Jones the Grocer, Al Manara (Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai)

During a quick meeting on our trip to Dubai, we decided to stop by Jones the Grocer, located at Indigo Central 8, Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Times Square Building, Al Manara, Dubai. At first glance, from the outside, it honestly felt more like a supermarket than a café or restaurant. But the moment you step inside, the experience completely changes. For someone living in Dubai, this might feel like an everyday spot, but as a tourist, it was actually fun and interesting to see something different. The place is a unique mix of a café, restaurant, and grocery store, yet it doesn’t feel like any one specific thing. There are comfortable sofas and chairs for sitting and chatting, as well as proper tables where people were working or having meetings. Some might compare it to Starbucks, but this place has a completely different vibe—more relaxed, more premium, and more thoughtfully designed. We ordered three hot chocolates and one Americano, and the total bill came to around 80 Dirhams. The drinks were well made, and the service was quick and smooth. The atmosphere was calm, with soft music playing in the background, making it an ideal place for conversations or focused work. The place was quiet, clean, and very well organized. Another plus is the convenience—there is parking available around the location, washroom facilities inside, and everything felt easy and accessible. It ended up being a great decision for a quick meeting, especially when you want a comfortable space without too much noise or rush. Overall, the service, vibe, and experience were excellent. I would definitely recommend Jones the Grocer. Since they have multiple branches, you can visit any of them to get the same experience. A great spot to relax, meet, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee in Dubai.

The food and the server Sandra along with all the staff was very accommodating and helpful especially the Manager Ruby she was fantastic and very kind, nicest person we ever met. The ambiance was amazing very pleasant and very friendly. We will definitely come again .❤️

I had the pleasure of being served by Sandra during my visit to Jones the Grocer, and she truly elevated the entire dining experience. From the moment we arrived, Sandra greeted us warmly with a genuine smile and made us feel immediately welcome. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered excellent recommendations that suited our preferences perfectly. Sandra anticipated our needs, ensured our table was always looked after, and managed to balance efficiency with friendliness effortlessly. Always good to come back to Jones ! The always welcoming and happy staff amazing chefs to their bit to serve some great fresh food on the table with lots of love makes this place stand out from the rest ! Doesn’t get too noisy. This time breakfast it was and Sandra made it sure it was a beautiful morning after our visit at the beach. Definitely recommended if your looking to have a good meal and great service!

Visited Jones the Grocer SZR today and tried two dishes: the Anatolia Eggs and the Berry Hotcake. The Anatolia Eggs were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented as always. But the real star of the meal was the Berry Hotcake 🥞 Fluffy, light, and perfectly cooked, the hotcake was topped generously with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a luscious berry compote. Every bite had the right balance of sweetness, tang, and richness, especially with the drizzle of syrup and cream. It’s one of those desserts (or breakfasts!) that instantly makes you happy and feels almost too pretty to cut into 😀 until you do, and it’s even better inside. Truly a must try if you visit! A big shoutout to Sandra, my server, who was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by for the Berry Hotcake, you won’t regret it!

I came back after a long time and was amazed at the new menu and the renewed energy of the staff. Excellent food. Basit and Ramesh made the experience awesome. I would recommend coming here and giving it a shot. Best cheese selection and their burrata is to die for.

The staff especially Sandra and Ruby are very accommodating and hospitable. They made sure we have the best experience in the restaurant. The food was also excellent. We feel like home. Thanks to all the team.
