Joo Chiat Rd

Hadn’t heard of this little neighborhood until it was recommended to us by a bartender. So many cute shops, restaurants, murals, and more! Perfect place to spend an afternoon a bit outside of the usual tourist city areas.

Beautiful historic homes and colourful houses make this an Instagram paradise. Quaint shops and cafes, and museums nearby allow you the chance to explore and refresh as needed. It’s tucked away on the east side, and felt mostly residential, with locals on their bikes and people walking their dogs. We arrived quite early, just after 9am and by the time we left, there must’ve been multiple groups of people/photographers trying to get a perfect shot along Joo Chiat Road

Loved this place! Peranakkan houses, cute corners and amazing vibe! Easily accessible by bus..

Great place to hangout find whatever the food you like also, there are some good designers around as well.

Great place to take photos and great road to stroll and hangout. It has many great cafes and restaurants and shopping centres. Worthwhile to try and stay at Joochiat

I love this place. Many old house become shop/cafe

aesthetically pleasing. don’t forget to bring your umbrella (if it’s too hot to take a photo)
