Great place to have breakfast. It includes one dish for your choice and coffee or a soft drink. Excellent, well thought out menu that offers a wide selection to suit every taste. Very pleasant atmosphere and good service. I recommend it )

Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar is the hotel restaurant for Miðgarður by Center Hotels and after checking in cold, wet and very tired after a huge day touring the south coast in the pouring rain, we walked in here with no reservation and were treated to a superb meal. The seats were all taken so they found us a spot in the hotel lobby, but the service didn’t falter, the food came out fast, and they dealt with the request for a gluten free meal superbly. The set menu here is the best bargain in Reykjavik. For little more than the cost of a main at similar places, they deliver 3 courses of top quality food. After checking out the prices and the menus elsewhere, we decided to come back here the next night, and had another top quality meal.

We visited twice in the week as we were so impressed first time round. The food was very well prepared - lovely flavours, great ingredients, and very nicely presented.

We were a group of eight and went for brunch with bottomless drinks. The food was delicious, the service was seamless, and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun, relaxed brunch with friends. The staff were absolutely exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great brunch spot! We were all very impressed with the quality of the food here and the service. The plates are beautifully presented and the food well cooked. Much more than just a kitchen and bar and yet exactly what a modern kitchen and bar should be.

Nice folks. Cod (fish of the day) was very nice and tasty - had a bell pepper sauce and mild pureed sweet potato. Lamb was ordered med rare but came out over well done. Flavors were ok but wouldn’t order it again. Definitely a great value for a weekday lunch.

2 for 1 on weekday is really nice. Good lamb burger, wish i asked for so sauce and salmon grill with lit of vegetable.

It's a very nice place with decent food. I visited in a group and opinions on the food were divided. The lamb croquets were very dry and absolutely devoid of flavour; however, the ribs were very nice. The service was excellent though and the atmosphere is very nice.
