Good food and coffee bean was good as well. You could find some 2 for 1 deals on the ENTERTAINER APP for this restaurant. Only feedback I have is around the cutlery. The knifes were a bit blunt. Especially when having to cut through sourdough bread.

This is a cute little restaurant nestled in the Constantia vineyard area. With great views of the vineyards and mountains, this establishment is definitely worth visiting. The staff are accommodating and friendly, and ensured we were hosted well! There’s an option to sit outside, in the restaurant and then also in the courtyard (which is enclosed too). There wasn’t any background music in the courtyard, but it was quite noisy and I feel the music would’ve added additional stimulation to the atmosphere. The brioche French toast is a must to order! It would’ve been nice if they added mascarpone cheese to the dish, and/or a berry compote, as it was a little dry but I felt it also had too much syrup poured onto it. The iced red cappuccino was good, tasted more like a latté but all in all, it was good. They did charge for a glass of boiled water, which was hilarious! Overall, I was happy with my visit! There’s a museum onsite with an entrance fee of R30, which you can visit should you wish to learn more about the history of the place. It’s also a great place to explore and one is also able to get some great outdoor photos!

Definitely very good food and wine. The food prices maybe higher than some others wineries i had visited. It has beautiful scenery, a museum , and a visitor route that you can walk. Very easy to stay for couple of hours.

Chocolate nemesis was mind blowing! Rich, decadent, semi sweet and nicely paired with crème fraîche and fresh fruits. One of the best chocolate desserts I’ve had. Slow cooked lamb shoulder was really good as well and the crispy potatoes were perfect! Artisan burrata cheese was super fresh and milky and cheesy. Their signature white blend wine was unique and velvety. Shiraz was nice as well. Bright and warm ambiance in the garden seating. Pretty vineyards with great views of mountains. Nice service as well.

Our experience at Jonkershuis was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service went above and beyond. Sipho, along with the rest of the Jonkershuis team, took such great care of us, ensuring that even with our large table, everything ran smoothly without us needing to ask twice—a rarity in such settings. The serene atmosphere added to the magic of the day, and we can’t wait to return.

Popped in for a glass of wine and a crasar salad on Sunday, and it was packed. BUT the most friendly , happy and smiley Maitre'D Angela whonwas clearly absolutely busy was so patinet kind and helpful and promptly send a waiter to get spare table and had us seated and enjoying a glass of Groot Constantia Sav Blanc in minute. The staff passing almost all smiled and asked if we were happy and everything was fine! Whomever is doing staff training needs a medal. The staff were friendly, happy, and patient DESPITE being crazy busy... a lesson for all other restaurants, you can still serve patrons "joyfully" when busy! Oh, the food ... fresh baguette with butter and a ceasar salad (mmm it was "ok" but shredded/chopped letuce vs full leave cos lettuce and little or no anchoy flavour but it was not bad so not "complaint".) Menu is a little pricey, but it's a huge tourist attraction, so it's not outrageous.

What a joy to visit this beautiful, vibrant, yet serene estate and DELICIOUS restaurant! Our waitron was friendly and attentive. Our meals (we chose the tasting platter as well as the babotie. Both Cape Malay inspired meals were tastefully presented and tasted sublime. An awesome choice to bring your foreign guests to impress them and to show them why it is that Cape Town is the most beautiful place on earth!
