Do you know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of a ski lodge. It's got that "apres ski"feel to it. Lots of wood, high ceilings, the wood tables you would find in the ski lodge to grab a quick lunch. That's where my brain went right away. I went with friends and I wasn't very hungry so I just had a soup. I think it was $12 or $14 for a soup. My friend had a beef sandwich I believe. Everybody enjoyed their food. The service is warm and friendly. It feels like everyone knows each other. It's off-season for tourism so it seems like it was only locals in there. I would say a lunch is about 20 -25 dollars. And it's 👍 food. You know when the locals go there it's a good spot. There is also a private room for private parties in the upstairs area. The washrooms were downstairs. Perhaps a little bit more difficult for people with mobility issues. There is free parking on the side of the building. And it's such a pretty Street! Beautiful little area. Actually worth the drive to visit as a destination restaurant.

I didn't know the Jordan house was hurting so bad. We frequent the tavern for dinner and lunch and I keep returning until now. I ordered a Hamburger and had to pay an additional $1 for mayonnaise.... and extra dollar for a pretty standard topping? What's next $2 for ketchup? That is enough for me not to return! There are plenty other pubs near by who don't nickel and dime their patrons. Maybe start a go fund me page if times are that tough!

Stayed here a couple of days for business - perfectly fine rooms and I really appreciated how quiet things were at night. Got takeout from the tavern - meat lovers pizza and hot wings. The pizza was GREAT, genuinely a great pizza. The wings? They were TINY (especially considering what you pay) and the sauce lacked flavour and heat. I also had a hamburger the next day and it was perfectly fine. Just DO NOT get the wings - you'll be disappointed. So, the hotel is great, the tavern is great. Just don't order the wings.

This is exactly as advertised. A comfortable clean hotel offering a good value price. This hotel is perfect as a location to use as a base for touring the wineries and restaurants of the area. Nothing fancy and ideal if you don’t plan to spend much time on the property other than to shower, rest and sleep. Easy parking. Only negative is you have to check in at the Inn on the Twenty which is about half a kilometre down Main Street. Not a big deal, just to make aware. A couple of bakeries and restaurants in the immediate area with a convenience store and gas station across the street.

My family recently had a " Celebration of Life", luncheon at Jordan House for 15 family members. As this was the first visit for most , as many were from out of area , all agreed that the menu , atmosphere and service was excellent. We could not have been more pleased. Especially with our server Becky. She was very attentive and most pleasant. Job well done! Would highly recommend.

Fabulous room, great bed and super large bathroom. We were there for a wedding up the street and this hotel was just what we needed for our night's stay. Check in was easy and we enjoyed all the amenities our room had to offer. The towels, sheets, pillows were all top notch. We will be back!

Stopped by for lunch with my family and it was amazing. The atmosphere and service is welcoming and comfortable, and the food was spectacular. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

This is for the tavern. Luckily we didn't pay $12 for a tomato soup that was somewhere between pizza sauce and tomato paste. The cheddar ale dip was ok, but the cheese on top was not melted at all. The service was not great. No personality. When they saw that the soup wasn't eaten after everyone else was done eating they were not apologetic at all. It was if they expected it. For a vintage hotel property the entire experience was surprisingly awful. Need a lot of changes for improvement.
