Gluten-Free bread available by request. 10 Stars all around. Our server, Úlfurinn, was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and he provided us with excellent recommendations on plates, complimentary drinks and desserts. (GF marzipan dessert available). 1/2 servings allow for sampling of more than one dish if you are feeling adventurous or torn between plates. The food and service was so amazing that we ate dinner here twice on our 4 day stay. Best rustic GF bread I have ever had in my entire life. We highly recommend this restaurant, reservations are a good idea during peak hours. Many thanks to Úlfur!

We ordered the luxus plate and everything tasted good. Everything else tasted good but our favorite was the raw egg, mixed with some snaps and blue cheese. We got lucky with the weather and ate outside. It was relaxing

Very tasty open-faced samdwiches! I had the vegan, and husband had the lamb and a herring, all were very good. Check out the coupon.is app, they had a 20% off for this place. Server was so lovely, gave us lots of good recommendations for what to have at the restaurant and also for things to do in town.

Stopped there on our first night in Reykjavik and it was a wonderful dinner place, we could see that this place was very local. Starting with the food, their national drinks and obviously the Nordic hospitality. I highly recommend to you this restaurant, a place not to miss for tourists willing to explore the real side of Reykjavik

Amazing food. We started with a tray of herring prepared different ways. Several of us had the veal schnitzel which was delicious. Another had one of the open face sandwiches and loved it. The potatoes with the veal deserve mention as well. Would definitely come again.

What a great place in Reykjavik! We made reservations and were seated promptly. The server was super friendly and he gave great recommendations and explained everything in detail. All of the food was super fresh and well presented, my roasted pork was so so good. The desserts were also off the charts great! If I lived here, it would be a regular spot.

I have almost died 2 times in the last 4 years, and this was the 3rd time....but I have honestly near died and gone to heaven with this one. The food is beyond reproach, the service is friendly, the restaurant is immaculate and I am a very very happy woman right now. Thank you so very much for a truly delicious and delectable experience.
