Casa Antonieta Hotel Review | Hotels Above Par

"The studio of blind ceramist Jose Garcia Antonio is represented on the rooftop shop by signature engraved-face ceramics and pieces made from a distinctive burnt‑orange clay; these handmade pots and accents are often displayed amid potted cacti and shaded corners and are noted for their recognizable, artisanal style."

Oh, my! Adorable place. Authentic people. Wonderful family business story. Very low key. Galleria with an historical tour. This is one smallish place we suggest you make every effort to get to. The Hands That See.

Very talented Potter (Jose) and his family. The entire studio is filled with years of work. Very unique pieces ranging from cups, planters to giant status of his wife. He lost his sight 17 years ago but is still creating beautiful work. It's especially romantic because slot of the work is statues of his wife. ♥️❤️🧡❤️💛

I'm happy with my pottery and the design but over all I love the story behind it. I wish the prices of the pottery were according with who made it, because other members of the family piece's are the same price or higher than the fathers. What make the pieces special is Don Jose' story.

Una increíble experiencia conocer a esta pareja de maestros alfareros, su historia de amor y superación es digna de reconocerse, su casa es un museo abierto, y el legado con sus hijos continúa.
