Considering its cheap price it's not a bad option for accommondation if you're traveling on budget. Location is also great. However, the shower room smells moldy and the fridge is dirty and smells horrendeous. Mattresses are also quite thin but they do the job. In conclusion: it's very affordable option with great location but don't expect too much.

Small hostel in the center of Katowice, my experience is mostly positive, the hostel has recently been completely renovated, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen really spacious and fully equipped, it is worth noting the fact that you have coffee, tea and biscuits at your disposal, all free of charge, and unlike the hostels where I have stayed, the towels were free, another pleasant surprise, they also speak Italian

It's alright. Very clean, great location and nice staff. My room was very smelly, but I believe it was the other guests fault, not the hostel's, because there was food leftovers all around, alcohol bottles and cans all around and strange folks, but all good in general. It was cheap, I had an easy self check-in and the bed was very comfortable.

The ways of the owners of handling feedback and managing a challenging situation are totally unprofessional. All the answers to the reviews are hostile, aggressive and trying to intimidate the people. I hope you have a great day and learn how to do business properly. First and foremost, it's astonishing that you would use personal insults in your reply to a legitimate concern. This is not only unprofessional but also shows a complete lack of respect for your customers. Regarding your assertion about the reservation rules, it’s common knowledge that emergencies happen. A more reputable establishment would have at least made an effort to understand the situation and offer a solution, rather than hastily canceling a fully paid reservation without any attempt at communication. It's shocking that you believe it's acceptable to take payment for a service you did not provide and then turn around and cancel the reservation without any notice. Moreover, your attempt to invalidate this review by pointing out that it wasn't written by the reservation holder only underscores your inability to take responsibility for your actions. The fact remains that your hostel failed to deliver on a paid service and then responded to feedback with hostility and insults. For future customers considering this hostel, be aware: the management here clearly prioritizes strict, inflexible rules over customer satisfaction and basic human decency. If you book here, don’t expect any understanding or flexibility in the event of an emergency, and certainly don’t expect a courteous response if you have any issues. I really liked it. We stayed for four nights, and it was clean, warm and comfortable. The building is lovely, full of character, and very bright and colourful inside. It felt safe and secure, as there are two number locks to get inside. Staff and the other guests were all friendly and helpful. The room wasn't huge but it was big enough, and the bed far more comfortable than it looked. The shower is spacious and never seemed to run out of hot water. The hair dryer cuts out after about a minute, but I'm assuming that's a safety feature. The kitchen had all you could need and had lots of room for preparing food and dining. The oven wasn't working, but we just bought food that could be put in the microwave. For the vegans, it's in the perfect location because there is an amazing vegan cafe directly over the street ☺️ For everyone else, it's in the perfect location because it's only a few minutes walk into town or to the station. Only thing I would say is that I'm a very heavy sleeper and slightly deaf, and while i had four nights of really good sleep, if you're a light sleeper looking to stay more than one night you might struggle, because the walls are very thin...you can hear the shower running three rooms away and people's conversations even when they're talking very quietly. This didn't bother me at all, but my daughter had to buy earplugs. I will definitely stay there again.

My favorite hostel in Poland. I stayed 3weeks and I had a great time! I forgot to check the check in time and came early but the woman at the reception welcomed me with open arms. The best deal in town even on the weekends. All the workers here are absolutely amazing with a beautiful soul. And the kitchen was AMAZING! I was able to cook everyday without problems. And they clean the place EVERYDAY. Only problem is a few of you travelers are TRASH. Leaving the kitchen and bathroom dirty. Being loud at night. Giving attitude to the kind workers. If you think your entitled and a crybaby in an adult body. Go away and get a hotel that 10times more expensive. This isn't the place for babies. Its not their fault some of us are immature and can't grow up. 😇😇😇

Great location, horrible conditions in toilets, old, worn bedsheets. For quick sleep over only.
