"Just a few doors from the aforementioned Levure sits this classic candy store. A small shop filled with colorful bins and barrels full of both nostalgic and modern confections. They have everything from wax sweets and jelly beans to fine handcrafted chocolates and ice cream. Just grab a bag and a scoop. Everyday can feel like Halloween in the 50’s." - A Civil Fox

Nice shop. Good collection of items for sale. Prices are a bit high for the items - acceptable for hard to find items, but strange for simple things like m&ms. Staff was available, not super friendly or inviting. Maybe they are trying to keep it low pressure, but a hello or welcome seems appropriate. Perhaps that's just me, I'm used to welcoming people who enter a place where I work. Aside from that, clean and well organized.

Very clean store with really nice employees. The girl was super sweet and did a wonderful job putting together our box of truffles. It was fun to see all the different types of candies from the past and present. Always appreciate a store that keeps their food store clean and tidy.

EDIT: Owner is correct, the product was not 'expired'. It was several months past the 'Best Before' date from Cadbury-- I have corrected appropriately as the response from the business is factually correct on expiration. However, Jordan's Sweet Shoppe is perfectly fine selling products that the manufacturer has stated will no longer meet their intended standards of quality. The business admitted below they regularly sell products that are outside the 'Best Before' date. The quality standard utilized by this business is an employees taste test of chocolate freshness, not the established standards of the food industry. Additionally, when I spoke to the employee no apology was made, no offer to make it correct. My only option was to drive 30 minutes round trip to get a business card to contact the owner-- the employee would not share the info over the phone. Jordan's Sweet Shoppe needs to learn the power of saying "We are sorry you are disappointed, how can we make it right?" Additionally, their quality standards leave something to be desired for me personally. If their position is the quality standard is the staffs personal taste and NOT the manufacturers 'Best Before' dates that should be clearly spelled out to customers so they can make an informed decision. We will not be returning to this store and will share our experience with our local network. ======== Purchased 2 containers of cotton candy and a Wispa chocolate bar this afternoon. The Wispa bar “Best Before” date is 30 Nov 2022. Today is 19 Apr 2023. Why do you have products that expired 5 months ago on your shelves? When I reached out to the store there was no apology or empathy. No offer for refund. I was told to come in and get a business card for her boss. Such shame as we visit the candy shop after getting allergy shots for my daughter. Definitely be cautious of 'Best Before' dates if you shop at Jordan’s Sweet Shoppe.

I stopped by to get chocolates for my girlfriend and the owner was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me pick out just the right thing.

The store is cute and colorful with a large variety however much of the candy is not fresh. Several of the candies I wanted to purchase were well past the expiration date. When I pointed it out to the clerk she stated that 'candy doesn't ever go bad, it just isn't as fresh and it may be stale'. Umm, no thank you . (Chick-O- Stick expired February 2018...well over one year ago)

I just wanna come in here to laugh with the owner about the responses to these reviews! I am CACKLING. Can’t wait to visit and make a real review. Maybe I’ll get roasted like some of these guys 😂😂😂 Or maybe the owner will hire my child when he turns 16 in May. I’d love it 🤣🤣

Yelp
I can't express how much fun I have when I come here! I can bring my kids, my partner or a friend and we will leave with a wide variety of sweets! Last weekend however, we finally had the honor of meeting Jordan herself and her amazing husband. My boyfriend was literally the kid in the candy store, just going off on how he loves the fact that this candy store is the first one in Texas (he is a transplant) that carried a wide variety of his favorite European chocolates. The owners shared their expedition on getting ahold of the foreign candy as I salivated over their sour gummies, mango with chile gummies, and their truffles. It's safe to say that the owners either think my boyfriend was very eccentrically excited over the candy or.... he probably had too much candy before we arrived there and needed to feed his non-existent addiction to sugar.

Yelp
This associate wearing a bright green shirt with light brown Conrad Fisher hair attended me today and he was very rude and mean. He deserves to be fired. While I was shopping this kid around the age of 5 bumped his face into the door, he screamed at him and said "Don't ever do that ever again!!." But the kid was laughing and being joyful because he is a kid. After that the customers left and later came back they had been there a while looking being rather very indecisive because of all the choices of candy there is. Then he said "You guys can't be in here if you're not gonna buy anything, and if you're not gonna buy anything leave." As they were leaving he also said "And you can't be in the back hiding eating candy!" Which they weren't, the associate was assuming stuff and should be fired! It's outrageous how there's so many kids in that plaza and thats a candy shop where kids shop. So why is he so rude to kids? I really hope he gets fired or suspended from working because this is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!

Yelp
Older man at the counter was extremely rude when I asked if they had any sugar free syrups for the snow cones. You could almost hear him roll his eyes. I continued to asked if they knew any nutrition for the syrups. His response was extremely and unnecessarily rude, "it's loaded with sugar." K, cool dude. I'm an absolute idiot and had no idea that they are loaded with sugar, thank you for informing me. Obviously I know it's loaded with sugar. My child has Type 1 Diabetes and I wanted to give her a surprise that she NEVER gets because her pancreas which she was born with decided to crap out on her... so forgive me for asking if you had any idea on the carb count so that I could give her insulin to cover this rare treat. Obviously, we did not stay and walked out. ...my response to the owner. You were extremely rude. If you were going to get nutrition information a more appropriate response would have been, "I can go look to see what we have and I will be right back." The mask definitely did not muffle what you said, it came across extremely clear... you didn't and don't want our business.

Yelp
It's become a staple of the community. You can't visit the Town Greene without stopping in. They have ice cream, couture handmade chocolates, sodas, nostalgia candy for the adults and every type of sweet treat for the kiddos. My only complaint is more about the kids who hang out in there. There's a cashier stand in the center of the store in a small, square space with one side having the register & customers line. The remaining sides have frozen treats which require employee/cashier assistance. Numerous times we have found ourselves in line while kids start requesting ice cream, shaved ice... without standing in the main line. Perhaps because we often visit on Friday evening or when there's a packed house. But kids cutting in front of you can add so long to your wait time. We've actually put our candy down and just left the store. A few weeks ago was horrid. My husband didn't want me going in with our toddler during COVID but I assured him we'd be fine. Kids come in and began looking at ice cream and/or shaved ice. We finally get to the front of the line and the cashier turns to these kids and starts making their shaved ice. Sigh. My husband is standing outside and gives me the look. Double sigh. I look down to talk to my 4 yr old and when I look up, the same kids ordering shaved ice, were now at the register with me, and one girl turned my direction to COUGH! There has to be a better way to accommodate everyone.

Yelp
Cute candy and ice cream store. Prices a bit high and we ordered snow cones and ice cream. The snow cone was alright presentation not to appealing and ice cream was okay. My kids loved it hence the 3 stars.

Rich C.

Yelp
Kids love coming here, I'm sure we can all guess why. Fun little place to go. Lots of sweet options to choose from. Service often lacks. A smile, a greeting, and a thank you goes a long way.

April L.

Yelp
Fun little candy shop with lots of options. Something for everyone including ice cream, Mexican candies, old favorites and fun gift ideas.

Yelp
Stopped in here randomly after dinner. The young man who was working the register was incredibly helpful and engaged in a great conversation. We had no idea what we wanted - and he helped us out with opinions and descriptions of the candy. Definitely recommend and will be back because of his great personality and service!

Yelp
My husband bought me a box of chocolates for Valentine's Day and gave them to me this evening. They are absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to visit with him for some other treats! We just recently moved to The Woodlands, so I see many trips here for some dessert in our future.

Yelp
I can't say enough good about this place! GREAT selection and service. Clean and well organized, indoor and outdoor seating, great location that kids can play at. This is my favorite place to go.

Yelp
I had heard that a Jordan's Sweet Shoppe would be opening over on I45 and 242, so I decided to check out the original store. I'm so happy I did. More than that, my two girls were happy. It was a magical adventure. The owner was kind and very friendly. He welcomed the children with a big smile. His love for children shows in everything he does. We found a wonderful selection of candies and goodies. My daughter said he made them the world's best snow cones! We had a wonderful time exploring the store. I look forward to visiting again soon with my grand babies.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
I love taking my children into this local candy shop, however the $5 minimum on a credit card doesn't sit well with me. I won't be back unless I have cash, and that's not often.

Sydney E.

Yelp
This is a small business still in its baby years, so I'm happy to cut them some slack. When I first walked in, I wasn't immediately greeted by the owner, even though I was the only one in the shop, so that threw me off a little bit. The selection is good- not as huge as the one in The Woodlands mall, but certainly better than I've seen elsewhere. Still comparing to the mall candy shop, their truffles are a MILLION times better. They also have a good selection of different colored m&m's, bulk and old fashioned candies. I find this place to be a little out of the way for most people in The Woodlands however, so I really hope the shopping center continues to develop so I can justify an afternoon trip over there.

Yelp
I didn't go here myself, but my mother-in-law went there to get me chocolate for my birthday. She'd gone online and found that they carried chocolate from "Premium Chocolatiers," a company that specializes in high quality vegan chocolate. They didn't have the chocolate truffles that she wanted to get for me, so they ordered some for her, saving her the ridiculous cost of shipping the company charges on top of their high prices (which are worth it for the chocolate, just not with the shipping). My mother-in-law is a delightful woman, and I'm so happy they treated her so well. Additionally, I now have chocolate truffles I can finally eat (imagine being a pregnant lady with egg/dairy allergies and no awesome chocolate)! They also seem to have a great variety of non-vegan items that I'll consider for my friend and family later.

Yelp
Jordan's did the candy buffet for my wedding! It was beautiful, fun, and delicious! We went with the colors pink and white. Jordan helped us determine which quantities to order, and we had plenty to go around. It was also a much better deal than some of the companies who come in and set up dessert buffets for you. She even topped it off by purchasing bags for our guests to put their candy in. Some of my favorites were the chocolate pecan pralines, sour belts, and champagne jelly beans. Great new business and very helpful owners!!

Lucas M.

Yelp
This shop, while it does indeed have a large selection, is very sure to not list the actual candy prices anywhere. I was completely unsure of how much bags of candy or even individual candies cost. While the selection was impressive, the hidden prices made me spend almost $15 more than I intended. Overall, while the store's selection is good, prices should be made abundantly clear.

Yelp
The store is very nice and the products are fine. My issue is, it's 2016 and what company with any ability to Google cheaper Merchant account rates charges a $5.00 minimum. On top of it there in a upscale area with a low scale mentality. Be prepared to bring cash or be forced to pay 5 bucks minimum.
