This place is a gem. Some of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Food taste like mom cooked it. Busy but efficient. Friendly staff and good prices. Easily of the best restaurants in downtown clayton.

First time diner and I tell you I WILL BE BACK! Got there early for breakfast and was in and out with a full belly in no time. The French toast was delicious.

My food didn’t even stand a chance ! I forgot to take a photo cause I DIGGED IN! I pass this restaurant every day to work and always wanted to stop but you know work calls. Today I had the pleasure of stopping and trying out their food and OMGSH ! Definitely coming back I got the 2 egg platters with sausage link and it was a LINK! With French toast and hash brown (I mean McDonald’s hash brown MY FAVORITE)

Excellent as always. Great value for price. Definitely a local recommendation and locally-owned. Southern hospitality. Huge pancakes. Wonderful service. The hashbrowns with grilled onions was excellent.

Super friendly and cozy diner with tasty food and great prices! We loved the atmosphere and the food was great. My husband had the smoked sausage dog and I had the double cheeseburger deluxe. We both shared a large chili cheese fries. Everything was fantastic and service was friendly. If we're ever in the area again we'll be back!

Make sure you're hungry! Great advice from the waitress regarding salad dressing;don't pour it over your salad, but kinda dip your salad into the dressing. Why you ask? Cause you're not going to finish it and dressing makes it soggy 👊

Excellent 🌭HOTDOGS 🌭If you want a hotdog experience, this is your place. Steamed bun, homemade slaw, Carolina Packer hotdogs, and great chilli🌭 Staff was delightful, plenty of seating, reasonably priced, and great food. This place is an institution and a must visit if you are in the area! Highly recommend 🌟 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭

Jones Cafe is a small town relic. It looked like home to all the regulars and staff. The inside literally felt like a capsule from the past. Known for their continuation of the red hot dogs. -- I ordered a chili dog with slaw and chicken fingers with fries. Chili hot dog was everything I was hoping for and everything all together was just under $11. It was a relief to have an economic meal on our road trip. Kinda awesome to see a wide range of generations inside enjoying their meals. I hope to see Jones Cafe continue to serve the generations to come.
