crab meat. Overall a very good dish, that just needs a few more crostinis. My dish was the Steak Diane, which came with perfectly cooked filet medallions with pommes purée (mashed potatoes) with some carrots and fresh green beans. Paired perfectly with my glass of Jolotage Reserve. This red wine paired perfectly with the steak dish; it gave hints of berries with a slightly peppery finish. The medallions were tender and the dish had the perfect amount of cream sauce. The vegetables were cooked but not overly so, the green beans and carrots still had some firmness to them, which complimented the other textures on the plate. My dining party had the Seafood Alfredo with scallops and shrimp. It needed to be seasoned a bit more but the seafood was definitely the star of the dish. The scallops and shrimp were jumbo sized. I finished my meal with the Espresso Martini Crème Brûlée. They toasted the perfect amount of brûlée on my crème! As an avid coffee drinker, this was one of the best crème brûlées I've ever eaten. This meal was about $160 for two people, not too bad, but definitely worth it for a special occasion. This is a locally owned winery, and with that being said, pay attention to the alcohol percentages of the wine, they tend to be higher when the wine is locally produced. Overall, a wonderful experience which has me definitely wanting to return to do brunch and a wine tasting.

I have been to a lot of wineries but this one is a must see. Number one in the us outside of Napa . We checked it out on our way to north Carolina. Ended up having dinner there. Beautiful outdoor seating and view. The food and wine was great . We had the Thai chile panko shrimp for an appetizer and I had the beef bourguignon and my daughter had the tuna tempura . All very good. They also have a wine club that you can enjoy but we live tofar away to take advantage of it . We loved the place so much that a week later on the way back to Columbus we stopped again and had dinner . This is a must see place . Service was great

It's time to update my JOLO review from really good to great! We had a delicious brunch/lunch on Sunday. My husbands only thought was he needed more sauce on the eggplant rollatini. Other than that all our meals were tasty, served warm and perfectly seasoned. Service is outstanding both for dinner and our knowledgeable tasting host. It was such a great experience. The ambiance and the warm and friendly professional staff really make this vineyard a must see. I can honestly say that NC grown grapes/wine gets better every year. Their restaurant is also top notch with a changing menu according to the Boston native owner's whim. The owner and his VP are charming and accommodating. The place is packed and has lots of good energy. A definite must visit on anyone's wine tour. Reservations are required for every event so make sure you plan.

This is a beautiful winery and the food is stellar. Highly recommend a day trip! Their pink and sav blanc are my faves! Great service and attention to detail. Make sure to grab reservations!

One of my favorite wineries in the area! Absolutely love JOLO! The drive up to the winery is absolutely gorgeous around this time of the year, the scenery is just absolutely breathtaking. You can sit outside and sip on wine and look at Pilot Mountain in the distance! The wine - JOLO proudly pours some of the most delicious tasting wine, not to mention they've won countless awards for their wines. They've won a lot in the state but they've won a lot of awards nationwide too! They're putting NC on the map! I did a wine tasting it was $35, and it featured 7 of their wines. The food- JOLO's food is divine! Everything is freshly made there. And their restaurant is called the End Posts! I got their eggplant rotolini this time around and it was so light and earthy, it was delicious! I usually get their butternut squash ravioli which is also amazing. Their vegetarian options are commendable! The service- As if the above wasn't good enough, the service is what really drives the place as well. Everyone is so friendly, so kind, and they genuinely seem like they love working there. They're all so proud of the wines and the awards they've won it all adds to the experience that you're truly in a world class winery right in good 'ole NC!

JOLO is a beautiful place that is well appointed and known for its wine and food. I came to dine for the first time with a small group of friends and co-workers for a retirement dinner. The weather was perfect for the evening meal. We were seated in an outdoor semi-permanent tent area. Our main server was Maranda, and she was assisted by a couple of other staff. Excellent professional service. We ordered some appetizers for the table: meatballs (so good!), tuna with crostini, fries, and shrimp with some kind of sweet/sour sauce. All of them are quite good. I ordered haddock with a pesto sauce. There was a good portion of fish and it was cooked perfectly and had a beautiful texture and flavor. I could eat that all day. It had a side of carrots and green beans, both not being mushy or overcooked. I don't drink alcohol, but there were a couple of bottles of wine on the table and lots of exclamations about how good it was. I think the only downside, and it's a small one, is that they have only wine, juice, and water to drink. For those who don't drink alcohol, it was lacking. A mocktail or some kind of lemonade would have been nice. Overall, this is a great restaurant that I would gladly come back to.

Great little spot with fantastic views of Pilot Mountain. We sat outside in the covered and heated area with the great views! Our server Coleman was awesome. She was very attentive and able to make recommendations as needed. The food was delivered quickly and with care. We the frites and the crab dip as appetizers for the table. Both were very good. I ordered the sausage bianco flatbread and some sangria. It was wonderful! Great meal! The flatbread was perfectly cooked with a slight crust to the cheese and the flatbread was still soft and chewy. The only downside to the whole experience was that the food had to be transported from the kitchen outside through the cold weather to our table. The food did cool off a bit, but was still warm. Overall, a great experience. I will be back when the trees have leaves and the views get even better.

We had planned to spend an afternoon at Jo but there's not as much to do as we thought. We had reservations for lunch which. Was great and the service was spot on. The interior dining area was freezing cold like an ice box and a bit uncomfortable. We - as luck would have it- got the table near the door so the traffic around our table was constant and unyielding. Good wine and food. Just needed more to do while there.

Listen.. If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would! Heck if I could give a Michelin Star, I'd do that as well. I don't think there's anything additional that I can say about this winery that hasn't already been said! The scenery is breath taking and my experience from start to finish was better than any winery I've been to. How am I just now discovering this gem? The pictures of the food speak for themselves, and I couldn't stop speaking of the food for at least a week as I made plans to return with everyone I know! If you want to enjoy this winery as a solo, couple or large party, I believe this is the right place for it all. Love love love!

Went to Jolo for dinner with friends on a Friday night. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended. Our server was prompt and very courteous. I had the Scallops. My wife and I split a bottle of the Golden Hallows white wine (Vidal Blanc and Traminette). We ate in a cover outdoor patio with views of Pilot Mountain. The views are stunning.

Such a great day at the winery! The service was excellent, they really took care of us. The setting is beautiful with pilot mountain off in the distance. We enjoyed several appetizers and I had a fall risotto for lunch, so tasty! The wine was good, bottles are a bit pricey, but they do offer a discount for wine club members. Overall, a great day!

Family-operated and veteran-owned JOLO Winery is an award-winning and top-rated winery outside of California and located in a scenic location. Because our daughter invited my wife and me to a JOLO wine-tasting, our first, we gladly accepted and were delighted throughout the entire experience. We chose the Traditional Tasting - 1 sparkling, 1 white, 1 rosé, 3 red wines, and 1 dessert wine of our choosing. I personally enjoyed all the wines. Our wine-tasting guide, Maranda, spoke knowledgeably and engagingly about JOLO's wine-making facts, award-winning wines, and the specifics about each wine that we tasted. Maranda's personable interaction was one of the highlights of our time. At the end we had the opportunity to purchase wines and it was tempting to buy more than one. But we purchased one, Sweet Vermouth, as a gift. Overall, we enjoyed the whole experience, and we'd love to return.

We used to be premier wine club members at JOLO and always enjoyed our visits. The food has consistently been great, and the wine is good--especially for North Carolina wines. Unfortunately, the service has declined. During a recent lunch with out-of-town guests, our meals arrived nearly 20 minutes before theirs. We didn't want to be rude and eat without them, so by the time their food finally came, our shrimp was cold and our salad soggy. Our server was also difficult to find, which made the experience more frustrating. Afterward, we planned to use complimentary tasting certificates that had been given to us by a JOLO employee at a recent business event. We were surprised and disappointed to learn they had expired just two days earlier and would not be honored. At that point, we decided to leave. This experience, combined with several others we've had in the past, ultimately led us to discontinue our nearly $400-per-quarter membership. It has become increasingly difficult to justify continuing as patrons--or investing the kind of money we used to spend here.

A beautiful spot for an outing with friends or loved ones. Gorgeous patio seating available under the cover of umbrellas as well as seating inside. Reservations are encouraged as they stay very busy. Parking fills up and most park along the entrance parallel style. Both food and wine are truly amazing. One of my favorite wineries in the state. We have eaten here many times and have always left full and happy that we came. We signed up for Cuvee membership since we were so impressed back when we started dining at JOLO.

Beautiful views, super quick & friendly service, delicious food!! Their wines and wine cocktails were fantastic as well. Just be prepared to drop some cash on this experience. But definitely worth coming here for a meal! The only negative is they don't let pups come here even the outdoor areas. No kids either.

Went for a wine tour and dinner. Very informative! The staff were pleasant! Even was waited on by the VP himself! Great place for a hot date!!! Definitely going back!

We needed a place to meet near Mt. Airy for a friend's funeral service. In looking online, and finding Jolo Winery - it sounded delightful. We were not disappointed. Our meeting and conversation with Levi, while waiting for our table was very informative. Caitlin and all the waitstaff were so very knowledgeable and attentive. The wine and the food - all wonderfully delicious. We all enjoyed everything!! The winery and scenery itself - absolutely gorgeous!!! What a jewel!! I will most definitely return and bring more friends along!!!

My boyfriend and I made reservations for lunch at 2. Despite arriving early, we were still seated right away. We enjoyed our lunch outside in a very beautiful and comfortable gazebo area. Our server Hadly was incredibly friendly and attentive! We enjoyed the goat cheese for an appetizer, and had the scallops and chicken piccata for entrees. Food was exceptional all around! Enjoyed some glasses of wine according to the suggested pairings, which were superb. We were accommodated for an earlier wine tasting experience (reservations weren't for another hour after we finished lunch). The VP of JOLO experience, Levi, was absolutely fantastic for our wine tasting. Very knowledgeable and friendly! The hospitality from all the staff was noticeable and greatly appreciated. We enjoyed 7 different wines, all incredible. We bought three bottles to go at the end! My only dismay is how far away we live from this beautiful winery! If you are traveling or live in the area, it is a must visit.

JOLOOOOO! Having been a wine club member here for three years, I can attest to three things. 1) JW the owner knows his stuff. 2) The wines never disappoint, and the way that man gets the body and flavor out of NC grapes is amazing. 3) There seems to be no ceiling on the prices. Seriously. What used to be their flagship wines at $60-$65 at bottle are now some of their cheapest. I love them, but I have to admit I don't go as often as I used to or buy as many bottles beyond my wine club allotments. That said, everything sells out quickly, so prices don't seem to have hit equilibrium yet. One huge treat for club members is the Cuvée Experience, a four-course meal with five wines. It's amazing, and the service and wine can't be beat.

Incredible! The view the food the service. First Class. Maddie was a perfect server. Omg. We will be back. Over and over. Had haddock. Cin had grouper. Perfect. The wine? Well I can't stop thinking about it. Wow! And only 2 miles from my house. Dangerous

Wine tasting & lunch were both amazing. The grounds and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and the staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They really made my birthday a special day!

Great tasting. Quality might be the best in NC. I loved the whites. That sweet vermouth shocked me. It didn't taste like other dessert wines. Not too sweet. The scenery is beautiful. With that said the tasting is a little overpriced. It should be about 18 rather than 25. We loved talking to Maranda. I'd come back with friends from out of town

Came in for Mother's Day wine tasting and lunch and had an amazing time. They were definitely busy and the kitchen got behind but they gave us a complementary glass of wine at the end of our tasting. Our wine tasting was done by Heather and she was knowledgeable, funny, and customized my mom's tasting for more sweeter wines. She helped us sign up for the club which gave us a great deal on our wines to take home. She brought our wines over to our lunch reservation table. The manager Or owner stopped by during our wine tasting and he was also very friendly. Our waiter was Ethan and he did an amazing job. He made sure we had water and wine and kept us updated about our food. We had a few menu questions and he was able to answer them. We had crab dip and meatballs for appetizers . Both were great came out hot and fresh. My sister loved the risotto with salmon. She said it was the best restaurant salmon. my mom had the pork ribeye and she again said it was amazing even with the apricot glaze. She's not a big sauce a condiment person but she said it went really well together. She said it was tender and seasoned perfect. I got the Cuban bistec and wasn't sure what to expect but all the flavors made it amazing. The fries were crispy and the garlic and Parmesan wasn't over powering. The steak was like nothing I had before but all the flavors from the onions and peppers to the marinara to the chimichurri went together very well! We had an outside table and with the breeze and little bit of overcast it was a perfect day for sipping on wines outside! We joined the wine club so will definitely be back!

I was mistakenly drawn to this venue for its views and idyllic setting, which was all there, but beyond that, the beauty faded quickly. JoLo was either oversold and/or understaffed (or both) and as a venue that opperates 100% by appointment only, you'd think they'd be able to manage turnout, but our visit was a HUGE disappointment! At dinner, our food was delayed for over an hour-plus. Our server blamed it on a large party dining there but when our food FINALLY arrived, it was cold, dry, and overcooked. Prior to dinner, we'd made reservations for a wine tasting. During the tasting our server struggled to fit us in between the two parties of six each plus the couple at the bar all while she was running food and drinks out to patio diners outdoors. We were left for long stretches of time in between wine pours causing both couples in our group to be late and miss their dinner reservations. JoLo claims to produce "World Class" wines but the only thing "World Class" there is the hype. The wine was just OK, or less than. Save your money. JoLo is way overpriced and way overhyped.

Meal with a view. JOLO winery has some of the best local wine and food on the menu. Love this place for a special celebration. Outdoor seating is covered and heated during the winter! This visit was for my mom's birthday, we had a private patio. On the menu- I had braised beef, perfect comfort food for a winter afternoon. My mom had scallop risotto, cooked perfectly. We ordered one of each dessert and shared. The wine I ordered, was served in the biggest wine glass! ( I love a sexy glass). We had a beautiful day. My belly is quite happy abd so is my heart. Thank you JOLO!

Attended the wine club pickup party today. Always a great time hearing about the wines and enjoying a great meal with the other wine club members. The food was great. I really love all the wines here. If you visit, I recommend grabbing some food in the restaurant. Reservations are required for eating and tasting. Take home a bottle of the Jolo Pink. You won't be disappointed!

Be greeted by someone with a smile and happy to see you, not someone asking rudely what you were there for. We randomly stopped, if you have a reservation you will be treated well. If you stop by just to check it out, I suggest you don't. Will never stop again!

We visited the impost for lunch. It was such a great lunch with a beautiful view! The service was very fast, and the staff was very friendly. The pasta was made fresh and full of flavor and my friend ordered the scallops and she enjoyed them very much as well. I also loved how they pair each of their wines as a recommendation for each entrée on the menu. It's also a great place to visit for dinner. I also recommend doing their seasonal tasting if you have time in your schedule. I can't wait to visit here again!

As always, Jolo Winery is phenomenal! The food, the wine, all excellent. We highly recommend this amazing venue/restaurant!

Always a great choice. One of the Greater Triad's gems. Pacing was askew today yet was managed well. Looking forward to our next visit with our out of town friends and family!

I don't even know where to begin with this vineyard. Driving up to the property is so beautiful and gives an automatic aura of relaxation. Once inside your automatically greeted and made to feel right at home. My husband and I decided to do the reserve wine tasting, which included 6 different red wines to taste and finishes with their sweet vermouth (which would be perfect by itself but stunning in a Manhattan). My husband and I were then escorted outside to enjoy our lunch on the patio overlooking the lake and pilot Mountain. The wine caught me off guard with how smooth and luxurious they all tasted, I felt like I was back in wine country in California! My husband and I were most shocked by the food, this is definitely a five star dining experience while remaining reasonably priced. The lamb was some of the best lamb I've had in years, I didn't want the meal to end. If you have a love for nature, wine, food, or all three than you have found your spot. My husband and I quickly joined their wine club and are excited to make this one of regular spots when in the NC area.

We had guests from Brazil that didn't speak English very well and we were trying to explain the menu to them and the owner came (stormed) over and loudly (very rudely) proceeded to throw us out... no explanation! Go at your own risk!

Beautiful place. Had dinner date with husband for Valentine's day. The food was amazing and the service was very good.

Jolo Winery is simply *outstanding*. They offer a wine-flight tasting that is a _great_ precursor to their fine dining. Jolo is a little bit of Napa right there in North Carolina. :) As a winery, of course their wine is great. Plus, the service is very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. The people have a positive passion for what they do & it carries into the wine & accompanying cuisine. The atmosphere is fantastic - they've paid a lot of attention to the details. I'd recommend reservations for both tastings and/or dining. If you're making the journey here, my strong recommendation is to go for both. This winery is doing one heck of a business we decided to get a reservation on Mother's Day, because that is one of the only days of the year that children are allowed at the Vineyard of course, with it being a holiday, it was crowded and swarming with people. The food is good and on the expensive side my wine was delicious. I got a Rose'I would like to go here, on non-holiday with a group of girlfriends and have a more relaxing time and explore the surroundings a bit more
