This is a cute little restaurant nestled in the Constantia vineyard area. With great views of the vineyards and mountains, this establishment is definitely worth visiting. The staff are accommodating and friendly, and ensured we were hosted well! There’s an option to sit outside, in the restaurant and then also in the courtyard (which is enclosed too). There wasn’t any background music in the courtyard, but it was quite noisy and I feel the music would’ve added additional stimulation to the atmosphere. The brioche French toast is a must to order! It would’ve been nice if they added mascarpone cheese to the dish, and/or a berry compote, as it was a little dry but I felt it also had too much syrup poured onto it. The iced red cappuccino was good, tasted more like a latté but all in all, it was good. They did charge for a glass of boiled water, which was hilarious! Overall, I was happy with my visit! There’s a museum onsite with an entrance fee of R30, which you can visit should you wish to learn more about the history of the place. It’s also a great place to explore and one is also able to get some great outdoor photos!
