This was a fun place to go to for a walk. It does get very crowded, so I recommend you go a early as possible.

Definitely watch! Very nice neighbourhood in Singapore with small restaurants, bars, shops etc.

Nice to visit and taking pictures, have a cup of coffee relaxing…..

Hadn’t heard of this little neighborhood until it was recommended to us by a bartender. So many cute shops, restaurants, murals, and more! Perfect place to spend an afternoon a bit outside of the usual tourist city areas.

Quite the interesting neighbourhood. You have conservation shop houses around You will find plenty of cafes and cute shops . You will find restaurants both western and local food. There is also a Cold Storage along the road .

If you are planning to travel by feet, beware : JOO CHIAT ROAD IS LOOONG. We hopped off Marine Parade MRT station & immediately saw Church of Singapore, and we followed along the path way ahead, until we saw all the Peranakan shop-houses 🥹✨ ALL of the cafes, shops, clinics, etc. are in these kinds of building. Wow, such a breathtaking sight even though we arrived here after raining & it's already night. (but note this : If you want to see the Instagram-worthy Peranakan pastel buildings, you'll have to walk to Koon Seng Road, not Joo Chiat 😭)
